"I think he had the same idea as Voldemort - Hogwarts holds a lot of powerful magic and secrets. He bid his time until the job came open. Since he was very well qualified for the job, he was hired right in. How would you all like to have been taught Defense Against the Dark Arts by Professor Duskurk? Hmm?" |

Tesija doubted that Thomas, being a professor, would act inappropriate with the students during the official lessons, because it would cause him to loose his position very quickly, but he wanted to explore Hogwarts.
"I think it would be very interesting."
Tesija paused.
"Being taught by this mysterious person, and knowing, he was very well qualified for the position, his lessons could of been very intellectual and useful indeed..."
Tesija then added.
"...at the beginning at least, whilst he wanted to explore Hogwarts." | |

Lainey openly rolled her eyes at Lee. He was just an awful student this term and hopefully the summer would bring a nice attitude change for him. "I think you're absolutely right, Tesija. I can honestly say that I would have liked very much to sit in on one of his lessons."
Lainey sighed and continued. This part of the story, to her, was the most interesting. "Thomas was finally able to explore the school and had unrestricted access to the restricted section as a Professor...So, he found an old, musty, book, locked in a back cabinet with some other particularly nasty books. Any guess as to which book he found?" | |

Emma was particularly surprised at the Hufflepuff boy's answer. She almost fell off her seat when she gave a little jump. She had thought it was some kind of dark book of course, but not the book. Not The Book of Mysteria she had heard about so many times but never seen. The book that had always been so dangerous, yet according to Lainey, so useful. She did not know the details of everything this book had been behind, but she had never imagined or contemplated the possibility of it having see Hogwarts earlier than a few years ago. But the more she thought about it, the more it seemed possible. She looked over at Professor Lainey expectantly, all the while wondering why a teacher would teach this dark subject in their class while for so many years, it had remained a secret.

g_g just sat and listened to the Professor and her other classmates discussions, taking down notes. But once she heard the book of mysteries, she quickly looked up. her guess though was Tom Riddle's diary, as she recalled was mentioned in one of professor Lainey's past lessons.

"No actually," Lainey smiled. That was what she was expecting from Lee. "It actually was a book that gave valuable information about the legendary Book of Mysteria." Lainey paused to look at Lee, then moved on. "Thomas knew from then on, that he needed to get that book. It's become his life's goal. He's even went so far as to change his name to Lord Voldemortist....," Lainey replied slowly, for the first time revealing who Thomas was. Sure, the class had made speculation - but she felt a tingle in her spine as his name rolled off her lips. | |

Phoebe who had grown up not knowing of Wizards didn't find this to bad. Knowing that it was Thomas made him seem not as scary. However Phoebe didnt dare speak the name herself. Phoebe jotted down notes before looking up at Proffesor to find more information.

Lainey smiled and put her hands together as she stood. "And that's it. Now you all have been told and are aware of whom we're up against in this world. Not that you all need to worry about that here." Lainey waved her wand at the blackboard, where she would normally put homework and wrote, "NO HOMEWORK." "Instead of homework, I just want you all to keep in mind everything I taught you about Thomas this year. Share with others. Knowledge is power, afterall." Lainey smiled and opened her door. "I'll see you all next term. Have a good day and safe trip home on the train."

Tesija wasn't excited about not having a homework at all, and was actually sad that this was the last History lesson this year, no matter how weird others might think she was.
She put her things in her bag and slowly headed to the doors, taking a look at the class for the last time.
"See you in the next lesson!"
Tesija spoke to professor adding:
"...though next term."
She smiled and left the class.

Erin left the class deep in thought. They had learned alot this term about Lord Voldemortist. The similarities to Lord Voldemort were scary. It left Erin wondering what the future might hold.
