Mandi took out a vial and dipped some of her potion into it "I hope i did it right. Oh well if not i'll just try harder next time!" After cleaning up her mess and stuffing all her things back into her bag she placed the labled vial on the professors desk and headed out the door.

Erin decided to try her potion. She measured 200 ml of it, and rinsed her hair in it. Her hair turned a pretty ravenclaw blue. 'Cool!' Erin thought to herself. She then filled a vial to turn in, and saved the rest for a rainy day. She cleaned up her workspace, put the labled vial on the professor's desk with the rest, and left to go work on her homework.

"The shade, hue, and coloration are entirely dependant on your concentration on the color you want it to be."

He stepped up to the front of the classroom. "Now that you've finished brewing your potion, you may test your potion, if you like. However, I will need you all to save a small vial of your potion to hand in, making sure to label the vial with your name and house.

"Homework for today's class will be to write about your experience brewing and testing this potion. If you don't chose to test your potion, please interview one of your fellow classmates and get their reaction. Homework will be due exactly one week from this post.

"Oh, Ok" said novalus while he wrote down the homework. he then decided to properly try out his potion by taking 200ml of his potion to rinse his hair and hoping it would turn green. As it took 5 min to change colour he then labeled his vial with 'House = Slytherin, Name= Novalus Kilkao' and took it to the front to hand in to the teacher

Olivia got her ingredients out then her cauldron. She walked to the front of the classroom and got a moonstone.



She then did what the directions said to do in her book. She got confused in the stiring so she started over on the stiring part.

Olivia thought really hard about the color lavendar "Coloro!" she said and the potion turned a dark lavendar."Close enough" she said.

She rinsed her hair in 200mL of the potion and then 5 minuted later her hair was a revoulting purple.

Olivia copied the homework and then labled a vial with House-Gryffindor , Name Olivia Granger

She handed it to the teacher and then left.

Rose smiled at the professor and decided to try out her potion. She dipped her hair into 200mL of the potion. Even though she wanted it to be hot pink, she was happy with the shade of blue she and thought of. After labeling a vial of her potion and leaving for the professor, Rose whipped her new blue hair up into a ponytail where she stuck her wand and quill and left the classroom with her book bag slung over her shoulder.

Meghan nodded at the Professor when she heard the instructions. She turned to her potion and ladles some of it into a small vial. She pulled out a quill and labeled the vial

She than handed it in to the professor and cleaned up all her things. After putting all her books in her bag she walked out of the classroom looking into a mirror in her hand. So Bubblegum pink wasn't her color, what else was new?

Matt walked to the front of the class and got a moonstone and walked back to his seat and placed the moonstone at the bottom of the cauldron. He started to add water and then let it boil for five minutes. After the five minutes he added belladonna and nettles and started to boil those with the potion. Then after boiling those for five minutes he reduced the heat and let it simmer in the cauldron for five minutes. Then he started stirring the potion 20 strokes clockwise and then counter-clockwise. Matt then grabed his goblet and filled it with the clear potion. Matt reached into his pocket and pulled out his wand and placed the tip of it in the potion and said,"Coloro", while thinking of the color blue. The potion turned blue and he heard the Professor say it was ok to try it out so he rinsed his hair in 200mL of the potion and about five minutes later his hair was blue. Matt laughed when he saw how he looked and then took out a quill and started to copy the homework. As Matt was putting his things away he took out a potion vial and put some of his blue potion in it and labled it:

Matt grabed his wand and pointed it at his potion and said,"Evanesco". His Potion dissapeared and he grabed his things and said to the Professor,"That was a great lesson, I can't wait for the next one." Matt then left the classroom and decided to go by the lake.

Caitlin dipped her vial into her potion carefully. She was wearing glove but she still didn't want to have any of it touch her skin because she didn't know the side effects.

After placing it on the Professor's desk, she left, smiling at the fact that she'd accomplished her first potion.

