A solid block of polished oak sits flat against the floor in the center of a stone walled window-less room. It is the desk. Nothing can get under or inside it.

A silver framed portrait of a pack of wolves in a sunny forest is hung on the wall above a wooden trunk encrusted with dirt which sits behind the simple desk. On the side of the dirty wooden trunk is the easily recognized Hogwarts Crest.

The only light in the small room comes from a two sets of thick purple candles on either side of the wooden desk, causing the room to have a haunted feeling.

In one corner sits a broom, a recent model of the Comet brand. It looks nearly brand new except for a few tufts of dirt on the bristles.

In another corner is a shabby wooden crate covered with an old slytherin school robe. Several glittering chains encase the entire crate. They vibrate as if under an enchantment.

In front of the simple desk is a squat black leather couch. Behind the desk is un uncomfortable looking wooden stool.

Finally, a tall shelf resides against the wall next to the mysterious crate.

On the shelf are small silver frames filled with pictures of what appears to be former students. One of them shows the Professor with some others waving, on what looks like the school train. Another shows the Eiffel tower in the background and a tall long haired boy smiling. In another picture shows another boy glaring. Obviously not wanting his picture taken, his dark eyed stare penetrates the room. On the shelf above these are two more frames, both a deep green. In one of the deep green frames is a young girl with tall hair. Her orange robes stand out against the dark background of the picture, she waves encouragingly. The final deep green frame is filled with a picture of a thin older man, nearly bald, with fancy glittering robes and many gold rings on. His right hand makes a series of odd movements over and over again. The glass of the frame is cracked horrible at the top left coner, as if it fell or was thrown once. A thick photo album sits on the second shelf beside a jar of rat spleens.

Professor Ganymede Craft stands near the mysterious crate, her hands rummaging underneath the old school robe that covers it, not once affected by the enchanted chains.

Edaj laughed as Elisa just had points taken away. she leaned her head back against the wall and sighed, waiting for the door to open and so she'd be allowed in.

Lee watched as Linny had entered the office of Professor Ganymede, aka her cousin. Lee returned the smile his best friend have him. She had brought other company with her, Julia, another Ravenclaw. He gave the girl a short smile also and returned to face Gany. He waited for Linny and Julia to start, his could wait. The more he kept this thing to himself the better.

Rave was gasping for breath by the time she arrived at Ganymede's Office door, she had run from the common room at top speed and took a moment to catch her breath.
She straightened up and knocked urgently on the door, clutching the piece of parchment in her pocket.

Linnea nodded, smiled at the wolves in the picture, mildly wondering if they were her grandparents, or if Gany had simply bought the picture as a way to remind her of home.

She gave a moment's pause to figure where to start, then figured that Gany was her cousin and Lee was her friend so she needn't keep secrets from them.....though she couldn't figure why it needed to be secret.

"You see, Gany, I found a slip of parchment in the common room that said to look for Pheobe's light, so I went to Lainey to see if she knew a student named Pheobe, and she said the only Pheobe she knew was Professor Phoenix. I'm just looking for any information on her, I suppose."

Lee raised an eyebrow as his friend talked about a piece of parchment which she had found in her Common Room. He decided it was probably his turn to but in, "eemmmm well I found a note in my Common Room too..." Lee said shiftly. Trust Linny to find the Ravenclaw clue Lee thought to himself.

Linnea blinked. She had no idea there were any other notes out there, then she laughed. "Trust us to be the ones to find the strange things out there, eh Lee?"

She paused again, "I don't know if we should compare notes, or try to figure out how they got there first. I'm a bit suspicous if both of our houses got them right after that attack on them..."

Julia looks from Linnea, to Lee, to Gany, to her pocket full of carrots, then back at Linnea. After a moment or two of just listening to her and Lee, she decides that her partner will do all the talking. She straightens her Bugs Bunny Cape and takes out her blue notebook, and begins taking notes on the situation for future reference.

"Samea" Novalus called down the hallways but he noticed he was coming up to Professor Craft's and a familiar sight and immediately stopped to say hi "Hey Rave, you look tired, did you run a race or something?"

Rave jumped as she heard a voice behind her, she whipped around and saw that it was only Novalus. "Oh I..um... went for a run before I came here." she answered feebly.

Novalus looked at Rave sensing that he was missing something but decided not to bother her about it and instead asked "You don't know how often Samea shows up do you, have you met it? I've been calling and it seems that Hufflpuff Solitaire is right, it won't come if you call it, this is frustrating"

:: Ganymede listened to her cousin closely. "I remember Professor Pheonix. She taught Herbology. She was an ok Professor." She sighed indifferently and continued, "She and Headmaster Hendrik.." She winked at them hinting at a certain relationship. "Atleast that's what it appeared to be."

