Christina raised her hand, "They are magical in nature. They often do not have a complete life cycle the way a typical animal would but exist simply as a physical extension of an evil intention. They seek actively to harm, often for no other reason than that's what they do."

roonilwazlib 08-06-2006 09:27 PM

After raising his hand, Sean said, "Could it be their intentions or just whether they mean to do harm or not."

LovelyLunaLovegood 08-06-2006 09:27 PM

Brianna then replied " They are magical in nature."

Prancie concidered this question, "Well, I beleive that a dark creature is a creature that will attack someone with no provocation. It is simply malitious regardless of a situation."

BrightestWitch 08-06-2006 09:29 PM

Jordana raised her hand, "Is it that they are not naturally bred. There is some sort of magic involved with their breeding." she was sure she was wrong, but decided to give it a try.

Jewil looked around felling acward for not knowing the answer. She thought hard about what she read in the book the otherd day, but she just couldent reamber. I gusse it would be in the eyes, but that cant be the answer. She was allways told that the more the eyes grew plainer the worst the person was, but did that apply here. She hit her head with her hand telling herself to think, but when nothing came she wrote down what the others where saying. Thinking the whole time how much she wished she was smart enofe to remeber such small things about big subjects.

Then, Nicole said. "It's like a dark wizard. It all depends on their intentions. For example, some people would declare a werewolf dark, and others not. But, for some creatures, all of them are dark. I don't know anything to go by, because I can't think of one thing that fits all dark creatures."

Kalaria raised her hand,
"Dark creatures are creatures that fight along side the Dark One, that see pain and suffering as enjoyment, that mean to kill and hurt. As opposed to those who only kill to perhaps survive."

Siriana Red 08-06-2006 09:31 PM

"I believe Dark Creatures don't attack to sustain themselves, they attack to harm" Siriana said

Graham5980 08-06-2006 09:32 PM

"A werewolf is a type of dark version of a normal wolf..." Shane stated, "...and a Basilisk is made magically, for it's deadly stare, so they would be my answer in example form."

Ariana wrote down everything she heeard the professor say, concentrating hard on the professors words. She was feeling like a fool, it seemed as if she didn;t know anything which she didn't. It was hard to learn though, no one was helping her outside of class and the teachers all seemed to hate her. She sighed and continued to write things down.

Cassirin 08-06-2006 09:33 PM

"I like that definition, Stacy. Five for Hufflepuff. So we all are in agreement that it isn't just that they hurt people, but that they actively seek to hurt, not to survive or feed, but because they are created for that purpose." She paused. "I did say created. Dark creatures don't have a normal life cycle, as you've heard. They are created and exist to harm. So... is a dragon a Dark creature?"

roonilwazlib 08-06-2006 09:34 PM

"Red caps would also be a good example," Sean said. "They attack for fun. They do not attack for food or so they can live, just so they can keep their coats their red color."

LovelyLunaLovegood 08-06-2006 09:34 PM

Brianna raised her hand and said " no ".

HP_Fan_09 08-06-2006 09:35 PM

jewil decided to say somthing, "i belive that a dark Creatures will attack on impulse, but that the wizarding world belives that one speaceas is evil while another is not instead of a mixture as us humans are. The dark Creatures have a way of hidding from humans or attaicking when they come in, unlike nondark aniams wich dont mind you most of the time. I allso belive that Dark Creatures have a destigues look in there eyes that you can see in them if you look close enofe." Filling as if she answerd alittle late she sat in silence looking at her hands

roonilwazlib 08-06-2006 09:35 PM

"No, a dragon is not a dark creature, " said Sean, "They can be breeded to be dark, but are not born that way."

WhizzyBubbles 08-06-2006 09:36 PM

Alicia raised her hand "No, I dont think dragons are dark creatures" she said.

HP_Fan_09 08-06-2006 09:36 PM

Jewil thought about the dragons. "I dont belive that dragons are evil, but by your deffination they are evil."

GreenDayGirl9293 08-06-2006 09:37 PM

"No, I don't think they are. They're very dangerous, but that doesn't mean they're dark. It's just because they aren't trained. And, I don't think they're created." Nicole said, hoping her answer was right.

Graham5980 08-06-2006 09:37 PM

"No. Dragons are not created by wizards." Shane stated, loudly at first, but he quietened down, to not sound offensive.

roonilwazlib 08-06-2006 09:37 PM

Sean raised his hand and said again, " Most dragons are misunderstood creatures. They've been given a bad reputation, mostly by muggles. Yes, they can breathe fire. But they will only harm you if you harm them."

"Be careful... a werewolf is undeniably a Dark creature... in werewolf form. But when in man or woman form, he or she is not dangerous and should be treated with respect."

LadyNerd 08-06-2006 09:38 PM

Stacey gave a smile knowing that she did something right in class today. She then began to think about the next question. "No I don't believe so," she started and then continued. "They are dangerous but they do not attack for fun. They attack for protection of their territory."

Graham5980 08-06-2006 09:39 PM

"But what about Blast-ended Skrewts?" Shane asked.

WhizzyBubbles 08-06-2006 09:42 PM

"Thta means werewolves are dark creatures in wolf form, and normal in human" Alicia said proudly.
