srimathi entered the class.good morning professor she said.she sat down and then saw the board.her soul essense number was three.she looked up at the board ans saw that her pizza flavour was pickled slugs.she wondered whether it was non veg.professor she raised her han.is number three veg or nonveg???

Vishu entered the class, "Professor" she nodded as she walked pass his table and sat down next to another Hufflepuff girl who was the only one there.
"My perfect pizza is Roasted Mandrakes?" she said out loud. "Wierd."
She looked at the girl next to her "What did you get?" she asked her.

Emma entered the room and examined the nine boxes of pizza. "You know sir, pizza is great with cheese... Just cheese" She said, trying to hide her disgusted look, "Will we have to taste our pizza afterwards? Because I'm not at all sure if I want too." She sat down, hoping she hadn't offended Professor in any way - and hoping she wouldn't faint.

Professor Mallard finished chewing and wiped his mouth. "I believe that a slug is not a vegetable. There slightly chewy though with a hint of lime. You might like them." Professor Mallard continued to eat his own piece of pizza.
Professor Mallard wiped his brow, when they said Fire peppers they really meant super spicy. "I would like you to try the pizza. Its good to try new things. What is your Soul Essense number? If it is 9 then you have nothing to worry about." Professor Mallard looked at his own pizza as his mouth felt like it was sizzling. "Perhaps if your pizza isn't of your liking you can take off the toppings?" He loosened his tie as his face began to sweat.

Marvolo walked into the classroom and looked at the board."8."Marvolo told Professor Mallard.

Professor Mallard looked toward the board, "Number 8, Ah Smoked Salamander! Lucky boy! You got one of my favorites." Professor Mallard was finished eating his own piece of pizza. He watched as the students got to try some different pizza toppings while learning about Arithmancy.

Rachel walked into the classroom and took a seat. She looked up at the board where Professor Mallard had written various pizza names. She frowned with curiosity. Her number was 11. But, 11 was not on the board. She was confused but knew her number was right.

Rose opened up her notebook looking for her Soul Essence Number. "I'm sure I calculated it..." she muttered to herself while flipping through her notebook. "Oh, here it is," she saw her number was 3. She looked to the board and saw her pizza match. "Pickled Slugs? Eww," she said. Maybe she could lie and saw she was 9, she was always partial to Cheese pizza. "Um, Professor? Would it be possible to have a slice of pizza that doesn't correspond to your Essence Number?"

Professor Mallard considered her question. "Yes. I for example like Smoked Salamander but since we are matching are Essense numbers to pizza I tried my match to Fire Peppers. Give your pizza a try first before passing judgement on it. You could like it." While he said this his mouth was dry and still tingling from his pizza.

Ebony tried to think of her Soul Essence numder. "It was...4" she whispered. Then she looked at the board and read Smaped Shrivelfigs. She had know idea what that was. "Um..Profesor what is Smaped Shrivelfigs?" she asked.

Rachel suddenly realized she must break down the numbers. Well 1+1 is 2 of course so I suppose I'll eat Pineapple Pizza. Well atleast I'm not eating Pickled Slugs, she thought. She took a piece of Pineapple pizza and smiled at the Professor. She went back to her seat and looked at it. She had never eaten pineapple pizza before but she knew it wouldn't hurt to try it. She shrugged and lifted the pizza up to her mouth and took a bite. She chewed it thoughtfully.

Hmmm. Very fruity of course. Not the best but not bad...

After finishing the pizza slice she looked up at Prof. Mallard and anticipated his reasons on giving them pizza and what it had to do with Arithmancy...

Rose closed her eyes and said, "Alright, Professor, my number is 3." Rose got up and grabbed a slice of Pickled Slug Pizza. The slugs were laying on top of the cheese, clearly visible. There was no doubt they were slugs.

