Divination:Your Patronus and You Professor Craft stepped into her still bare classroom. The floor was still spongy and comfortable. She carried a stack of worksheets for the younger students. |
Tasha walked into class, with her bag over her shoulder, and saw the professor holding a stack of papers. "Good afternoon, Professor." She greeted as she took her seat. |
Lua entered the classroom slightly studying the professor in her cheery mood before slipping in a seat in the back row. She pulled out her parchement and quill waiting to take notes. |
Lee marched into the classroom, bag on his shoulder. He had been enjoying the past couple of Divination lessons since they were much more lively than the ones that had happened after Professor Riddle had to leave. How he missed her. He took a seat relativley near the front and stared at the mass amount of worksheets the Professor had. Maybe this class wasn't going to be as lively as he had thought when he had came in. He grabbed a quill from his bag and placed it neatly on his desk next to his ink well which he took out straight after. Once he was satisfied he was prepared he looked at Hebe waiting for her to begin - but it seemed more students still needed to arrive. Lee began singing to himself as he patiently waited. |
Stepping into the classroom where Professor Craft was waiting Patrick looked around for a seat. For the first time in his duration at the school he was early for class. He took a seat in the second row. he glanced around at Lua. "Hey, Lua," he said to his Quidditch Captain. and then he delved in his bag for parchment and quills. |
Profesor Craft smiled at the incoming students. "Good Afternoon. Be careful with your chairs. I haven't been able to fully reverse the charm on the floor." She eyed the squishy floor warily. "Please separate yourselves. I want those capable of producing a Patronus on the left." She shuffled the worksheets as the students separated. |
Jamie took a seat in his usual seat, towards the center of the room and took over his Divination book. He was pleased to find the Professor in such a good mood and bounced a little on the spongy floor. Not entirely sure of what exactly a Patronus was, he thought it safe to take a seat on the right side. |
Sean, only a first year, knew he could not produce one. So, he stayed where he was at and then asked, "Should the ones who can't go to the left or stay here?" |

Lee raised himself from his seat and headed to the left. He had managed to form his first patronus in the summer between his fifth and sixth year since his Grandpa took pride in giving him one to one summer classes. It did take Lee a couple of months for his patronus to appear clear enough to tell what it actually was. His patronus was a squirrel - his mother's animagus form. |
Sean heard what Professor Hebecraft had to say and walked to the right of the room. He took a seat by the wall. |
Patrick revacated his seat and moved to the right side of the room. he sey down his quill and parchment again and then realised that he was missing his ink he dug it out of his bag which he then hung on the back of his chair. |
Tasha moved over to the right side of the class. She knew full well that she couldn't produce a patronus seeing as how they were practicing them in DA meetings. |
After hearing the professor’s request, Jordan walked over to the left of the room. She took a seat and waited for what was to come. After the last lesson, she was very excited to be having class again. |
Cassandra was a little embarrassed, she was a first year, but since her father had many enemies, he had made sure she could conjure a patronus once she turned 6 years of age. She moved to the left side of the classroom, hoping no one would notice. |
Professor Craft cleared her throat, her voice raspy from her last lesson. "Students on the right please take a worksheet from the front desk." (Feel free to print this out) She watched the younger students begin to file forword, she directed her attention to the older students. "Its good to see so many of you able to produce a Patronus. Could you please tell me the proper way to produce a Patronus?" |
Tasha stood and walked to the table. She took a worksheet from the stack and bounced across the squishy floor back to her seat on the right side of the room. |
Lee raised his hand, "well its always good to clear your head before you attempt doing a patronus. Once you have cleared your head remove your wand, do the appropriate wand movements and state the incantation 'expecto patronum' to cast your patronus. Your patronus will come out in a shape of some sort of animal and is silvery in colour - the form of your patronus is souly based on your emotions and personality, really." Lee smiled. |
Tasha listened intently to everything everyone was saying about conjouring a patronus while she took notes. |

Lee closed his eyes when the room went dark and took a deep breath through the nose and out the mouth. He waved his wand to the correct movement and clearly pronounced, "Expecto patronum!" A silver light erupted from his wand and the small silver squirrel stood in the middle of the classroom. He moved his wand about the classroom allowing the squirrel to climb up the desks and such. When he was finished with his performance his squirrel appartion disappeared and the room was left dark once again for one of the others to perform. |
Tasha tried. "Expecto Patronum!" she said and she mimmiked the wand movement the other students were doing, and yet she still got the silvery vapor. " What else is there to the charm other than the incantation and wand movement?" she asked as she watched the other patronuses prance around the room with some wicked stealth. Tasha was anxious to learn this one. |
Lua gasped as the lights went out and instead casting her patronous she muttered 'lumos', and shiftily looked around her as if something frightening would appear. Everything was taking a toll on her, ghada, the hallways, and lastly her cat being murdered leaving her in utter distress. |
Cassandra's hand rose "Professor, one must think of something very strong and happy, then with your wand you say 'Expecto Patronum' and a silvery phantom shape, usually that of an animal, will apear. The shape is the embodiment of the positive thoughts of the witch or wizard who casts the charm." |
Alanna stuffed a worksheet in her bag and nervously waved her wand. It was one of those spells she knew how to do, but could nevr pull off. "Expecto Patronum!" she said, and a thick whitish something floated form the tip of her wand. Giving it an angry glare, she watched it evaporate, then tried agin, with the same result. Dare she hope it was a shape? No, she decided. It wasn't a shape at all. |