"Hello Caitlin. I'm Phoebe. How are you?" She said happily a bit embarresed.

Aurora slipped into the classroom. She hated to be late for class. She sat down in one of the chairs in the back and put out her materials. She heated up the water and waited until she could put the belladonna and nettles in. She conyinued with her potion hopnig she could keep up with all the other students. Finally she was finished. She thought about what colour she could want this to be. She liked her haircolor, she just didn't like her curls. Well, purple would be pretty cool maybe for a day. She concentrated on the shade of the color. Than she tipped the vail with the tip of her wand and said "Coloro" The potion started turning purple bit by bit. She put something in a vail for the professor and labeled it:

The rest she kept to herself. Maybe it would come at handy at some point.
She packed her things and handed the potion to the professor.

james began to boil and water and wait for 5 minutes

Crystal finally got her potion to change color. She rinsed her hair in the potion and sat there waiting for the change. She was twisting her long hair, thinking that she had failed when all of sudden, her hair slowly started turning a pinkish-purplish rose color. She took out a hand mirror and saw that all of her hair was mauve. " Wow, I didn't think it would turn out this good!" she exclaimed gleefully. She then took a vial and filled it with some of the potion, labeling it so the Professor Branxton would give her credit.

Allie started to brew here potion. She added the belladonna and nettles. And let it boil for 5 minutes. She stired, 20 full strokes clockwise followed by 20 full strokes counter-clockwise. She poured it into a goblet and waited for the next instructions.

candace looked into the goblet adn said "here goes nothing. COlORO!" she shouted adn sat waiting until her hair turned form dark brown to sun bleached blond.

Serilda poured out her potion into a small vial, wrote: Serilda Calligahan, Second Year, Ravenclaw on a label, and then pulled her wand out. Taking a deep breath, Serilda said, "Coloro!" and did everything she needed to do what was instructed. Within a few moments, her natrual brown hair turned a vibrant orangey red, a colour similar to fire. Serilda smiled and glanced at a mirror she saw in the corner of the room. "Nice." She put her potion onto the teacher's desk, wrote down the homework, and headed out.

Allie thought about the colour that she wanted and said"Coloro!" She waited for a while after she had dipped her hair in, then it suddenly turned a bright red. "That's brillinat!"

Alanna didn't really wantto change want to change her dark red hair, but she decided brown would be an interesting change. "Coloro!" she said,and watched her hair turn color. After that was done, she filled a vial of potion and labeled it with Alanna Temple, Second Year, Slytherin, recorded the homework, and placed the vial on the Professor's desk.

Karen was oblivious to her classmates' excitement of having their hairs turn to another color, she was concentrating on finishing her potion and making it a good one for a first class...when she finished she heaved a sigh of relief...at last, came in the relieved thought...she looked around her for the first time after she finished her potion and puoring some of it into a goblet. She noticed that everyone else's trying their potion on themselves and she thought, I should try this if it works so that I would know if sommething is wrong, then reaching a decision, she got her wand and dipped the tip of it into the potion, thought hard of auburn, pointed it at her hair and said, " Coloro! ". She got a mirror from her bag and looked and was a bit shocked to find that her hair was auburn, rich auburn. She mentally shooked herself and started to pur her potion into a vial and labeled it "Karen d., Slytherin 1st Year"
and passed it...

kimmy got a vial , put her potion into it & labelled it. then she put it the professor's table, with a quick good bye & walked quickly to catch with srimathi.

After spending a few minutes with serena displaying their funky new hair colors, lua poured some amount of the potion she brewd in class in a small vial and labeled with her name and house and walked up to the professor's desk and placed it in the holders he had. Then came back to her desk in silence hoping her hair color would stay this red for the entire year and sat quietly.

"Excellent job today, class. The house points will be tallied and displayed on the bulletin board outside of class shortly. Have a good day; class dismissed," Professor Branxton said and waited as the last students trickled out before locking the classroom door.