Rose closed her eyes again and brought the pizza up to her mouth. She took a very small bite, but felt her teeth slice right through a slug. The juice oozed into her mouth, it had a tangy, sour flavor, not particularly appetizing. She tried hard not to gag, but it was too difficult. Rose put down the pizza, and struggled to swallow the food in her mouth. After what seemed like ages, Rose got the pizza down. Her eyes watered from the effort. "Um, Professor? You wouldn't happen to have anything to drink with the pizza, would you?" She was desperate to wash that horrible taste out of her mouth.

Rachel looked at Rose empathatically. She felt bad for her that she had to eat that horrible pizza. She looked at Professor Mallard with big eyes and looked back at her notebook where she was taking notes on the lesson so far.

Professor Mallard walked over to the table of pizza to discern what exactly Smape was. As he looked at the Smape it became clear. "Smape is whatever it needs to be. You can have Smape on toast, Smape and cheese, Smape and eggs, Smape and chips, and of course Smaped Shrivelfigs. I hope that answered your question." Professor Mallard picked up a piece of the Smaped Shrivelfig pizza and brought it back to his desk.

"Well then give it a taste. I think they taste a little like metal and dirt." Professor Mallard took a bite from his Smaped Shrivelfigs. "As you can see," He continued to chew, "Eating only what corresponds with your numbers may not always be to your liking." He swallowed the bite of pizza.

"Oh I think I have something for that." Professor Mallard placed a few items he brought out from a pocket. A few buttons, a paper clip, and a couple leaves. Waving his wand above them he uttered a spell and each item turned into a different cup filled with water. Professor Mallard selected a stemmed water goblet.

Ebony was still confussed. "Does it have any meat in it?" she asked. "I'm a vegetarian."

Marvolo sat down and took a bite of his pizza."Mmm yummy."Marvolo replied,taking another bite.

Professor Mallard shook his head, "Smaped Shrivelfigs is vegetarian too. Shrivelfigs are a fruit." He had a sip of water before finishing his second piece of pizza. He was getting quite full but he still wanted to try the Sweet Spicy Smape.

Ebony took a slice of Smaped Shrivelfigs pizza and took a bit. "Mmmm...It doesn't taste all that bad." she said and took another bit. Ebony likes mostly everything that doesn't have meat in it.

Rose looked at the Goblets in front of her. That last time a teacher offered her a drink, it turned out to be poison, a punishment for giggling in class. Rose looked wary, she wanted to get rid of that horrible taste, but she was not ready to have any surprised. Rose raised her hand. "What kind of drink is that? It isn't a potion or anything, right?" she asked.

Emma eyed the pizza once more before making her way towards #8. "Smoked Salamander? I'm not a big fan of salamnders... Especially if they're cooked. They are cooked right?" She said, pulling out the pizza. Salamander... Well if muggles could do it on that show, Fear Factor, her mother always watched, then she could too. She looked into Professor Mallard's eyes. "If I faint, I'd like someone to take me to the hospital..." She was expecting herself to start giggling, but apparently, she had meant that to be serious. She took a deep breath and tasted the pizza.

Rachel sat up and peered into her goblet. She sat back and tapped her fingers gently on her desk. She stared at the goblet for a while and with a quick movement snatched it and took a long gulp. She set it back on her desk and sighed.

Marvolo finished his pizza and looked around."That was good,thanks."Marvolo looked at the girl that sat in his last class."Me and Julia didn't care so just go ahead."

Erin dug through her messy bag, searching for her notes from last class; she couldn't remember if her number was 8 or 9. Then, finally finding the notebook labeled Arithmancy, she flipped through a few pages full of doodles until she found her notes. "A nine," she said quietly. Erin consulted the chart and found that her pizza was Cheese... Just cheese?? she thought. She definately would have rather tried something exotic like Smoked Salamander than cheese pizza. She could have regular pizza any time she wanted. Even though she was disappioned, Erin took a slice of cheese pizza out of the box and took a bite. Chewing it up, she walked over to Marvolo who didn't have a slice. "Did you eat yours already?" she asked.
