The Purple Sleeping Bag Thread

Rae hurried into the Great Hall and eyed the milling students. She hopped up on the dias and held up her hands. "Alright, students... if I could have your attention, please. I'm sure you're aware that something has occured in the Common Rooms. We're currently investigating the disruption and trying to figure out exactly what happened and what we need to do to get you back in there. For now, we'll ask that you sleep here in the Great Hall. Prefects and professors are on duty to make sure that you're safe and following the rules. Any professors who wish to assist in investigating may join me at the staff table."

She clapped her hands and a pile of plush purple sleeping bags appeared.

"Alright..." g_g said letting go of Whende. she watched her waddling over to Rosalie.

Lua attention then turned to patrolling "Oh your patrolling the night:" she asked determining whether she was joking or not. " You know i was thinking. Remember that poltergeist in the hallway, do you think she did all of that destruction in the common rooms. She was out of her mind you know" Lua added turning back and forth between the two girls.

Her brown eyes wandered over the students once more. She envied the masses who found it to be a joke. She was outright scared. What kind of psycho would do that to a school?! Any school, let alone Hogwarts.

She wanted answers. Who did this? Where was Alex? Was Solena alright? Are they just going to forget about this whole thing? Will they ever know who did it.

She squoze her eyes shut, and forced herself not to think.

"Oh my love, please don't cry. I'll wash my bloody hands and we'll start a new life..." Rosalie sang soflty, it was the first song that came to mind. One by a muggle band called Good Charlotte.

Whende walked over, her knees knocking together and her ankles almost collapsing on her way. "Alie," she said, tapping Rosalie's shoulder. "Please talk to me."

Whende did her best to sit down. "I haven't been around for a few days and I was, er, wondering if you could fill me in."

Kimmy went over to to where the sleeping bags were. she got one & pulled it over to a corner. she got in side & tried to sleep, but couldnt.she was wondering who thrashed the common rooms & why

g_g just looked at Whende and Rosalie. she felt bad. she always thought of Whende as a little sister, now her sister was hurt and she couldnt even do about it. she lay down in her sleeping bag. tears started rolling down her cheeks as they did in the halls. she tried to hide them by covering her face with her pillow.

"Something happened...someone destroyed the common rooms." She answered mechanicly, her eyes still shut. "What kind of sick psycho freak would do that to a school?" she demanded, her voice shaking. "I haven't seen Alex since it happened. What if he isn't ok? What if he was in his common room when it happened....or asleep...what if he isn't ok?" She babbled. "What about Solena? She...she was...was in...my dorm." Her voice broke and died.

"Whende I'm scared...." She whimpered, knowing she was being selfish, knowing it was her friend who needed help. Whende didn't hardly rememeber her last name.

Wow, I really did miss a lot. She gently rubbed Alie's back, glad that she hadn't sat on the other side, she couldn't use that arm. "But, maybe he was just hanging out on the grounds," Whende said, trying to be optimistic. She tried to think of something to say about Solena. "And Solena... What if they didn't even go into the dorms? I'm sure they're both okay."

Jacques looked up and saw that Victoria was dragging a sleeping bag over to him. He smiled as she sat down.

"You - scared? You always seem so composed..." he said, shrugging. He quite liked the idea of protecting girls from danger. His chest puffed out a little bit and he sat up a bit straighter.

"Th....ey aren't...I...can...t...tell..." She sobbed, struggling for words, she gave up before long, merely burrying her face in her arms, crying.

I almost want to go home... She thought, and cried all the more. I'm sorry Whende I'm sorry I'm such a baby.. She though desperately wishing Whende read minds.

g_g cried silently. she was thinking of Whende, the trashed common rooms, the riddle...and samea. "That's it!" she said removing the pillow from her face. she tried wiping her tears but they just kept pouring so she gave up. "Samea must have trashed the dorms so that we would think that the riddle IS a big deal!" g_g said to herself. she didnt care if anybody heard her or not.

Elijah walked side-by-side with Kay over to where the rest of the school was congregating. Surverying the area, Elijah noticed a few of their housemates huddled together, and in the distance he also saw Julia, whom he nodded and waved to.

"Right then," he said, turning to Kay. "Where to?" he asked.

He had to admit... his insides were doing complete flips on him, and he could have sworn he felt his cheeks flushing slightly.

