Cassandra's eyes widened in disbelief... cookies? Granted she had only been in two other classes, but she liked the old Professor... this one felt like the History of Magic one.

As she took a cookie she tried to see if she could smell the Polyjuice Potion on this impostor's breath... but she smelled nothing.

Oh this was all to much for Brittany she called the kids sillybillies. Brittany decided that she was not going to eat that cookie. "Ummm .I not suppose to have sweets this early in the day so I'll just save it for later." Brittany said trying to smile a ginuwine smile but failing miserably. Brittany didn't know what was going on but she wanted to find out real soon.

secretlover101 08-11-2006 06:38 PM

"Sorry professor" Emily said quietly.
'I knew I was running late' Emily thought

Dru 08-11-2006 06:39 PM

Tabby was still worried about the professor. He knew that she'd been nice to him but being nice to everyone was unusual to say the least. About as unusual as owls hatching Pygmy Puffs.

Rosalie skipped into the room, braid bouncing off her back. She spotted Cassandra, she smiled, and took a seat next to her. Her next awareness of the classroom was the Professor giggling and offering students cookies. A look of sheer horror filled her eyes. Her most beloved Professor had obviously gone insane. Her jaw dropped, and no sound came out.

Meandering 08-11-2006 06:39 PM

If the professor noticed the odd looks, she showed no sign of it. She even twirled a little, letting the skirt fly out in a whirl of froth. "Today, we're going to have fun!" she declared with more pep than was strictly necessary. "We're going to learn how to cushion our sweet little behinds!"

She picked up the broomstick and flourished it before the class, smiling cheerily. "The cushioning charm is always used on broomsticks, it was invented by..." Smilingly, she inclined her head towards the class, hand cupping her ear theatrically. "Can I get an ANSWER?" she teased.

Cassandra quietly put her cookie on her desk and covered it with a sheet of parchment. If it was poisoned this was indeed her professor, but if it wasn't... well... she'd have some investigating to do.

Mafia Leader B 08-11-2006 06:42 PM

Her voice rang with worry when she answered, " Elliot Smethwyk."

Brittany Weasly 08-11-2006 06:42 PM

Brittany was to shocked to answer if she wanted to. she didn't know if this was some kind of trap or not so she decided to let the other kids have a go at the question first.

Droo 08-11-2006 06:43 PM

Cassandra's hand shot in the air and answered "It was invented by Elliot Smethwyk in 1820."

secretlover101 08-11-2006 06:43 PM

Emily raised her hand uncertainly.
"Was it Elliot Smethwyk?" she answered

Raider 08-11-2006 06:43 PM

Rave raised her hand, "Elliot Smethwyk in 1820 "

griffin_girl 08-11-2006 06:44 PM

GG raised her hand. "It was invented by Elliot Smethwyk..."

Droo 08-11-2006 06:45 PM

Cassandra beamed at Rosalie... so she wasn't the first Student with the answer... at least it was a Slytherin.

"That's right! Don't sound so miserable, sweetheart!" beamed Andi, her head to one side. "Five points to Slytherin - isn't that wonderful! And can anyone tell me what year this fantastic charm was invented?"

Granger1814 08-11-2006 06:46 PM

Serena raised her hand. "1820."

secretlover101 08-11-2006 06:46 PM

Emily raised her hand again.
"1820" she said

HP_Fan_09 08-11-2006 06:46 PM

Jewil looked around while sitting next to mia. She dident know the answer but she wrote down everything the class was saying.

Brittany Weasly 08-11-2006 06:46 PM

1820 Brittany replied

griffin_girl 08-11-2006 06:47 PM

GG raised her hand. "It was invented in 1820..." she answered.

Mafia Leader B 08-11-2006 06:47 PM

"It was invented in 1820 as Cassandra already said, but did you overdose on something professor?" Rosalie asked her uncertainly, her eyes every conveying her worry.

She looked at Rosalie, and braced herself for the Professor's true nature to come out.

Serena raised her hand. "1820."
"Excellent!" cheered the professor, almost dancing on the spot it seemed. "Can I get a 'BOOYAH'? Five points to Gryffindor." She beamed.

Brittany Weasly 08-11-2006 06:50 PM

Brittany heard the girls question to the professor and braced herself for the professor true nature to come out. At least she would feel better after the professor changed back to her normal self

secretlover101 08-11-2006 06:51 PM

Emily smiled and said a quiet Booyah.
'I was late again' she thought 'Oh well'
