Nik flipped lazily through the book til he reached the page that was titled "The Frog Prince". He remembered the tale and smirked to himself, recalling the idiot princess.

Nick raises his hand. "With a kiss, I think. I heard many versions of this story."

Tag sank down in his chair, attempting to become invisible. He had a feeling that if Professor Mao-Macdougal had an aversion to public displays of idiocy, he may have blown it already.

Jordana raised her hand and said, "Professor didn't the Princess kiss the frog, and that is what broke the spell." not sure if that was right Jordana waited for her response.

Kalaya couldn't help but glance at Jordana when it was announced they'd lost points, although they quickly earned them back. As she heard the professor's directions she quickly pulled her book closer to her and flipped through the pages until she found the story. She knew the story well enough and wondered where the professor was going with this. As the professor continued she raised her hand. "The princess kisses the frog to break the charm," she answered.

Tasha raised her hand. " With a Kiss?" She answered the professor nervously.

Tia raised her hand. "She kissed him, of course, isn't that how every muggle fairy-tale ends?" She said carelessly, trying not to smirk. her hand swaying in the air. Inwardly, she grinned. How romantic could you get?

Sophia raised her hand and said, "With loves first kiss?"

"Incorrect," snapped Andi smugly. "A pity none of you actually bothered to read - or it is because you think fairy tales are just too babyish for the likes of you, hm?" Her eyes sparkled with glee as she continued her lesson, "The Grimm fairytales were not originally intended to be stories for children, they were an attempt by Wilhelm and Jakob Grimm to retain Germanic culture. Tag flinched at the descriptions of animal violence. Who in their right mind would throw a poor frog against a wall, he shuddered, thinking of his own frogs at home.

Rose shrugged off the Professor's first comment and shivered when she heard the bit about throwing the frog against the wall. How cruel they were to precious creatures! She twiddled her thumbs and waited for the professor to give out some useful information.

Kay sat in silence. She had not expected that to be the correct answer. She was sitting intently and taking notes furiously on everything the teacher said.

We were merely narrating what took place in one of the versions," she pointed out. "You really ought to have mentioned what version you were relating to," she added, shrugging, fully aware that she was in for a loss of more hosue points. But this time, she hadn't actually meant to annoy the Professor - It was something she really had wanted to point out, so she hadn't hesitated to.

Brittany's mouth drop when she saw how excited the professor was when she told the class about the wandless spell. Brittany thought "How could they do that to the poor animal.'

"Do you think she meant it intentionally though, if she had to say beforehand that she loved the frog prince and then she had only did it in a moment of anger, Professor, but what was anger caused by, you might think"

Stacey listened to the Professor speak of the violent ways of the princess to the frog and gave a crooked smile at the after effect of the story. She raised her hand to her mouth and gave a silent giggle towards the story. She was rather relieved of the non-mushy parts the episode contained and continued listening further to the teachings.

Nick listened, not saying a word until a question he knew was asked.
