Hermy called her broom and sat on it comfortably. Dipping the front slightly, she started to accelerate towards the first flag and leaned slightly to swerve around it. She continued this along the length of the pitch, leaning smoothly from left to right and zig-zagging through the course. Reaching the other end, a huge smile of relief, and amazement, spread across her face. Elated, she raised her hand so the next person could go.

Paul nodded and smiled to Hermy. "Good on ye now girl!" He waved the next student down.

going left and right and in between she reached the end
finally it was good feeling to be on the broom and flying
laughing saeda put her hand up for the next person.

candace stood in line pateintly waiting for her turn to go up in the sky, she was very excited.

vicky took placeon the line waiting the professor to call her..

Paul waved the next few students down. "Just come down when someone is done!" He called from across the pitch.

Vicky nodded while calling her broom, surprisingly it came, she sat on it and made a slow kick so to elevate from the floor. She felt a whole new sensation, she have read about it(cause she was a muggleborn) but it was nothing compare to this, she leaned to the first flag. After passing a few she felt more comfy and dared to accelerate.. After reaching the other part of the pitch she raised her hand with a sigh of relief on her face hoping that she did it good to be her first time

Meghan had been standing with everyone else in the line. When it was her turn she mounted her broom carefully checking and re-checking her grip. She pushed off the ground gently hovering only about a foot off the ground. She leaned forward and felt herself excelerating. One by one she manuevered herself around the cones. When she got to about the middle she felt herself slipping and quickly dropped down to the ground and slid back onto her broom. When she was sure she wasn't going to slide off again she flew back into the air and completed the course. When she finished she turned sighing heavily and raised her hand proud she had completed the task without a scratch.

Lola walked up for her turn. She hopped on the broom and started rising.Having done these exercises before, she knew she could excellerate with out worrying about crashing. She weaved in and out of the flags with ease and then touched down happy with her work. Then she watched the next student go.

Allie dove up and down the pitch flying and wondering why her Mum ahd never told her about this. She slowly flew down to get a break. Then flew straight up.

Serilda did as she was told; she looked sideways at the other students before looking back at the professor. She clicked her tongue over her teeth and rolled her shoulders a little to loosen them up as she flew around the pitch. She waited for the professor to give them furthur instruction.

Whende watched as the previous student waved from the other end of the pitch. She gulped, hoping she wouldn't make a fool of herself and mounted her broom. Starting off slow she started toward the first set of flags. As she grew more comfortable she picked up speed.

Soon she was zooming through the course. The wind blew through her hair. Nothing could stop her now, except the end. She reached it far sooner than she would have liked. With a sigh, she waved her hand and started gliding around the field.

Paul nodded as the students all went through the flags. "Good everyone. You've done mighty well ye have." He motioned for the few remaining students to come through the flags to him. Once they had, he continued. "Now then. I think everyone's done grand. So I'd like everyone to practice turning round now." He hovered a ways off the ground and pulled hi broom sharply to the side, turning in a sharp circle to face them again. "It's simple ye see. Just turn to the left or the right in a complete circle. We won't be turning upside down or underside up now." He pointed to the center of the pitch which had a single flag standing. "Now then, everyone, one by one fly to the center, turn around smoothly, and fly back here. Once you fly back, the next person goes. Alright?" He asked, then quickly he flew down to the center and motioned for the first student to come to him.

"I'll go," said Serilda. She clutched her broom tightly and started foward; she mounted her broom and did exactly as she was told. Zooming about the pitch, she did all Paul wanted before she landed on the ground again to allow the next person to go.

Melany got on her broom and flew to the flag, turned around, and flew back and landed safely.

"Good on ye girl!" Paul exclaimed as Melany and Serilda each flew past. He indicated to the next students to come to the center as well.

Whende flew to the center, much more confident with her abilties this time, and turned around to fly back. Whende she arrived back where she had started she gently landed and dismounted, smiling broadly at her success.

Melany gave a thumbs-up sign to Whene as she watched the next person go.

Susan took her broom and gently went into the air. Over the summer she had practiced a lot. She began to fly toward the flag and turned gently back.

Paul nodded as the last of the students finished up. "Right then. That does it fer today." He clapped his hands and lifted a hand to his mouth, whistling loudly to the students. "Right, that's 8 points to Ravenclaw fer participation. Two to Slytherin, 6 to Gryffindor, and 6 to Hufflepuff." He smiled to the students. "Good to ye all. I'll post some material on the board later. If ye brought yer own broom, ye can pick it up out that." He said pointing to the few brooms on the ground. "Otherwise, leave yer brooms and that and I'll clean up."
