Astronomy Lesson One
 

Professor Hutchinson unlocked the door to the classroom and walked inside, straightening random chairs and desks along the way to her place in the room. She set down her teaching materials and hurriedly wrote something on the board before taking a seat at her desk.

Astronomy Lesson One Class will begin momentarily. Please wait quietly and do not chat in here. If you desire to speak with your friends, take it outside.

ooc: Class is scheduled to begin sometime on Friday, so please keep the chatting confined to areas in which it is allowed. I will not hesitate to delete posts and/or take off house points to anyone who does not follow this.

Alyssa walked into class and sat quietly with her quill and parchment out. She waited for class to start.

Crystal walked into the Astronomy classroom and found a seat towards the center of the room. She set her bag down, rummaged through it, then took out some sheets of parchment and her favorite quill. She began doodling along the edges of the parchment while she waited for class to start.

Davina walked into the classroom and took a seat.

Elijah strolled into the Astronomy classroom, excited to be in a class he enjoyed and was also quite knowledgable with. He smiled a nod at Professor Hutchinson and took a seat, relatively near the middle of the class.

Digging into his bookbag, he pulled out his self-inking quill and his book of parchment, readying himself for the start of this first lesson.

Brianna walked in and sat in an empty seat feeling very excited about the upcoming lesson

Yauvan walked into the classroom and sat down next to the alone ravenclaw girl, who was drawing on a peice of paper. She dropped her bag down next to her and took out the materials she needed for the class. She looked to the girl beside her and stretched out her hand.

"Hi there. Im Yauvan" she said, trying to stay quiet.

Kimmy walked into the Astronomy class she looked around for a seat.She spotted one .She sat down and took out her quill & parchment & waited for the class to begin

Kelli walked into the classroom and looked around. She seemed to be earlier because there weren't too many students in the class. She said hello to the professor and took a seat near the front of the room. She then got out her materials and waited for the class to start.

Luna hurried into the class and sat down glad that she got in on time. she pulled out the notes she had taken whilst she was up on the observation desk. She looked around hoping to see more slytherins at the class so that they could start earning more points.

mandi entered the room so excited she could not contain herself. "this is going to be fantastic!" She found a empty desk and had a seat and looked around the room in great anticipation!

Sol runs in and stoped at the desk. She gave Prof. Hutchinson a smile and spotted Lua and Nik. She made her way to them and sat down next to Lua. she put her bookbag on the ground and waited for the lesson to start.

Megan wlaked in with a sigh of relife that she wasn't late becasue she missed her last 2 classes!!!

srimathi walked into the room.she had already missed a class.she didnt want to be late again.

Jordan quietly walked into the classroom and hurried to the first empty seat she saw. She then looked up to the front of the classroom in anticipation.

Meghan walked into the classroom and than sat down quietly. She had a long day and she was tired. She was excited for this lesson though and perked up right away. She quickly pulled out her things and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear while she waited.

candace walked into the classroom suprised she wasn't first and took a seat near the front of the classroom.

Melany walked into the classroom and sat down, glad that class hadn't started yet.

"hey ebony can i sit next to you?" candace said finding ebony.

Zekk walks into the classroom. "Hello Professor" He says as he sits near Falas. He gets out all of his things and waits for class to begin.

as candace walked over to ebony she past zekk, she stopped and turned "hey zekk" but before he could anwser she kept walking, hoping he would at least answr her.

Ellen enters the classroom , looks at professor and says with a smile:
" good morning professor"
then goes to a corner and sits on a desk , then pulls a piece of parchment and a quill from her bag and starts to writing notes form new lesson.

Alicia walked into the classroom and took a seat.

"Hi there." He replies but quickly turns back to the board. Not wanting to loose points for talking.

ooc: lets be careful and not flood this thread with chat, points will be lost...

Alicia opens her dark green satchel and pulls out a compact. She flips it open and powders her freckled nose and checks he dark green eyeliner. She had noticed a few boys in the room who were not too bad looking...

