Whende smiled and mouthed 'any time' back at Amber. Then she rolled onto her back to stare at the ceiling again.

"Near death... who are we talking about?"

Alex looked over to Ajay. "no mate" he whispered to him, he had a worried look.

He pulled his hand back to himseld and he looked at Amber, Whende and Jor. he felt like the group was trying so hard to not tell him something. He gave out a little snort "it wasnt so bad Amber" he said and grinned. "you were there to save me"

he looked at the rest and suddenly "Amber" he whisper. "mind if i talk to you for a sec?" he asked.

"i have been thinking about something at home, some bad happen" Ajay said trying not to think about it.

"Woah, I'm confuzzlated! I think I missed something that nobody's telling me about," Whende said, trying to roll onto the wrong side. She groaned and tried the other side.

Amber nodded at Alex. Her mouth was all dry. "Sure you can." she agreed, her insides squirming around and her head spinning really fast. "What did you want to talk about?" she whispered.

Jordana didn't know what was going on, and the tension was starting to make her nervous. She parted her hair and began to braid it in to two pigtails. "So...Whende your arm isn't broken is it?" she asked as she braided one side of her hair.

Alex heard Whende groan. "when.. are you alright?" he asked checking if she had hurt her self

"I, er, I don't actually know. I just remember falling out of the tree and then waking up in the hospital wing with a swollen arm," Whende said, fiddling with her multi-colored hair.

She turned toward Alex, "Yeah, why?"

Alex turned to look at Amber. "great" he said and smiled.

he turned to whende "tell me what happened later kays?" he said to her and stood up. "she broke her hand!!" a voice said in his head but he ignored it.

"i think we better go somewhere for this" he said to Amber and held out his hand to help her up. "but thats if you want to" he pulled his hand back in "you decide" he grinned.

Amber nodded dumbly again. "Okay," she said, taking Lex's hand with her trembling one; "Let's go then. Where?"

"ok then, i will stay here, have a great walk" Ajay said with a smile on his face, hoping that his friends would work this out.

Alex gave out a sigh. Relieved that she agreed to his offer, or else he would have looked like a fool standing up in a hall of students.

"the hall?" he suggested.

"So," Whende said, very slowly and drawing out the word. She rolled onto her stomach, stretching her arm into the empty space now infront of her. She slowly kicked her legs back and forth in the air as she started to hum.

"The House Table, maybe? Agreed. Let's go." Amber smiled, voice shaking along with the rest of her.

Nic heard someone lay down beside him. He looked over and saw that it was a girl. He was bored and didn't feel like going to sleep. Nic knew the common rooms were attack, but thats was all. "Hey" he whispered to her, hoping that she wasn't asleep. "My name is Nic. I was wondering it you knew what happened to the common rooms."

"are you right there" Ajay said trying not to get kicked by Whende.

Dorinda watched a girl with multi-colored hair, somewhat like Dorinda's herself, humming happily. She look nice enough, but Doe didn't want to just barge into their conversation. That would be just rude. The girl was too, a Gryffindor, she could see. But, she hadn't really seen her around the common rooms too much. No matter, maybe she just wasn't in there all too much...

Then a boy named Nic intrudeced himself. "Hey." She whispered to him. "I'm Dorinda. No, sorry. If my sister was still here, she would be able to tell us. I bet tcha. She was the prefect. "

"Right where?" Whende asked, sliding over a bit so she wouldn't hit Ajay. She pulled a piece of parchment from her pocket and started unfolding it. "I don't believe I still have this," the mumbled.

Jordana watched Amber and Alex as they walked away. She starred at them until they were out of sight. She tied the hair tie on one of her finished braids, and turned to Ajay and Whende and said, "Ok....what the devil is going on? What's wrong with Amber? And why was everyone acting all weird when Alex showed up?" Hoping that they would tell her all Jordana could do was wait for their response.

"it's hard to explain" Ajay said looking at them.

"Erm well..." Whende said, stuffing the parchment under her pillow. "I guess Amber kind of... really likes Alex and she got all upset when she found out he liked Rosalie. So then she got really nervous and I got weird so I could try to take the attention off of her," she explained.

"Oh! This is just great. I only been here for two day and bad things are already happening." Nic said.

"what she said" Ajay said happy that someone said it instead of him.
