Professor Branxton walked past the queue of students waiting outside the potions classroom and unlocked the door. He fixed it open and then made his way to his desk, allowing the students to enter and settle themselves.

ooc note: I'm going to leave this thread open overnight so that those who were unable to attend the class will still be able to brew their potion. I will not be monitoring the thread but, that doesn't mean that Professor Branxton is not here and supervising. Please don't blow stuff up or die while I'm not able to RP (also note that if you die in the RP, you can't participate in the RP for the rest of the term and you will need to create a new character to play next term as the current one will ahve died).

For those just coming in, we are brewing the Hair-changing Potion. The directions can be found in your Potions Textbook.

Shell then placed the moonstone then 500ml of water into her cauldron and waited as they came to the boil. The instructions said 5mins so she timed herself..........

vicky put the moonstone on the cauldron and then added 500 ml of water. After setting it to boil she started to get nerveus, she wondered if she had put the right amount of water or if something was going wrong.. she hoped not..

Lola gently put the moonstone in the bottom of her cauldron. Then she added 500ml of water and set it to boil.

Alyssa looked at her watch. The five minutes were up she read her text and then did what it said. She added the Belladonna and the nettles and made it boil for 5 more mins.

after returning to his desk, Doug reads the instructions to the potion very carefully several times. Then puts the moon stone in his cauldron, add precidely 500ml of water and adds heat for 5 minutes. meanwhile he begins crushing 2g of belladonna and measuring out 5g of dried, powdered nettles

Janie got up from her seat, and walked to the desk. She touched the nearest moonstone and picked it up in her fair and soft hands. Happy with her choice, she glided back to her own seat.

Serilda read the directions over twice before taking her cauldron out, taking her wand out and starting a fire, and then following all of the instructions needed to make the potion. "How's this, professor?" asked Serilda as she finished making the potion.

Whende looked up at the nearest clock and saw that five minutes was up. Quickly referring to her textbook, she added the Belladonna and nettles and started staring at the boiling mess again.

Alyssa reduced the heat under the cauldron and made it simmer for 5 mins.

After the 5mins were up Shell added the 2grams of crushed belladonna and the 5grams of crushed dried Nettles, carefully timing another 5mins..........

After the water boiled for five minutes Lola added the Belladonna and nettles and let it boil for another five minutes.

after waiting exactly 5 min. for the stone to boil, doug then adds the belladonna and the nettles. then waits 5 more min. for it to boil.

When she had comforatbly sitten on her seat she pulled over her cauldron and the ingredients. She tipped 500ml into the small cauldron presicely and carefully and boilt it whilst she crushed her belladonna and nettles.

after 5 minutes had exacly passed, vicky added the belladona and the nettles being careful to put them in the right order and set everything to boil again..

Destiny noticed everyone had started so she read the directions carefully in her potions book and put the moonstone in her cauldron. Then she added water. And let it boil for 5 minutes.

She read her page further and added nettle and belladonna and boiled it for 5 more minutes.

After the 5mins were up, Shell simmered the potion and carefully timed it again for another 5 minutes, trying not to look at everyone elses potions, she studied her textbook........

Whende jumped out of her daze and realized that another five minutes had passed. She turned down the heat. This is easy, she thought to herself as she continued to watch the potion.
