Ebony would have like to try but she decided to let someone else to give it a try. She used a vacuum cleaner all her life.

"Ok then, if there are no volunteers, I'll just call on someone!" she laughed and looked around the room in a jest strict manner. Finally, a girl from Ravenclaw raised her hand.

"It's alright if you are Muggleborn, step right up! Demonstations are always fun, and you know it!" Professor Light laughed a little, and moved next to the girl.

"So, what should I call you?"

"Very nice to meet you, Brittany! So, you said you are Muggleborn, so I'll leave you to it, go right ahead." Professor Light motioned to the vacuum and smiled, taking a seat on her own desk.

Brittany nodded and turned to the vacum. She plugged it in and started to roll it over the dirt like she did to her room every once a week. She started to hum while she did, something she often did while vacuming to keep herself occupied.

Professor Light watched the girl easily vacuum. "Ok, that looks wonderful, great job. You may have a peice of candy if you'd like!" she said, offering the girl a brightly wrapped Muggle candy.

"Anyone else? If not, I'm going to wrap this up... purebloods, this might be your last chance to use a vacuum ever!"

"Alright, alright, I think you all got the idea. There are more aspects of cleaning (house, personal, kitchen) but I think you all did an excellent job today. I'll post the homework a little later check my homework board outside my office."

"You are now dismissed, thanks for a great lesson!" Professor Light "scourigfied" the carpet square and sat on her desk, watching her students leave.

"See ya Professor," Erin said. She picked up her books, as well as an array of other items. Erin stood up and walked out the door, waving to the professor and her other classmates behind her.

"thankyou proffesor" Phoebe said smiling at the proffesor. Then remembering her question she walke dup to where proffesor light was and asked "Excuse me proffesor, My name is Phoebe and I was wondering if muggle things like cameras and stuff can be used in Hogwarts? I'm a muggleborn and was wondering if I should ask my family to send me some stuff from home." She asked.

Professor Light waved goodbye to the students, but then stopped to talk to one who had stayed behind. "Well, typically they won't work. Electronics and such don't work well at Hogwarts. There are some complex spells that will let electronic objects work for a short time, but I don't think you would be able to get them to work at your current age, the spells are rather complex as I already mentioned. I would do them for you, but I don't think I can just because if I start helping you out, soon I'll have the whole Muggleborn population of this school wanting to get their digital cameras and take pictures. Plus, there are reasons why we have spells stoping Muggle contraptions from working here anyway, so it's just easier if you use your Muggle items... the electronic ones anyway, when you get home on summer break."

Professor Light gave the girl a big smile and waited until she and the others had left room. Then Professor Light rolled the vacuum sweaper back into the cupboard and left the room, locking the door behind her.
