lizzy left the cave as she heard lee making ridiculous noises behind her. |
Whende rolled her eyes. She couldn't help but feel slightly ignored by this point. Trying not to seem rude though, she smiled and concealed a laugh at the hufflepuffs obnoxious antics, refusing to leave until she found out why they were talking about clues. |
Lainey whipped around at the sound of a scream. "Petrificus totalus," she yelled into the darkness. "Everyone out of the cave!" Lainey yelled, while moving with her wand raised towards the direction the screams had come from. "Stay with Thorn just outside the cave," she directed, more calm now that the guilty party was coming into sight. |
Lee was snickering to himself in the darkness when all of a sudden his eyes were blinded by an orange flashing light heading for him. Too slow to dodge out of its way the spell hit him square in the forehead. His legs tightened together and he lost balance falling face down on the ground, "What the ...!!!" Lee cussed loudly. |
Brittany clutched her wand at the sound of someone crying for help. She scurried father away from the cave and stood closer to the clumps of the other students. The dark and eerie light the fire cast over the scence was making it extremely creepy..well for her it was. |
Whende skipped off to the edge of the cave. She didn't want to leave, but she didn't want to disobey a teachers orders either. Staring into the cave excitedly, she waited to see what would happen next. |
Julia leans against the wall of the cave, twirling her wand in her hand, obviously amused by this scene. She had been exploring far enough into the cave that she was pretty close to Lee at the time of his little moment, Lee obviously not noticing she was there. "Amateur," she mumbles, rolling her eyes. Smirking as Lainey casts a full body-binding spell on him, she shakes her head slowly. "Nice one, professor," she says, snickering quietly as she exits the cave and takes a seat on her boulder again outside, waiting for Lainey to return. |
Sebastian was in the group that left the cave. He knew that Professor Lainey and the gamekeeper were capable enough of taking on anything that resided in that cave. At least he hoped so. |
Crystal heard someone scream, and she jumped and began to run out of the cave. She heard Professor Lainey yell " Petrificus Totalus!", and when she looked behind her, she saw Lee's face illuminated briefly by the spells orange light. He looked a bit surprised, and Crystal stopped running . She then began laughing as he fell face forward into the damp earthern floor of the cave. "Serves him right, disrupting class like that, " She thought, smirking. |
g_g jumped as she heard a scream from somewhere. her heart began to race. The professor cast a spell and directed them to move out. she hurriedly went out panting. she took deep breaths and stayed close to the group. she hoped it was a prank. she'd rather get angry at pranksters than be scared half to death be maniacs. |
Phoebe hurried out of the cave wondering what had happened in all of the confusion. |
Even though th commotion was caused by an annoying student, Rose's nerves were heightened and she was terrified. She quickly walked out of the cave and sidled up next to some other students. |
“Right you are ma’am,” Salem said a bit embarrassed, “Just with the students and all…” he finished more to himself then to Lainey. Mr. Thorn turned around quickly as he heard the screaming, strangely enough Salem thought he recognized the voice but Lainey’s shouting was louder than the other persons’ and he couldn’t quite place whose it was, he turned, not seeing Lee's single form illuminated by the spell’s light and ushered the students out of the cave, “you heard the Professor,” he said to the remaining students in the cave, “out now.” He held his wand firmly in his right hand as he escorted them all quickly out into the clearing. Once there he scanned the trees with narrowed eyes for any animals that might be lurking about and waited for Lainey and whoever else at the entrance of the cave. “I’m sure it’s nothing,” he tried to reassure the others, “Probably just one of your classmates pulling a prank...” He joked lightly still scanning the trees. |
Lainey stood over Lee and waved her wand to free him. "I don't want you to say a word. Just get up and we'll talk about this when we get to my office." Lainey offered him a hand, made him take it and lifted him up. "You will hold my hand the entire way back." Lainey gripped it tightly and led him out of the cave. "Lee thought he saw something that he in fact did not. No harm done. Let's head back class." Lainey smiled to Thorn, sending him a little thank you nod for handling things for her, and began the trip back to the castle. In no time, the class was back at the edge of the forest. "You're free to go from here. Homework for this week is to outline Thomas's life from birth through Hogwarts. It'll be due in one week! Class dismissed!" Lainey bid goodbye to Thorn and thanked him again, before dragging Lee up to the castle. |
Lee tried to break free of Laineys strong holding grip on his hand. He was completely mortified now, all his classmates watching him hold a Professor's hand. Just wait till they got to her office, he'd sure have it out with her then. |
