Alanna sipped her tea carefully, as if would burn her. Will I lose my friends? she asked herself over and over. She wasn't sure what she meant by this or what the answer would be, but she kept asking herself. |
Alicia peered into the contents of her cup, a key??? What could this mean, she looked carefully into the teacup, and then shifted her Divination book open, and found the section named 'Tasseography' she flipped the page and found the 'key' symbol, she read in a whisper 'doors will open to success'' thoughts were buzzing in her mind as she took time to close her eyes and digest the information. |
Amy sipped out the liquid out of her cup and hoped that it would say something about her having friends here:( |
Lauren nodded slightly in recognition of the task at hand and turned to her cup. She put her lips to the china, blowing over the liquid to prevent burning her mouth like some of her more hasty classmates had. She took small sips, all the while thinking of the only question that really mattered to her, "Will my father ever accept that I\'m here, in this wizarding world?" Draining the cup ever so slowly of its liquid contents, she hoped the tea leaves would read - if anything at all - something she hoped to hear. |
Brookelyn sipped her tea as she thought about the main question that had been on her mind lately. "Will my cousin follow up in the plan we have had since we were little kids in becoming one of the Drak Lords followers or will she leave me and the rest of my family so that she can be independant?"She was hoping that the answer would have something to do with her staying with the family. |
Erin took one long drink of her tea, thinking, Is now the right time to talk to my sister? She didn\'t care much for the taste of tea, so making a sour face, Erin looking into the cup. After examining the inside of the cup from all angles, she decided that the most prominant shape was an iron, shown when the teacup was turned about 40 degrees. Erin opened her book and skimmed through the signs until she found the iron. It said: Be Patient. She sighed, realizing that it was right, she probably should wait a bit longer until she confronted her sister. Erin sat still and looked over towards the professor, wondering what she should do now. |
AJ drank her tea while thinking hard, \'will my aunt ever be nice to me?\' she wondered. |
Tia took the cup in her hands and slowly raised it to her lips, sipping in the hot liquid. She could feel her tongue burning and much of her enthusiasm seemed to slacken away, almost immediately – She was not used to drinking tea, coffee had long been her choice. She lowered the cup for a second, the bitter taste of the sugar-free drink cruising through her mouth. Then she drank it again, hoping very much that the tea did not choke and suffocate her to death. She concentrated on the question that had plagued her most since a few days, though a week or two ago she could not have cared less about it. “Should I inquire after my parents?” she thought to herself, her eyes half-closed as she drained the tea. Trust her parents, whom she had not seen for – how many was it again? Oh yes, more than twelve years – to exaggerate their teeniest quarrels, yet she had an odd feeling that, this time, their disparities might tend to cause more harm than they had done in the past decade, or so. The letter that had reached her earlier today had sounded serious, if not desperate. Not that she was in the least hurry to write back – It was her parents’ way. To pen down their frustration and send their daughter letters of fury and severity, to which she never responded. But maybe she needed to change her practice, at least for the time being – She was not sure whether to write back or not, and yet she wondered if she should not pay them a visit. She drank another sip of tea, her mouth sour with the unsweetened taste, concentrating on the question that tensed her: “Should I pay my parents a visit?” she thought with as much concentration as she could muster. Could they, in the present circumstances, need her at all? |
Madalyn picked up her cup wondering which question to ask, and wondering if she wanted to know the answer. So she decided to ask something simple that wouldn\'t unnerving to find the answer to. "Bottoms up" whe whispered as she asked herself if she would ever make the house quidditch team. |
Markie pondered her question, and looked up to see the many intent faces around her pondering the same thing. After a few seconds, she blushed, and wondered to herself while sipping her tea, "Will I find true romance this year?" That would be her question. |
Alicia opened her eyes, and took out her notebook. She wrote the date at the top, and wrote a summary about todays lesson, her thoughts. and then she wrote down the symbols that were in her teacup, drew them and wrote down what it means. Then, she re-filled her teacup and did the required instructions and sipped her tea carefully. Then she took another big gulp and then peered into her teacup. "A ghost" she whispered. "An person who is unworthy to trust" she read. She swallowed her word and thought for a moment "somebody I trust, is going to betray me, or is going to potentially hurt me, or thier friendship is unworthy" she translated. She drew her symbol, wrote it and wropte down the meaning in her notebook, and then the translation. Then she writ down her thoughts, carefully and for a long time- this divination lesson was going to be a big help for the future she thought. |
Heshasa sipped her tea quietly, rather enjoying herself. She concetrated on her question,"Will I still have all of my friends by the end of this term?" She stared into space pondering what could happen. Kalaya and her had not been able to stay mad at each other for over five minutes and she hoped beyond hope that that wouldn\'t change. But in the back of her mind a more pressing question clawed at her thoughts,"Do I really care that my sister died?" Everytime she attempted to shake it from her thoughts it came back and she feared it would effect her tea leaf reading. |
Alanna finally reached the bottom of her cup. She pulled out a notebook, wrote down her question and what they were supposed to be doing, and searched thorugh the textbook for her symbol. Only when she read the word on the long list did the tea leaf picture make sense: it was an elephant. Loyalty. Puzzled, Alanna carefully drew her symbol and the meaning next to it. "Loyalty" wasn\'t a word that really answered the question. |
