Professor Virohsa opened the door and was filled by the wonderful and sweet aromas of the plants. She smiled to herself and walked inside the room.

Sabrina gently plucked a leaf off the plant with a pair of tweezers. She delicately placed it on top of the rock. Using her wand, she muttered the spell and held it close to the rock, closely watching as the rock began to heat up, thus transferring some of the the heat onto the leaf. She continued to watch and when it seemed as though the rock was hot enough, she muttered the counterspell.

Julie was thrown a few feet away to the ground and could hear humming noises in her ears. She started screaming "Explosion!, Explosion!.. i can't hear anything and i can't see anything either".
She rubbed her eyes with her hand and opened it then muttered "I can see but i can't hear"
There only she realised that the fire spread through the class, desks and plants, some of the students robes cought fire.
Julie stood there in her spot not knowing what to do next....

Nikky saw that a fire had erupted in the class and muttered"Aqua Erectis"(don't know how to spell it,sorry), and in a split second most of the flames were out."Um...can someone help me put these flames out?"She asked as she directed the spout of water that was coming from her wand towards some flames.

Professor Virohsa frowned and waved her wand to put the fire out. Soon enough, the fire had cooled and there was nothing but ashes here and there.

After doing so, she walked over to Julie. "Are you allright?", she asked the child.

Christy got up and retrieved a plant with some healthy looking. She took the plant back to her desk and walked to the back of the room. She got a pair of tweezers and a rock from one of the shelves, she returned to her seat and picked one of the leaves carefully, leaving it on the top of the rock. Then, Christy placed her wand above the rock and with a spell, she started heating up the rock. She made sure the temperature was warm and not too hot or too cold to avoid burning the leaf.

Julie nodded to professor virohsa and in a squeeky voice answered "Yes professor, i am alright. I heard humming noises in my ear but it went away."
Julie started scrubbing her face using her robes it felt dirty, then straightened her hair and said "Professor i am sorry, i don't know what happened the stick suddenly ignited and the whole thing exploded immediately".
Julie was upset, she and lumus spent a good amount of time on their experiment and when they were so close to make a fossil it exploded.

Professor Virohsa looked at the child with an expression of concern. She grabbed the child's face and moved it around, making sure that there were no reactions... and there was none.

"Well, I'm glad you are allright. Well, let's take it slow this time", she nodded. "Tell me what you did before the rock exploded", she said as she waited for an explanation.

Julie trembled as professor asked her what happened, she couldn't remember with all the mess that happened.
She stood there staring at her station then said "nothing really i added the petals to the solidifiying mixture and lumus was stirring continuingly then suddenly the stick ignited and the whole thing exploded"

Professor Virohsa nodded. "Perhaps... we should do less of the... lumos spell...", she added after careful consideration. She was about to tell the child that if there was another partner, that they should take care of it... but deciding it was good experience to go through, Virohsa decided against it.

Lumus watched in shock after their rock had exploded. "Not such a good levitation spell." He murmured to himself. "Are you ok, Julie?" he asked as the professor tended to her. He felt bad and was afraid it was his fault the experiment had failed. His skills were still rudimentary and he so wanted to do well, it just never seemed to work out for him.

Julie nodded to the professor, she wasn't sure if the professor confused her partner Lumus with the Lumos spell or not, since the professor wasn't mad at her she didn't point it out.
Then replied "Yes ma'am i guess i should start all over again don't I."

As she walked back to her station eyeing Lumus shyly julie said "Maybe Lumus you should add the ingredients i am too scared to do that at the moment".

Julie giggled then replied "Its a deal, ok you need to start by intially mixing the soil, rock and feed together on the counter under the sunlight and slowly keep adding water while stirring."

Lumus takes the things and places them on the counter. He begins to sift them together with his fingers and looks for the water bucket. He looks up anxiously at Julie and begins to slowly pour water on the ingredients.

As the water pours down, he remembers something. "I don't have anything to stir with." he says to Julie.

Julie answered "Yea your right, the last one ignited".
She bit her lip anxiously as she thought of a new method of stirring then asked "Do you know any spell that can help us stirr?"

He thought...and looked around as he did. As he was scanning he noticed a glint of metal by one of the plants.

He pointed toward it and asked Julie, "Do you think we could use that?"

"Ohhh good idea Lumus, its metal.. hold on ill bring it for you".
Julie got off her stool and brought the metal bar and handed it to Lumus "There you go, watch out for the heat though." and sat back on her stool eyeing the mixture carefuly.

Lumus reached into his robes and found the glove he kept there. Don't know why he did it, but always carried a glove. He slipped it on and grasped the bar and began to slowly stir the mixture. He looked back at Julie, "Ok, what next?"

Professor Virohsa walked around and seeing that students were about to be done, she decided to end the class. "Very well. Just make sure to leave your rocks labeled. I will take them through the process of becoming fossils in the greenhouse", she added. "After you are done, feel free to inquire about these fossils. We will learn more about them next term, when your knowledge and ability to use plants will be heightened", she explained.
