Serena raised her hand. "Furnunculus?"

LadyNerd 08-06-2006 09:03 PM

Stacey raised her hand once more, "Furnunculus."

hermyone11 08-06-2006 09:03 PM

Audrey raised her hand. "Furnunculus, Professor?"

GreenDayGirl9293 08-06-2006 09:04 PM

Nicole raised her hand, and said, "Furnunculus"

BrightestWitch 08-06-2006 09:04 PM

Jordana raised her hand and said, "I think its Furnunculus, Professor"

Hermione_loves_Ron 08-06-2006 09:04 PM

Jamie raised his hand. "Is it Furnunculus?"

HP_Fan_09 08-06-2006 09:07 PM

Jewil raised her hand, but noticing that she was a few miniuts to late she just wrote down furnuculus on her paper and worte down what it did beside it.

Hermione_loves_Ron 08-06-2006 09:08 PM

The boy's nose and mouth scrunched up slightly as a handful of others answered before him. His cheeks flushed a light pink though, to see that he had indeed been correct. He scribbled this down with the rest of his notes, keeping this particular one in mind. He honestly hadn't ever heard of that one and had to flip through his spell book to even find it. He glanced over at Blossom and gave her a weak smile, more for his own encouragement.

WhizzyBubbles 08-06-2006 09:11 PM

Alicia wrote down Furnunculus and looked around at all the students, she spotted Nicole and waved silently, a little.

Cassirin 08-06-2006 09:15 PM

"Good again, Evy... the answer is Furnunculus. You lot know your defensive spells. Five more for Hufflepuff, and the last spell..." She stared at her paper before tossing it into the rubbish bin. "This spell distracts the attacker by making them laugh."

Graham5980 08-06-2006 09:15 PM

"Furnunculus?" Shane's hand shot up.

Evy 08-06-2006 09:16 PM

Evy raised her hand. "Rictumsempra."

Hermione_loves_Ron 08-06-2006 09:16 PM

"Rictusempra," said Jamie eagerly with his hand in the air.

WhizzyBubbles 08-06-2006 09:17 PM

Alicia shot her hand up immediately "Rictumsempra!!"

BrightestWitch 08-06-2006 09:18 PM

Jordana raised her hand and said, "Is it Rictusempra?"

GreenDayGirl9293 08-06-2006 09:18 PM

"Rictumsempra" Nicole said.

Graham5980 08-06-2006 09:18 PM

"Rictus Sempra!" Shane still had his hand up, as he hadn't bothered to put it down.

LovelyLunaLovegood 08-06-2006 09:19 PM

Brianna copied all of the spells and their meanings down onto the parchment in front of her.

HP_Fan_09 08-06-2006 09:20 PM

Jewil felling sligtly alarmend that she was slower at remebering the spells then everyone else wrote down Rictusempra. She was hoping that she could get some extra points for gryfffindor but at least she was in class trying. She waited for the prof to tell the class what was next.

x*[.BooM.]*x 08-06-2006 09:21 PM

"Rictumsempra" said Kalaria.

Cassirin 08-06-2006 09:24 PM

Rae laughed. "I certainly thought I'd fool you with that one, but I was wrong. Evy, you're remarkably quick on your feet today. Five more for Hufflepuff, and I think we're done with that game. The last area to discuss is that of Dark Creatures. Tell me, what distinguishes a Dark Creature from one that is not Dark?"

GreenDayGirl9293 08-06-2006 09:25 PM

"I'm not really sure. Well, the way it acts, I suppose. Whether it hurts people or not. Though, some creatures may hurt you, but that doesn't mean they're dark. I don't know." Nicole said, puzzled by the question.

Stacey raised her hand and hoped that her answer was right. "They don't have life cycles in the same sense that normal animals have. They attack for the sake of hurting someone, not simply to eat."

LovelyLunaLovegood 08-06-2006 09:26 PM

Brianna raised her hand and said " Dark Creatures often do not have a complete life cycle but exist simply as a physical extension of an evil intention."

Hermione_loves_Ron 08-06-2006 09:27 PM

Jamie raised his hand once more. "They often do not have a complete lifestyle, as a usual animal would. They tend just to exist, usually for evil purpose. They seek to harm, where typicl animals do not. Their aim is to maim and to hurt, activly seeking this. They're magical in nature, and not even true animals. They're a form of another magical being. If you read Fantastic Beasts its been referred to them as demons."
