Natalie arrived to the next Ancient Runes Class. She was surprised to see she was the first student there, when usually she was one of the last. She smiled at the professor, and took a seat at the front of the room for the first time.

"I wonder what were going to be learning today?" she asked Phoebe. She too noticed the Professor behind an enormous pile of books, and turned her attention to him waiting for the lesson to begin.

Single runes, as you probably know, can be used to make charms or amulets that one could wear on their person. But what about multiple runes strung together? Where might you find a runic string?"
