Professor Branxton stepped into his classroom feeling better than he'd felt in quite a long time. He propped the door open and whistled as he walked behind his desk and took a seat, flicking his wand at the chalkboard so that the words 'Babbling Beverage' appeared.

Melody looked towards Jacqui. And wondered what she was all about. Then she tried out her potion, but nothing happened. "Hmm, maybe I didn't put the right ingredients in." She said to herself. But she noticed that her potion had the same colour as the potion Jacque had made. She thought to herself that it was very weird that she didn't say anything. Or maybe it had to do with that spell from last year.

"There are ways but, we are not at the level where you would be able to do so. I test each potion you hand into me to judge how well it was made," Professor Branxton replied, nodding at those students who tested their potion. He went around the classroom and handed out antidotes to those students who took the potion, then made his way back to the front of the class.

"For homework, I'd like you to compile a list of the ingredients for the Babbling Beverage and your analysis on what they are used for in the potion and how they work together to create the babbling effects of the potion. Your homework will be due one week from now. Class dismissed."

When Professor Branxton gave a small bottle of a dark, greeny potion to Jacqui, who was crying into her hands, Jacqui screamed. "No! You can't make me drink that! It will kill me, but I didn't do it!" She cried. But she opened the bottle and took a small sip.

It tasted disgusting. It tasted like dog slobber mixed with ashes and charcol (sp?). But before Jacqui could tell what else it tasted like, she spat it out. "Ewww." She moaned. She picked up the bottle of water and drank two mouthfuls, washing the horrible taste out. "I didn't! I swear I didn't do it!" She babbled. Then she brought the antidote to her lips again and swallowed the disgusting swampy, potion. She then quickly washed her mouth out with the water. "Discusting..."

After listening to the homework assigment, Jacqui cleaned up her mess, picked up her stuff and walked out of the classroom, heading eagerly to her next class.
