*You walk past the Muggle Studies classroom, and a small notice catches your eye...*

Professor Light opens up the door to her classroom, ripping the note of the door as she enters. She glances around the room and smiles. With a flick of her wand, the board is wiped clear and writing appears.

“Professor I. Light. - Muggles Studies, Lesson 1”

She walks over to her cabinet, pulls out a set of notes, and places them on her desk. Looking at the clock, she realizes she is a bit early, so she sits down on her desk in anticipation of the lesson.

Just remember, stay calm, the students will have a great time...

alyssa walks into class and says" good morning professor. she goes to her seat and sits down taking out her stuff for class.

Professor Light pops off of her desk and smiles. She recognized the girl as one of the Gryffindors who had stopped in her office. "Yep, you are at the right place Leanne! I'm going to wait to start the lesson until a few more students get here, then we will start."

Jamie walked into the class and settled down in the back of the classroom. She laid her bag down on the ground as she took out some useful books for Muggle Studies, and also a couple pieces of parchment so she could scribble some notes on.

After she got done trying to be organized she sat there and waited for the lesson to began, patiently.

Jen entered the classroom and headed for a seat near the front. "Hello Professor," she greeted the professor with a smile.

She set her bag down and removed a quill and some parchment. This was class she had been looking forward too.

Jenna walked into the classroom and found a seat by the few other students that were there already. She pulled out a quill, inkwell, and some parchment, waiting for class to begin. She brushed her dark brown hair back behind her ears, and she began to scribble on a blank piece of parchment.

Astoria walked into the classroom, bag in hand as always, and took a seat near the back of the room. She really wanted to impress all of the professors this term, but it wasn't really working out so far. She smiled at the professor and dusted some lint off of her Slytherin uniform. She took a book out to read, waiting for the lesson to begin.

Julia enters the Muggle Studies classroom and takes a seat towards the front. She takes her materials out of her bag, then sets her bag under her chair. She smiles up at the professor then waits quietly for class to begin.

Alex entered the Muggle Studies classroom and nodded silently to the Professor before taking her seat in the very back of the classroom. She placed her green bag on her desk and after a few minutes of rummaging through it, she finally pulled out a book which the girl started reading from while waiting for class to begin.

Professor Light smiled at her room that was now slowly being filled with students. She was so excitied to start her first lesson. While the students filed in, she greeted the students who had said hello to her. Professor Light pulled on one of the ends of her dark curly brown hair, let go while she waited for everyone to organize there things, and then began to talk.

"Welcome to Muggle Studies, I'm Professor Light, and I'll be your teacher this year. This is going to be a very hands on class... especially this year. I want to keep Muggle Studies fun and interesting enough that everyone can enjoy it. And it really not that hard..." she paused and looked around the room of students. "Muggles are very interesting... no matter what you may have heard. The ways and ideas they have used and developed to overcome not being able to use magic are really amazing." She tapped the board. Her name was erased, and a list of rules appeared.

She moved aside so everyone could see the board and looked at the room. "Yes, I know, no one wants to read these, but since this class will have lots of oppurtunity for interaction, I want everyone to be aware of these."

Kim enter the classroom.She found a seat and sat down and then bent down to get her bag.She pulled out her quill and some parchment.Then pulled out her journal and waited for the class to start.

Professor Light walked around to the back of the room while the students read the board. I hope I don't distract anyone... but I'm not one for sitting still while I talk. She waited until the students started to look away and see who was done and what was going on before she spoke again.

"If you haven't finished yet, don't worry, I'll always have a copy of these posted in my office. And now... I said this was going to be kind of interactive. Well, in Muggle School, all Muggles write with pencils or pens. Therefore, if you have a pen or pencil, please use it in this class. If you do not have a pencil, simply raise your hand and I will come to each of you and enchant your quill so that it will only be transfigured as a pencil during this class." By the time she had finished saying this, she had walked back up to the front of the classroom. She looked around to see if any students needed this enchantment.

Jenna read through the rules, nodding her head slightly as she read through them.

"Alright then," she thought, "This should be fun." Jenna turned her attention to Professor Light. Being an artist, she always had a pencil on hand (pencils felt less permanent than quills, even though she knew erasing charms).
