The Purple Sleeping Bag Thread

Rae hurried into the Great Hall and eyed the milling students. She hopped up on the dias and held up her hands. "Alright, students... if I could have your attention, please. I'm sure you're aware that something has occured in the Common Rooms. We're currently investigating the disruption and trying to figure out exactly what happened and what we need to do to get you back in there. For now, we'll ask that you sleep here in the Great Hall. Prefects and professors are on duty to make sure that you're safe and following the rules. Any professors who wish to assist in investigating may join me at the staff table."

She clapped her hands and a pile of plush purple sleeping bags appeared.

Pt still couldn't find anyone she knew so she headed over to a secluded corner and lowered herself down onto a sleeping bag. She wasn't in the least tired, she was just a bit scared cause she didn't know what was going on and she didn't know where her friends were. She sighed, and lifter her purple eyes to the celing and looked at the stars.

Crystal looked up and smiled at the Hufflepuff boy. " No problem...It's a fantasy novel about a witch and wizard who must travel to defeat an evil goblin...it's part of a set. I was trying to read them all, but then the common room was thrashed." she shrugged.

Kali walked through the Great Hall and picked up a sleeping bag. She definetely preferred the cozy Ravenclaw Common Room. She noticed two of her friends in the distance so decided that if she was going to be sleeping in proximity of everyone else, at least it could be with her friends.

"Hey," Kali said as she put down her sleeping bag and other belongings with her beside where Kay and Elijah were, "Mind if I be by you guys?"

She then sat down on the sleeping bag, which actually wasn't a horrible color. She then muttered, not noticing whether Kay and Elijah heard or not, "Or am I going to be absorbed in uber-couple adorable-ness of you guys?"

"That sounds like a fun book" Hi, I'm James, James Churchill III, first year." " Do you think we are in any danger?" He hoped this girl's answer could calm his nerves.

Whende found herself being pulled back toward the hospital wing. She let out a quiet yelp as she tried to wave good-bye to her friends.

Not getting an answer, James assumed the girl had fallen asleep. So he laid back and stared at the beautiful stars in the Great Hall's ceiling, trying not to wary about what was going on at school.

"Whende!" g_g screaned getting up. "Wait! where are you taking---stupid question!" g_g said hurrying to catch up with Whende and the nurse.

"Good," Kali said as she took off her shoes and crawled into her sleeping bag as well then gave Kay a small smile, "Not like I would've left if you said otherwise."

She sighed and glanced around at the others, some like herself, already in their sleeping bags.

Crystal, who was prone to day-dreaming, even though it was night, forgot to answer the boys question. " oh...sorry about that! I must've dozed off...Nice to meet you , James Churchill the III. I'm Crystal Ball, the one and only. " she laughed. She thought about his question a bit before answering. " Well, I don't believe we're in any immediate danger, not with all the staff around. I wouldn't worry too much."

Rosalie sat there in slience, listening to Whende and Dorinda talk. She smiled when Whende brought up her music composition, and giggled. "Oh that I could..." She agreed, and smiled, relaxing against the wall.

Before long, the convorsation turned. The started analysing the common room fiasco. One comment Whende made got her attention.

"But that would just leave Professors, unless you know of someone else who knows all the passwords." She had said. It seemed as if a light had came to life in her head.

The previous night, while heading off to go find herself a sleeping bag, she passed by the Staff table, and heard them talking. About a riddle, about a former Professor. Kobus did they say? She asked herself, her brow furrowing.

"What if..." She began, when whende stood up, heading off to the hospital wing.

Franticly, Rosale jumped to her feet, and headed to the waiting room to see if she was alright.

"Crystal, that s a beautiful name. I thought you were asleep, that's why i didn't bother you anymore" I guess you are right the staff wouldn't let anything wrong happening to the students" He kept repeating that line in his mind trying to convince himself of what Crystal had just said.

Davina watched the professors converse at their table.She resolved to the fact that waasnt going to sleep

" Oh, well thank you..." she said. " Yep, I'm pretty sure they'll take care of us. And I know if something did happen, I know a fair amount of magic, being a fourth year and all. If it came down to it, I could defend myself, I suppose. I don't think I'll need to use any though."

"Good night Crystal" James tried to fall asleep, now that the Ravenclaw girl sort of assured him that nothing wrong could happen to them, as long as the staff was aware of what was going on. He laid back, closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Seeing that the young boy had finally fallen asleep, Crystal decided to go back to her reading. She had only been reading about five minutes when her eyelids started drooping and she noticed she was reading the word " snorlbeast" over and over. She yawned, then muttered " Nox,' to extinguish her light. As soon as her head hit the pillow, she was asleep, her wand and book tucked inside her sleeping bag.

Davina slowly began to drift to sleep.She snuggled her face unto her pillow and was in dream land within minutes.

Alyssa closed her eyes and rifted off in to a lifeless state. She always slept dead.

Jordana opened her eyes and lay still for a moment. She sat herself up and saw Ajay, Alex, and Amber. But she noticed that Whende's and Rosalie's sleeping bags were empty. "I wonder where they went." she thought to herself. She looked around and didn't see them anywhere. She sat up and stretched her arms up above her head.

Everything seemed calm. Hopefully nothing crazy would happen. Hopefully this whole mess would be solved so that they could go back to their common rooms.

Jordana swung her legs out of her sleeping bag and sat down indian style. She grabbed her bag and began to look through it. "Oh...no...oh no....please tell me its in here." she said to herself as she quickly looked through her bag.

Zekk fidgets around with his sleeping bag. He was mad about the color, not even blue for ravenclaw. He pulls out his wand and shrinks a sleeping bag for plum, he doubts anyone will even notice. He does notice that Falas and her friends have been talking while he was just sitting there staring into space.
"Well, umm, purple, yeah.. great color for sleeping bags." He says trying to sound like he's been paying attention.

Falas was having a nice time talking to her friends. She turned back to Zekk who said something about the sleeping bags. "Yeah, purple is so not my color" she said giggling slightly. She looked down and noticed a small sleeping bag, just the right size for Plum. "Is that for Plum ?" she asked him. Smiling, she took Plum from her shoulders and put down on the sleeping bag. "Aaaaw... Look at him !! How cute..."
Falas hold Zekk's hand and smiled at him. She was so happy just to be able to be with him. She leaned her head on his shoulder and just stared into space.

Zekk grins. "Of course its for Plum! He has to sleep too, can't have you rolling on to him in the middle of the night!" He tells her. He pats her on the head. He then proceeds to pat Plum on the head, but since his hand is too big, he pets the entire sleeping bag.

Falas laughed at Zekk's comment. "Hey, he's been sleeping with me since the first time you transfigured him. He's pretty much alive to me" she giggled. "Dont worry, he's used to sleeping with me, I'm not gonna squish him" she giggled even more.

Amber sat up, hearing Jor rummaging through her bag. "Jor, what's up?" she asked, rubbing her chocolate eyes and brushing loose strands of her now stringy strawberry-gold hair behind her tiny white ears.
