lizzy's smile faded at lunas comment. that is certainly a possibility she thought to herself. she waited for the professor to answer.

g_g tried the spell once more after she fixed her pillow. "Reduto!" then, the pillow once again blew up. feathers everywhere!

Adam sat there hen he done and he waited

Rose laid her pillow against the wall. She breathed in slowly, concentrating on her pillow. She said "Reducto," but her pillow didn't burst or explode. It just ripped open and a few feathers fell out as a result. Must not have said it loud enough Rose thought to herself.

She looked hard at her pillow and said with great force and volume "REDUCTO!" This time the pillow truly exploded and feathers flew everywhere. Rose was quite pleased with herself. She gathered up as much as she could, and said "Reparo" and the pillow was put back together.

Sylvia did the curse once more. "Reducto!!" the girl shouted. The pillow exploded and some feathers could be seen shooting under the door and surprising students. Sylvia repaired the pillow way before Professor Rae saw the feathers in the corridors and thought to herself, Good enough.

Davina raised her wand and performed the spell one last time.She pointed to her pillow and very clearly said "REDUCTO"

Elijah grimiced at the thought of this spell being used on him. Ouch, he thought simply; shivers went up and down his spine as he pictured his left leg blowing up completely. He practiced the Reductor spell a couple more times before settling on the fact he'd had enough of blowing up pillows. He picked a few stray feathers out of his hair, and pocketed his wand, awaiting further instruction from Rae.

After practicing the wand movement a few times, Erin decided to try the spell. "Reducto" she said, blowing up her pillow. 'wow, it works,' she thought to herself. She didn't want to imagine the devistation this could do to a person. With a quick "reparo," Erin fixed her pillow and tried again, and again. After she felt she had the hang of the spell, she waited for further instructions from the professor.

Kay had grown bored practicing the spell over and over again, and repaired the pillow for the last time. She pocketed her wand and picked up the pillow. Turning around to see what everyone else in the class was doing, she was surprised to see Elijah standing not too far from her.

Making sure that she was not going to cross the path of the spell, Kay walked over to Elijah and stood by his side, awaiting further instructions from Professor Rae.

Rave practiced the spell over and over until she descided to try it nonverbally. A few seconds later her pillow exploded sending feathers everywhere, then a few more seconds when by and the pillow was whole again. Desiding she'd had enough, she waited for Professor Rae to speak again.

Kay glanced at Elijah before returning to her seat. Her parchment and quill were still laying on the desk, and she quickly scribbled down the homework at the bottom of her page of notes.

While waiting for the ink to dry, she absentmindedly pulled the old book out of her bookbag as she tried to rearrange the contents of the bag which had gotten jumbled at the beginning of class.

Elijah smiled as he saw Kay stand with him out of the corner of his eye, but no sooner had she approached him, Rae dismissed the class back to the desk for the explanation of the homework. Using his self-inking quill, he write down the assignment, and began thinking about what Rae said regarding practicing in the Dueling Arena.

And then all of a sudden the conversation that occurred last night with Davina and Whende came swirling to his mind. He quickly grabbed his things and hastily shoved them in his book bag before walking over to Kay's seat. He put his on the table and said in a voice only audible to her, "We have to talk; meet me in the halls as soon as you can," and with that he darted out of the classroom his new Ravenclaw robes billowing behind him.

A figure cast a shadow over her and Kay looked up to see that it was Elijah. She turned her head so that she could hear what he was saying and nodded. Quickly, she slipped the old book back into her bag and rolled up the parchment, placing it on top of the book along with her quill.

Without a moment's hesitation, she grabbed her bookbag and hurried out the classroom door, her robes billowing about her as she rushed after Elijah.

Edaj finished messing with the spell, and was amazed at a Ravenclaw girl who was doing it without speaking, Edaj tried that and all she did was drop her wand. after sitting down and looking at the homework, she sighed. she copied it down on some parchment with her quill and began looking over her notes she'd written during discussions she'd been silent thru.