Elizabeth walked into class and took a seat. She was excited for her first Astronomy lesson. She didn't know many people yet and hoped that maybe she would meet people in all these classes she was taking. She felt kind of nervous in a class where there were people who knew so much more than herself.

Alanna walked into the astromnomy classroom, found a desk in the back, and sat down. She was very excited, since astronomy was very interesting in her opinion. Setting out her materials-a notebook, pheonix quill, and ink-and looked around the room for her friends.

Erin walked into the classroom and found a seat. She loved looking at the stars at night, so she was excided to learn more about what she sees there.

Kasandra walked into the classroom. The first Astronomy lesson of the year. She was happy seeing that astronomy was always something she was intestested in, it wasn't her favortie class but it was up there.

She found a spot near the middle of the class and sat down waiting for the class to start

g_g walked into the classroom. "Not late yet" she thought taking a seat at the third row.

Erin walked into the Astromomy classroom and was disappionted to see so few Gryffindors there. Sighing, she took a seat near the front of the room, but not before smiling and muttering a quick "Hello" to the Professor. Once seated, she smiled at the students seated around her, but she didn't say anything, not wanting to talk; she was being extra careful not to do any tiny thing that could lose points for her house.

Katie sits at a table in the back and hops no one will notice her

katie looks around confused, wondering why nothing is going on....

ooc oh, it's just it's already 2 pages alomost 3 and we're just sitting here not allowed to talk

Crystal noticed the person who sat next to her had extended her hand in greeting. Crystal whispered quickly " I'm Crystal..but we shouldn't be talking. House points!" She smiled , then returned to her aimless doodling.

minerva walked in quietly and sat down at an empty desk. She was so looking forward to astronomy class. She loved to watch the stars and had learned so much from her father about the stars and the planets. Minreva felt that this was a class she could really do well in. She proceeded to take out her quill and parchment from her bookbag and waited for class to begin.

Yauvan nodded and smiled at Crystal. She then sighed and looked around the classroom to see how many people there were.
Waiting was not something she was good at and not being able to talk, or walk around made it worse. As there was nothing she could do she just fidgeted in her seat and flicked through her books.

Ayumi waits paitently for class to start. She stacks and unstacks the book son her desk creating a corral. Then she starts to practice her spell from transfiguration. Changing her button to a beetle and back to a button. While watching the beetle now known as Prince walk around her desk, she starts to look through her Astronomy book trying to guess what subject they'll study today.

Drusilla takes a seat in the back of the class, as usual. She looks a bit depressed.

Susan took her seat quietly which was in an empty row.

Sylvia walked into the classroom and quickly found an empty seat away from everyone else. This class looked interesting, but Sylvia didn't think she would be good at it.

candace now sittign next to ebony, waitied for the class to start and for zekk to make some motion that the two of them were going to break up soon. but she knew he wouldn't.

g_g saw the room was filling up. "Almost time to start i think" she thought.

Aurora went into the room. She thought class had allready started, but the professor wasn't there yet. Good! she thought, took a seat towards the front of class and waited.

Sarah comes running through the door and quickly settled down into a seat. she thens looks around and pretends to be innocent hoping the teacher doesn't notice she was late. her long blonde hair crazy looking she takes out a piece of parchment and a quill and wonders what to do

Oh i'm not late"thought sarah relieved

Sarah looks around at everyone and puts her long blonde hair in a high ponytail. An empty seat next to her.

She takes out a piece of parchment and a brand new quill and waits for further instructions

sarah spots g_g. smiles and then picks up her things and sits in a seat next to her. "Hi how's it going?" she asks her

Evy took a seat near the front of class, and watched the students around her with amusement.

"Good!YOu?" g_g said as Sarah sat next to her.

i'm fine but what happened to the professor?

