The Purple Sleeping Bag Thread

Rae hurried into the Great Hall and eyed the milling students. She hopped up on the dias and held up her hands. "Alright, students... if I could have your attention, please. I'm sure you're aware that something has occured in the Common Rooms. We're currently investigating the disruption and trying to figure out exactly what happened and what we need to do to get you back in there. For now, we'll ask that you sleep here in the Great Hall. Prefects and professors are on duty to make sure that you're safe and following the rules. Any professors who wish to assist in investigating may join me at the staff table."

She clapped her hands and a pile of plush purple sleeping bags appeared.

"Okay, bye then," Erin said, smiling and Pauline and Sebastian. She skipped off to the tables, feeling very happy and energized from her extremely long sleep.

Lo curled up as she closed her eyes drifting off to sleep. "cree?" she said quietly.

"How come you don't call me Lo like everyone else?" she asked. It was a question she had wanted to ask since the first week they had met, but figured maybe it was just because they had just met. Now it had almost been 3 months.

Cree smiled to himself. He knew he would have to explain himself sooner or later. "Well, there are two reasons. One is because I think that nicknames should be special names between people the one makes up for the other. That way it's more special. And the other reason I may tell you someday, just not tonight. Now get some sleep, you felt like you had a fever earlier and nobody likes to be around a sicky," he replied.

Lua began to get annoyed by all the laughing, it was really not funny. Nik was hurt, and these two finding it amusing, she rolled her eyes at them and waited to determine the end of it.

Lua couldn't believe what just came out of Fran, she watched her as she walked away confused as to why she said something as mean as that. Lua wasn't sure if she should run after Fran or not, instead she shrugged and gave Nik a confused look.

Sebastian had fallen asleep, his hand partially in his sleeping bag, using his hand as a partially comfortable pillow. He woke up and realizing that Pauline was asleep, quietly got out of his bag and walked over to one of the tables, before apting to go stretch his legs. He needed it.

Crystal was hanging around the Great Hall, reading up on Charms and History when she spotted Sebastian walking around rather aimlessly. " Hey Sebastian. How's it going?" she asked.

Edd scanned the hall for any empty sleeping bags when serilda pointed to of a pair to there left. "sure" he said wading through the sea of purple.

when he finally reached the designated pair of plushy sleeping bags. Edd got in one of them andlaid down on the suprisy soft floor. "must've had a softness charm put on it." he said lightly punching the floor and watching his hand sink into the floor.

*Madame Rowena walks down a row of purple sleeping bags and tells a nearby group to quiet down so that others can sleep. Afterward, she paces slowly up and down the aisles*

*Mickey begins to thrash about causing his hammock to rock. He moans in his sleep.*

"Azkaban, he's in AZKABAN!"

Jessica brushed off the golden streaks that lined her forehead. They looked queer, she thought as she gazed at her distorted reflection in the rather glassy floor. She was lying down now, the soft sleeping bag enveloping her. She couldn’t’ sleep. She sat up, half lying half sitting and looked around. Chatting was being kept to a minimum, she could see that. She tried to think of who could have caused the chaos, but she couldn’t. She tried to so hard, but her mind felt like a jelly right now. So did her legs. She felt dizzy.

Someone screamed. She spun around, only to see Mickey. She hadn’t spotted him earlier. She wondered why that was so.

“Mickey,” she said softly, wondering if he was awake or not. Probably not ,she told herself. She felt like a moron.

Ebony quietly walked back into the Great Hall. As she headed over to her sleeping bag she heard someone moving around and talking in their sleep. Ebony walked over to see who it was. It was a boy she saw in the hallway last night. He's having a nightmare. Ebony thought I wonder it I should wake him up. Making up her mind she shook the boy. "Hey wake up."

Jessica was surprised that Mickey had registered her. She smiled. She hadn’t expected him to, not in such a….errr… drowsy state. “Long time, no see,” she said slowly as she watched him struggle a bit. He didn’t seem properly awake, but at least he was talking.

“Bad night?” she asked, still watching. “I can’t believe this is happening. It seems so exciting, and still so dull.”

She felt strange – as though her soul was on fire with excitement, but still she felt a strange dullness over her – Strangely incredible to say, she was bored.

*He rubs his chin.*

Transt then walked back to Lori, but didn't crawl into his sleeping bag. He, instead, placed himself clost to Lori's back. "Why the sudden change?" he wispered in her ear...

Lori felt a tingle on the crok of her neck only to find Transt breathing down on it. She blearily opened one sleepy eye and said, "What? Aren't you liking it? I mean, if you don't like the change, just say so."

She then gave him a sheepsih grin and rolled back off to sleep.

Jessica stared at Mickey, mouth slightly open. She knew it couldn’t be true – It was some sort of nightmare. But Mickey was always so intriguing. She reached out an arm to pat his shoulder.

“You had a nightmare, Mickey,” she assured him as he finally began to focus on Ebony and her. But even as she said so, a desire for excitement grabbed her. She wanted it to be true, and suddenly she found herself believing his story. Then she shook herself – Why was she transforming into someone so unstable? At least, that si what she thought of herself. She took a deep breath.

“Just a nightmare,” she said firmly.

Ebony had only heard a little about the ledendary trio because she was muggle born she didn't know much. She wonder what the guards were, but she didn't want him to talk about it if he didn't want to. "Like Jessica said it was just a dream."
