Professor T'Poutine waited at his desk, staring at the letter from his parents. He had not opened it yet. He shifted in his chair and pulled at his scarf, feeling a bit hot and tired. He would wait till after this class to open the letter. Professor T'Poutine watched the clock as class was soon to start. "A few more minutes and they'll be students with scarves." He muttered to himself trying to feel more cheerful. He even forced a smile. | |

Sabrina hurried into the classroom, flashing the professor a quick smile. Taking a seat, she carefully removed her scarf from her bag. It was a beautiful vivid red with small golden snitches. She absolutely loved it. She placed it on top of her desk and waited patiently for the lesson to begin.

Lee walked in to attend his first class in ages, he had been cooped up in that special ward far too long for most of this term and his education was probably profoundly poor by this point. He took a smalls eat at the back and watched the new Transfiguration Professor at the front, he seemed like a fairly fun man.

Jenna walked into the classroom, placed her bag next to her chair, and pulled out her wand. After waiting for a few moments, she rummaged through her bag for an old sketchbook and a quill. Placing her wand behind her ear, Jenna began sketching something in her book.
As other students entered she remembered that her scarf was still in her bag. She pulled out her succesfully transformed maroon and gold scarf. Jenna had even managed to form tassles at the ends.

Christy stepped into the classroom wearing a pleasant smile. She was really proud of her new scarf which she had transformed from a snake. She walked to one of the tables on the front row and sat down. She placed her bag underneath her desk and waited quietly for class to begin. With a small smile, she dived for her bag and pulled out her fuzzy, orange and yellow scarf with small kittens and placed it on her desk.

Yurio entered wearing an unappealing neon yellow scarf around his neck. Although it was silky and felt nice around his neck but he still hated it, it didnt match him atall but he thought it was better to wear it than to carry it. He spotted Alanna and hurried over to sit beside her. He sat down taking out his ink, quill and some spare parchment.

Meghan walked into the room feeling incredibly warm. Her scarf was itchy and hot. She absentmindedly scratched her neck when she noticed Sabrina. She walked over and sat down next to her.
She pulled out her things and leaned back in her chair. She started mumbling about her hot, scratchy, suffocating scarf. She wished hers was as good as some of the others.

Professor T'Poutine glanced at the students scarves. But his eyes kept wandering over to the letter he recieved from his parents. I could read it now. Otherwise, It'll drive me nuts all class. He thought with a very worried expression. With his thin fingers he picked the parchment up and unfolded it. Quote:
Son,
I'm sorry to tell you...
.... and he will be missed.
Love,
Mom A few sentances into the letter, his faced drained and he gave a shuddered gasp. He didn't have to read any more Suddenly he stood up and ran a hand through his hair. He needed to see the Headmistress. "Your scarves are all very nice. I'm going to have to end class now. Something has happened. Class dismissed." He choked out with a red face.

Sabrina glanced up in confusion as she heard the professor's statement. Class is ending? she thought looking at him. Realizing that he was clearly upset, her eyes widened. She hated seeing people in distress, professors included. She gathered up her books and headed for the door. As she passed his desk, she gave him a quick smile and murmured. "I hope everything will be okay, professor."

Heshasa cast a concerned look at the Professor. She was to weak and unbalanced to use her telepathy but she knew something was wrong. Watching as he disappeared she stuffed her scarf into her bag and stepped out slowly watching Professor T'Poutine's heels whip out of sight. She took a few tentative steps in his direction then stopped feeling it would be best not to interfere. She would make sure he was okay next time she saw him. Sighing she turned and walked in the opposite direction.

Jenna was worried. The note of urgency in the Professor's voice frightened her, and began packing her things up as well. She started placing her quill back when she stopped.
He knows what he's doing, of course, she thought, It's best not to get involved. Still, she packed up all her things, just in case. Biting her lip, and unsure of what to do, she kept her ears open for any unusual sound.

Meghan looked up shocked as the Professor left the classroom quickly. It took her a moment to comprehend that class was over. She looked at a few other people confusedly and than picked up her stuff. She took one last look at where the professor was standing moments before and than turned and walked out of the room, pulling her scarf off with her as she went.
