Rae hurried into the Great Hall and eyed the milling students. She hopped up on the dias and held up her hands. "Alright, students... if I could have your attention, please. I'm sure you're aware that something has occured in the Common Rooms. We're currently investigating the disruption and trying to figure out exactly what happened and what we need to do to get you back in there. For now, we'll ask that you sleep here in the Great Hall. Prefects and professors are on duty to make sure that you're safe and following the rules. Any professors who wish to assist in investigating may join me at the staff table."
She clapped her hands and a pile of plush purple sleeping bags appeared. | |

Dorinda, not knowing where her twin sister -McKinsey was located in the mess of purple plush just chose one. Hoping that the person she was by would not mind all too much, she scooted it over just a bit, it was a boy. How unpleasent. He was probably thinking she was a freak for sleeping by him. Oh well. Dorinda watched a girl with multi-colored hair, somewhat like Dorinda's herself, humming happily. She look nice enough, but Doe didn't want to just barge into their conversation. That would be just rude. The girl was too, a Gryffindor, she could see. But, she hadn't really seen her around the common rooms too much. No matter, maybe she just wasn't in there all too much...
Then a boy named Nic intrudeced himself. "Hey." She whispered to him. "I'm Dorinda. No, sorry. If my sister was still here, she would be able to tell us. I bet tcha. She was the prefect. " | |
