Professor Hutchinson unlocked the door to the classroom and walked inside, straightening random chairs and desks along the way to her place in the room. She set down her teaching materials and hurriedly wrote something on the board before taking a seat at her desk.

Alicia looked around the classroom and saw that it wqas filling up fast. There were only a few empty chairs left... 'I hope the prof. gets here soon. People may start leaving!" Alicia pulled out a peice of parchment, a quill, and an ink pot and began to do some homework. "Might as well do something before class starts!"

Erin looked up from the parchment that she was doodling on when a boy(Gred and Forge) came in and sat in her otherwise quiet corner. Not wanting to seem rude or unsocial, she smiled at him, but she didn't say anything, knowing that most professors preferred quiet classrooms before the lesson actually started.

Evy smiled at Kay for trying to calm down the students. She knew classes could be delayed a bit, so she began doodling in her sketchbook, patiently waiting for the professor to arrive.

Jessica walks into the classroom and looks around. She noticed a few of her Ravenclaw housemates and smiled when she made eye contact with them. She took a seat in a desk close to the front. She examined that she was a bit early for class. She pulled out her text book some parchment, ink and a quill, and sat quietly waiting for class to begin.
After a few minutes, she opend up her book and started reading, hoping to pass by the time.

Nikolai raised his head from where he had rested it on the table, disturbed by the noise level. He looked around and glared at those talking near him.
OOC: Yes, some professors finish classes within 2 hours. But some let them go on longer than that. This is normal, it happens with a few professors, so get used to it. The professor's character is standing in front of the class, so just post yourselves coming in and sitting down, waiting for class to begin. Please keep the chatter to a minimum or none at all. The prof may very possibly take off points. | |

Christy walked inside the Astronomy classroom, stumbling over a few things along the way but really paying no attention. With a heavy sigh, she sat or rather, collapsed in a desk near a Hufflepuff student.
Her face was pale and for once, instead of having her eyes wide and alert, they were half-closed. Point is, the girl looked like she was about to either throw up all over the place or fall asleep while sitting up in a chair. ´
With a small sigh, she dived for her bag and pulled out her texbook. Trying to block out the noise around her and keeping herself from fallen asleep, Christy concentrated only on reading what was written there. | |
