Charms Class - Lesson Three
 

Unusually, the Charms class was empty as the first student arrived. There is something pleasant about the air of an empty class, though Professor Mao-Macdougal would put it down to the fact that there are no students in it; and the students might put it down to the fact that there is no Professor there.

However, there is a sweet smell wafting through the class, of baking cookies in addition to the normal rose-scent that the professor sometimes trails.

The table is set with a single broomstick of good quality, an almost unused Firebolt. It was all to easy to imagine Professor Mao-Macdougal sitting side-saddle, silhoutted by the moon as a black shape with flying skirts. In fact, it was all too easy to imagine her shoving a child into the oven to bake.

Brittany walked into the charms classroom. It was empty when she walked in so she just found her a seat and sat down.

GG entered the classroom and smelled the sweet scents about the air. she went and took a seat near the front and waited for her classmates to arrive.

Rave walked into Charms class and plopped into a chair near the front of the room.

Davina walked into the charms classroom and sat down in the second row.The first row was much too close to the professor.

Mia walked into her favourite lesson ready to get to work. She sat down at her usuall spot; the back of the room and took out her Charms book and wand.

Brittany watched as the other students came into the classroom she was very happy as they did to because she did not want to be left alone with the professor.

Rave grinned and whispered, "We'll check them after class alright?" She sat back in her chair and fiddled with her wand as they waited for the professor.

The door burst open and someone who looked like the professor bounced into the room. It couldn't possibly have been Andi. For one thing, she didn't bounce like a kid high on cuteness. And for God's sake - she didn't smile -

-- and she didn't hand out cookies --

--- but that was what she was doing anyway ---

Andi shot the class a bright cheery smile. There was something twanging in the air all around her, a sort of sustained aura - and if you could see it, it would have been the brightest pink, and the cheeriest yellow. Even her clothes today were different - instead of the dark colors she normall wore, her dress today was a pale, soft powder blue. It was quite nice - but she had only worn it because she hadn't managed to find anything... more... cheerful.

"Good morning, students!" she trilled. "Have a cookie?"

Brittany mouthed dropped as the professer came in.She didn't want to look rude so she quickly closed her mouth and took the cookie the professor offered but didn't eat it at that point of time. Brittany just stared at the Professor trying to figure out what in the world was going on.

Rave's jaw hit her desk as the professor bounded into the room. She took a cookie silently while trying to close her mouth. Glancing over at Tabby she jerked her head in the direction of the professor and gave him a look that said, "Whats with her?" Rave hoped it wasnt a potion, on this thought she began inspecting the cookie closely, the last thing she wanted was a repeat of two terms ago.

GG was a bit stunned. She had been in Hogwarts for six years now and she hadnt seen the professor like this.

The professor beamed, and then capered over to her desk like a professional squirrel. "Go on!" she said chirpily. "Eat up! It's not poisoned you know!" Then she giggled.

Mia was abit freaked out by the proffesors new personality 'maybe she's under an imperious curse she thought'

Davina gaped at the professor.Surely the cookiees with full of some sort of poison.She took one and examined it but didnt put it to her lips.She would watch what happened to everyone first.

Alex looked confused as Professor Mao-Macdougal walked into the classroom. "Are you feeling alright Professor?" Alex asked as she took a cookie.

Brittany couldn't help but have her mouth drop once more as she heard the Professor giggle. she also couldn't help herself asking."Professor are you feeling alright today." She said it very nice and respectable as she could.

Emily who had just walked into the charms classroom and saw the professor wearing....BLUE.
Emily dropped her jaw when she saw the professor handiing out cookies. Emily looked around the classroom at the other kids and saw there same expression. She wasnt imagingit. Emily took a seat in the middle of the classroom continueing to look at the professor.

GG, still stunned by the Professor's behavior, took a cookie.

It then hit Davina."Duh,shes on a charm.Looks like the professor used Cheering charms or something"she said more to herself than anybody."These cookies might have some in them"she said looking at the cookies as if it contained poison.

Mia was just about to eat her cookie but then 'This is Hogwart' she thought 'what if there is somthing in my cookie?'

Andi fixed the girl with a look that was reminiscent of her old self for about half a minute before breaking out immediately into a large grin. "Of course not!" she declared happily. "I'm juuuust fine. But thanks for asking!"

"Why, what's with all these people so worried about me?" The professor giggled a little. "Sillybillies! I'm perfectly alright. Do eat up!"

"You're a little late," smiled Andi sweetly. "But I'll let it pass just this one time, alright? Cookie?"