Whende continued to silently rub Rosalie's back. She hummed one of her made up tunes again, it wasn't the same one as last time though. It was a much quieter, calmer one.

After several minutes had past she finally spoke. "You could always come lay with me and the others. If you don't want to then I could just stay here." Comfort comes in friends. the thought, she almost said it outloud.

"Whende please don't leave," Rosalie whimpered like a little child, then sniffled and wiped her nose on her arm, she briefly looked at Whende, then hid her face in her arms.

Despite her tears, broken voice, and shaking limbs, Rosalie's singing voice came out surprisingly even as she sang. "Late at night when all the world is sleeping, I stay up and think of you...and I wish on a star...that somewhere you are thinking of me too..."

She couldn't help but notice how happy Jacques actually was to see her. She grasped a piece of her hair and twirled it in her fingers. Victoria grinned as he went on about being composed.

"Me, composed? Usually I am, but did you see the common room. If they can do that to a big old common room, they can do so much more to little old me." When Jacques had puffed out his chest ever so slightly she finally notice he had no shirt on, only a singlet. She couldn't help but admire his body form and blushed. She looked away and tucked a her bangs behind her ear. "So you'll protect me?" she asked innocently.

Lori rolled her eyes and grinned. "Yes you are. You should see the look on your face. It practically says, 'I want my Evan'" she teased. When she heard her next sentence, she shrugged innocently and said, "Things change, and . . . well, he's not such a bad guy,"

She then groaned and said, "Do you have to? There are plenty more prefects and teachers out there! Stay here with us! This is sort of a slumber party."

She giggled when she saw Lua teasing her. "Hey! That's not true. I was so not all over him. He was practically stalking me! But that was long ago," she said as she stuck her tongue out as well.

"I'm not leaving," she whispered. As strange as it felt to be comforting a girl that was probably quite a few months older than herself, it gave her a sense of... she wasn't really sure, but it was an intersting feeling.

She kept humming, her voice conflicting with Rosalie's. She was singing more to herself now though.

g_g lay back down. she thought of Samea. "If she's the one who did this..." she said, tears rolling down her cheeks...it was as if she was drowning. she was mad at Samea...but she still wasnt sure if it was her....she felt like she was really drowning. she started coughing...

"Yeah the common room did look pretty trashed. I hope they didn't touch my guitar - They'll be dead meat if they did. I wonder who did it..." he said, drifting off a bit.

He looked to the side and thought he saw Victoria looking at his chest and arms. Those extra workouts were a good idea.. he thought to himself.

"Of course I will, as much as i am able to. I'm sure the professor's will figure it all out soon enough" he said reassuringly.

Eventually Rosalie stopped singing, and listened to Whende.

"Thanks..." She whispered, sounding much more calm than she had moments before.

Little did the rest of the room know, her insides ached. She felt like her heart had been torn from her chest. She wanted to know that everyone was ok. She wanted answers, she wanted to be happy again.

g_g tried to clear her throat. cough,cough.cough...then she just coughed every now and then....but nothing could stop the tears.

Falas and Zekk took a sleeping bag each and went to find a spot. She spotted her friends not far away. Taking Zekk's hand, she started to walk towards them. "Hey guys !! I finally found Zekk" she giggled. "Mind if we stay with you lot ?"

Whende tried to keep her song going, it seemed to be making Alie calmer. "A song will brighten the day... So carry a happy tune, a cheerful tune, a merry tune. Carry a joyful--."

She suddenly looked up. G-g was coughing on the other side of the room. She felt torn; she couldn't leave Rosalie, but g_g might need help... She started panicing a bit. "g_g, are you okay?" Whende was hardly speaking loud enough for herself to hear, so there was probably no way that g_g could.

Lua put her tongue out more then replied "It didn't look that way, your lips were glued to his. The librarian had to unglue them for you" laughing hard as she snapped her hands apart demonstrating how the librarian unglued them. "Sorry Lori but I couldn't resist that one" Lua added patting Lori's sholder

Victoria nodded, "it was horrible. I'd never seen something that bad. I kind of went Wacko for a few minutes." She blushed at the remembrance of it. "No help to Lua. But then I became all composed as you said."

She grinned, "oh you'll do lovely. I mean the professors will be protecting all of us, I just get double the protection." She poked him in the chest playfully, "and anyways. Your a big tough guy, just in case they don't figure it out."