Her forehead furrowed as she tried to remember what happened to the old Professor, "She just sorta.. vanished. I really don't know why she left. Then we had Virohsa. She came with all the Ministry chimps. Maybe she has some more information where Phoebe Pheonix is now." She said a the last part acidly.

"Lee you have a clue also? Who is leaving clues?" Ganymede said while moving her hands. Her hands said to Linnea, Not colonel Mustard or Mr. Green's clues. Who can it be? ::

"It doesn't matter, I just want to find out more about a riddle, apparently it came from Samea. Since I'm here i might as well find out when the essay is due" Nova then knocked on the door " Excuse me, Professor Craft" he said hoping he wasn't disturbing her

:: Professor Ganymede heard yet another knock on the door. "Toraks teeth, what's so darn special about me." She groaned. "Excuse me guys, I'll be right back." She told the students in her office. She wiped her forehead with her hand and sighed.

Marching to the door she opened it a crack. "Why hello. I'm sorry but I am incredibly busy at the moment." She explained with mock regret. "If you'd like, you can just send me an owl. I'll get the message at dinner." She hoped they understood. "I should get back to my work." She slammed the door, pulled out her wand and put an impertubable charm on the it. "Ok, no more interuptions." She smiled and walked back to her desk.

"Let's pretend we never stopped. Where were we? Ah yes. A somewhat good idea would be to go ask Miss Cleo Virohsa. I suggest being very bold about it. She doesn't like people messing around." Ganymede told them. ::

Rave was surprised at how Ganymded had reacted to her and Novalus, after all she must have seen Rave standing there. Rave sighed and turned to walk away.

Lee sighed, "Unfortunatley yes I did come across a clue." Lee was the sort of person who always brung danger to himself. "I know another Hufflepuff who has also found the same clue in our Common Room, Nikolai? third year. Transfered from Durmstrang."

"It HAS to be the book Gany. It has to be. I have a feeling that the riddle Hendrik supposedly told Samea was to help us lead to these clues. All the clues lead to the book in someway... has to be. Virohsa won't be of much help since she wasn't here in Hendrik's times. She wasn't even here when I started up."

Edaj heard how rushed the Proffessor sounded, and kind of worried, so she decided she'd talk to her later. she thought about sending her an owl like she'd suggested, but decided that what she had to talk to her about wasn't very important at all.

She paused and scratched her head. "I still think Virohsa would be a good place to start." She told them. "I think it would be best if you went to ask. I have a feeling she would be suspicious if I asked her anything like that."

Professor Ganymede rolled her eyes and waved a dramatic hand, "I was extremely behaved as a student." She smiled wickedly at them and added sarcasticly. "I see no reason for Professor Virohsa and I to be best friends soon."

"No but seriously, don't even say you talked to me." She was serious this time. Her face showed that perfectly. ::

Linnea nodded, "Okay, Professor Lainey had said she was the Herbology professor, so maybe Virosha."

She paused, "How long has Professor Dainsie been here?" she asked, she knew Virosha hadn't been here all that long, and if Dainsie had been here long enough.....maybe she knew Professor Pheonix and could give insight on the lady herself.

A small brown owl flutters up to the office and drops a tiny envelope on the desk.

:: Just when Ganymede was going to answer, an owl flew in.

"Whats this?" She grabbed the letter and tore it carefully open. Slowly, she read it's contents to herself. "This is joke. This is a very dumb joke." She chortled at the idea of the two getting married. "I bet Samea is up to more stupid riddles." She sighed and crunched the paper into a ball.

She went to go throw it out the window, but paused. What if it wasn't a joke. It was a party. She enjoyed parties. Ganymede was to bring a gift. She rifled through her school things and found a 4 year old box of sugar free cookies her sister had given her. "Perfect." She used a simple spell to wrap it in green tissue paper. Then she placed it neatly under her arm.

"Unfortunately, We must make this meeting short. I seem to be needed somewhere." She pocketed the letter in her cloak and went to the door. "Try Virohsa. I've got to get going." Professor Ganymede opened the door, allowing her friends to get out.

"I'm sorry students. I will be back soon." She apologized to the small group waiting for her. Then she promptly locked the door and made her way toward the staff room. ::

Lee smiled and nodded at Gany. He gave her a small wink before she left. Afterwards he removed a note from his pocket and placed it neatly on her desk where it was adressed to her. "She'll get it when she returns," Lee muttered patting it neatly on the desk surface.

He turned round to face Linny and Julia, "Well I best be off then." With that he left through the door on which his Transfiguration professor just had and left it open for Linny and julia to follow suit.

She eyed Lee placing a not on Gany's desk, raised an eyebrow at him then shrugged. It was up to him if he wanted a professor as a penpal.....and he could do worse than Gany.

She followed him out the door and waited for Julia.