"She's just waiting for everyone els to come..." g_g said

"oh" said sarah as she doodled on her parchment

g_g took out some parchment. she took out her quill and inkwell as well.

mandi looked up from the book she was flipping threw and rolled her eyes "slytherin's gonna loose points" :rolleyes:

katie, listening to the converstaions from her seat in the back, laughs at the fact that slytherin going to lose house points

g_g wondered why the Slytherin girl thought they were gonna lose points. "Oh well" she thought. she wrote her name and house on her parchment.

" cause you were talking stupid" thought Katie, watching the other around her

katie sits in her, corner wondering if class will ever start or if she'll have to watch the dullness of others for eterinty

David walked in and sat down and pulled out his quill and parchment.

Alicia looked around the classroom and saw that it wqas filling up fast. There were only a few empty chairs left... 'I hope the prof. gets here soon. People may start leaving!" Alicia pulled out a peice of parchment, a quill, and an ink pot and began to do some homework. "Might as well do something before class starts!"

Erin looked up from the parchment that she was doodling on when a boy(Gred and Forge) came in and sat in her otherwise quiet corner. Not wanting to seem rude or unsocial, she smiled at him, but she didn't say anything, knowing that most professors preferred quiet classrooms before the lesson actually started.

Alyssa looked around the class"They look bored" she thought. She wrote her name on her paper and began to draw on it.

katie, with nothing better to do, leaves her spot and goes over to Alyssa. " hey, i needed someone to talk to it's way to quiet for me and yeah." Katie hopes that maybe she can make a new friend.

Kay turned around and angrily glared at the students who were rudely talking in the classroom. She put her index finger up to her lips in a silent sign for them to stop talking.





OOC: Please stop the excessive and unnecessary chatting. You have already been warned by the lovely professor when she opened this thread and a prefect has warned you four hours ago.

paulien walked into class and took a seat next to alyssa and erin and waited for class to start

ooc: well i just want to know what we're supposed to do, cuz this board has been up for like 2 or 3 days and we still haven't had an astronomy lesson of any kind and yeah

Evy smiled at Kay for trying to calm down the students. She knew classes could be delayed a bit, so she began doodling in her sketchbook, patiently waiting for the professor to arrive.

OOC: Patience is a virtue, young Padawan. Come back to this board later to see if the lesson has begun. Find something else to do until the teacher arrives. Is it so hard? Remember that the SS teachers also have a life in what some people call reality...

g_g saw a hufflepuff doodling. "She's got the right idea for killing the time!" she thought. she took out her journal and started drawing the gryffindor common room and her gryff friends.

ooc: i check all the classes like every 6 hours or whenever i remeber to, adn this board has been up for like 3 days ok, usually it doesn't take this long and yes i know they have a life and yeah ok?

Selena looked around wondering why there are so many loud firsties in here. "Surely there can't be this much to talk about." Selena thought to herself as she eyed a Ravenclaw named Katie.

katie, sitting at her table near the back noticed Selena looking at her, and motions her her to come to her table

Selena walked over toward Katie...struggling with a large heavy bag. There was something moving inside, but Selena continued to drag the very heavy bag. "Hiya" Selena said in only a way she could do it.

"hey, what's up?ok... what's in your bag...." said katie trying to firgure out why Selena's bag was rustling

Phoebe looked around the class. She didnt know any one so decided to walk over to some people talking and said. "hello. I'm Phoebe. How are you?" She asked friendly.

Luna looked around the class hoping to merlin that the slytherins wouldnt loose points this lesson, they needed every point they could get.

Solitaire who had been sitting in the back sighed and continued to watch everyone talk and come in.

Shell quicky found an empty seat and sat quietly, waiting for class to begin.

Katie, seeing that Phoebe coming over towards her and Selena, says "Hi". but then starts whispering when she sees Nikolia glaring at them

ooc: oh ok that makes more sense then what other people were saying and yeah

srimathi saw g_g talking with some of her other friends.she went down near her desk to meet her express friend:)
