| | |  Charms Class - Lesson One
Professor Mao-Macdougal was perched on the large teak desk of the Charms classroom. Her long skirts were hitched up, revealing a hint of boot. It had a heel. Further description of it would include the word: sharp. The professor wore her boots like they were weapons of mass destruction. Should she decide to step on anyone, blood would probably spatter the floor through a hole in the foot.
Beside her were two large books: The Unexpurgated Brothers' Grimm and How Not to Blow Yourself Up On The First Day. She was drumming her fingers across the books irritably as she waited for the first student to enter the class. Black hair shadowed her face, and her eyes were quick and bright like the glitter of knives.
OOC: It is possible that I might have to leave while the class is still going, in the event of that, keep chatting at a minimum. | |

Evan listened to the teacher's account of the tale versions, genuinely interested. The class sure was animated, and he was pleased to see that his housemates were doing a great job at answering the professor's questions. His head had not stopped throbbing, however, and he started to wish they were discussing something else rather than beheading and the likes. As a Gryffindor girl made a rather snappy retort, Evan eyed the teacher curiously, wondering as to the outcome of the lesson. Nicole was very happy with this teacher. She may be a bit..difficult at times, but she was very smart. She knew a lot of very interesting stuff, and Nicole took lots of notes. She was happy that she had decided to take this class.

"Oh, that was just a detail," said Andi with a shrug. "She was annoyed by the overlyamourous talking frog and flung it. Interestingly, she broke the charm. And what we are going to do today is this basic form of wandless magic. Please come forward and take one item."
