*Madame Rowena steps up onto the front desk platform and sits down on the tall wooden front desk stool. She arranges her color-changing glasses on her nose and lights the green desk lamp with a wave of her wand. She wears a glowing smile during all of these actions*

"Hello students and staff. How may I help you today? Do you need help finding a book? Getting some new textbooks for the term? Need recommendations for some good books to read? Just tell me what you need I am, of course, here to serve you as your librarian."

Phoebe walked in nervously" Hello. What do you suggest to learn more about the wizarding world for a muggleborn?" Now Phoebe could learn all the magic things everyone else knew.

"Hello Phoebe, it is a pleasure to meet you. Don't feel apprehensive as there are many muggle-born students here at Hogwarts. In not time you will be calling this place home. In the meantime, feel free to ask me any questions you may have, I would love to help. However, I would make sure you read The Comprehensive Guide to Living in the Wizarding Community, it will have everything you need to know. The sports, what is popular, terms that people use and a directory to the magical places in the world. It will give you essential information so that you can feel more comfortable in our community," states Madame Rowena.

Her red hair knotted into a business-like bum at the back of her head, Jessica walked in the Library, her gold streaks hanging down in front of her, trailing down her wide forehead, and falling into her turquoise eyes. She strode across the Hall, purposefully, and stopped right in front of the Front Desk, where the Librarian sat, talking to a younger girl.

"Excuse me, madam," she said respectfully, in a clear voice, casting a glance of longing at the books piled all around her. "I happen to be searching for a book on Botany for my Herbology Class. Can you please tell me where I may find one of those?"

She paused, wondering whether she should add how glad she would be to have any suggestions about which book to read, but stopped herself from saying so for some unknown reason.

Sophie walked into the library calmly and hoped she could find the book on charms and spells she wanted so she could pratice her spells and charms. She went upto the desk where madam rowena was sitting and she smiled as she approached. "Um excuse me madam rowena? Can you help me find a book that I need for my studies? I need a first year charms and spell book" Sophie said not feeling nervous at all. That made a change...

*Madame Rowena finishes with Phoebe's request before turning her attention to Jessica and Sophie who are both waiting patiently*

"For a good Quidditch text, there is always the ever-comprehenseive Quidditch Through the Ages but another good text is the Encyclopedia of Quidditch. Also, the number of texts on magical animals, one of the best being Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Be sure to check out bookshelf F10 for more on that area as well," informs Madame Rowena and she signs the texts out for Phoebe with the tip of her wand.

*Jessica is up next*

"Well, Hello Jessica. You made two excellent recommendations in the book club the other day. You stated everything in such a comprehensive and captivating manner, well done. However, I see that you are here for a Botany text. I would suggest The Wonderful World of Herbology and The Guide to Magical Plants. If you would like to browse other texts in this area, bookshelf R4 is dedicated to this topic," she says while scanning and handing the text over to Jessica.

*Sophie walks up to the front desk next*

"It's nice to meet you Sophie. As for a first year charms texts, one that students have used in the past for their studies is Simply Charming and The Standard Book of Spells: Level One," she states while signing them out for Sophie.

*Madame Rowena waves goodbye to Phoebe first*

"Have a good day!"

*Madame Rowena patiently listens to Oja's request and nods her head*

"In fact, somebody just returned a copy of Quidditch Through the Ages," she says while walking over to the book return bin. She does a wave of her wand over the bin and the text flies out quickly into her hands. Madame Rowena walks back over and hands it to Oja. "Here you are, just return it when you are finished."

"Hmmm," Madame Rowena ponders, "muggle or wizard? Because I know that Charles A. Lindbergh was the first person to fly solo across the Atlantic," she states. "It might be best to ask somebody else who has more knowledge in this area.

"That I'm not completely sure, but this text entitled The History of Flying," says Madame Rowena pushing one towards Oja, "has a whole section on wizarding expeditions. That would be good place to look to answer your question." she states.

Edaj visited the library before heading off to the common room. she scanned some of the shelves about animals and grabbed one, then headed up to the desk. "Excuse me, ma'am? yes, umm... i would like to check this book out, and, what is your recommendation on a good book on magical animals? i've decided to help out in the Magical Creature Hospital, and i would like to know more about the animals i'm helping. do you know where i could find one?"

To help increase your knowledge I would suggest The Comprehensive Guide to Magical Creature Care," she states while signing that book and the other text Edaj brought to the front desk. "Best of luck working with the creatures Ejad, let me know how it goes."

*Dana is next*

"We happen to have book on both the topics of Animagi and Drawing. They are called Magical Metamorphosis: Becoming Animagi, and Magical Drawing Skills," she states while signing them out of Dana with the tip of her wand. "Here you are and just return them when you are finished."

Nikky walked up to the Front Desk with a book tucked under her arm."Um...Excuse me,I was wondering if I could check out this book, and, if you had any books on unusual magical items."She said really quietly.

"Hello Nikky, it's nice to meet you," she says while scanning the book that Nikky hands to her. "As for texts on magical objects there is Magical Oddities and Trinkets and A Collectors Guide to Magical Paraphernalia," states while scanning those texts out for Nikky as well.
