"Its great that you'll have each other." Nic said. "And if you every need someone to talk to you can alway come to me."

Amber walked back to her sleeping back with Alex. "hey guys," she smiled somewhat sadly. There was a strange emptiness in her eyes, but she was smiling nonetheless, and there was a little bit of genuine quality to her grin. "What's up?"

"Erm, nothin'" Whende said. She slid into a comfortable position and closed her eyes. "I'm listening," she said reassuredly.

Jordana saw that Amber was back and she was happy to see her. She waved to her and said, "Like Whend said nothing."

Amber nodded. "'Kay. I'm okay... I think. In case you were wondering." Amber grinned.

"Mhm," Whende muttered softly. "Nothin..."

Jordana smiled at Amber. She knew something was wrong because Amber's eyes were different. Even though it was dark and she couldn't see well, Jordana could tell that their usual liveliness and sparkle was gone. Jordana wanted to talk to her but knew that now wasn't a good time.

Harry picked up a sleeping bag.."PURPLE"..he thought..he was trying to find some place to keep his sleeping bag..when he saw amber and alex

"that is great, are you and Alex friends still" Ajay said

Amber nodded. "Always will be, no doubt about that. Always friends..." she smiled sadly, her voice trailed off again. "Harry!" she laughed, spotting Harry Riddle. "Hi! How are you. CCome on over here!" she suggested.

Harry replied.."hey amber..how are you..".."i'll just come"..uhh this stupid bag he thought making his way to amber and her Gang!!

Jordana looked over at the boy that Amber was talking to and she smiled. "He looks familiar." she thought to herself.

Amber smiled. "Cool Harry. Jordana, Whende, Alex, this is Harry, I met him at the Lake the other day. Harry, this is Jordana, Whende and Alex. And you and Ajay met the other day, remember?" she asked politely.

"Hi Harry." Jordana said to him as Amber introduced him to everyone. Jordana saw that Amber looked a bit happier which was a good thing.

"i met alex yesterday at the lake"..harry told amber.."anyways hi alex,jordana,whende"..im feeling really sleepy..as he goes into his bag and sleeps..

Amber laughed as Harry drifted off to sleep. "Night!" she smiled at Harry. "Amber... now I can tell you what's been happeneing. Alex asked Rosalie out and she said yes. I overheard it and it almost killed me. Just now, he told me he found out that I liked him. And I told him exactly how much I liked him. And he loves Rosalie. He didn't freak out when I told him that I loved him, but I don't think there's a chance for us." she finished.

Jordana listened to Amber and her mouth dropped as she listened to what Amber was telling her. Jordana didn't know what to say, she felt so bad that she hadn't been there for her when she needed someone to lean on most. "Oh..Amber, I...I don't know what to say. I'm sorry." Jordana bit her lip and looked away. She gathered her thoughts and tried to make sense of what Amber was telling her.

Jordana new how much Amber cared for Alex. And it was awful to see her torn apart by the whole Rosalie/Alex fiasco. "Amber....at least you're still friends?" Jordana said to her as she gave her a reassuring smile. Jordana knew that nothing she could say would make Amber feel better, but she tried all the same. She leaned in close to Amber and covered her mouth with her hand and whispered in her ear, "Its only our first year, and besides its not like they are going to get married or anything. The year has just begun and....well, a lot can happen." She pulled away from Amber and put her hand on her shoulder, "Trust me, its not the end of the world."

Amber nodded. "I know. Until, if ever, he asks me out, there's no-one else."

Solitaire quickly began to sleep.

Lola grabbed a sleeping bag,"Cool i love the color purple." Lola said smiling. Then she sat down on the sleeping bag and looked around for someone to play exploding snap with,"Does anyone wanna play exploding snap?" She asked in a normal voice.

Rosalie groaned and rolled over. Her back ached from sleeping on the hard floor all night. She missed her bed. Her pajamas. Her kitten. Her head was throbbing, she vaguely remembered her crying and ranting to Whende the night before, but couldn't recal what she had been saying.

Is this what a hangover is like? She thought misserably, and groaned again as she sat upright. With one unsteady hand, she reached up to rub her swollen eyes.

Sleeping a few people away, was Alex. Immediatly, relief flooded her body, her muscles loosened, and she momentarily flopped backwards into her makeshift bed. Thank god... She though with a monumental sigh of relief.

Carefully, Rosalie steped over Whende, Jordana, Ajay, and crouched down next to Alex. Next to his unconsious figure, was Amber. Rosalie fought the beast that was clawing to the surface, the beast that wanted dearly to claw Amber's eyes out.

Squeezing her eyes tightly shut, Rosalie sucked in a deep breath, and calmed herself. You know he wouldn't do anything. Calm down. You don't have to like her, but trust him at least. She coached herself irritably, on the inside, she felt like a basalisk. Rip, tear, kill, BLOOD!

Once the monster was propperly locked away, she brushed some hair from Alex's closed eyes, and pressed a kiss to his cheek.

I'm glad your alright love.... She thought, and came to her feet, heading over to the Slytherin Table for some breakfast.

Blushing at him kissing her hands, Nik was always very smooth with his charm and behavior around girls, she blinked and stared at his sleeping bag instead as she replied "Maybe" and sticking her tongue slightly at him.

"Yea alright" Lua replied watching Nik lay down. Lua looked around the great hall, most of the students were wide awake deep in conversations and speculations. Bringing her knees close to her body she wrapped her hands around them and laid her head gently on both knees. "I don't think anyone will be able to sleep tonight" She sighed to herself.
"Do you think they might send us home" Lua asked curiously keeping her eyes fixed on Nik. She really was accumulated to the school and didn't want to return to her father's stern grips.

Algamus wandered among the sleeping bags littering his clean floor in the Great Hall with a vial of wizard disinfectant in his hand. Every now and then he sprinkled a bit on an open piece of floor. This was so unsanitary, he wasn't sure if the Hall would ever be the same, much less the common rooms that he was itching to get back into. He sighed and continued to clean the best he could.
