Rave placed her cauldron over the fire and added the water and oil. After a few minutes it began to boil and she added the ground black pepper and ground sneezewort she looked back up at the board to make sure she was right, then stirred the potion 25 time counter clockwise. She let it boil for 5 minutes and added the sneezewort blossoms and stirred counter clockwise 10 times. She then added the chicken feathers and stirred another 25 times counter clockwise. While it was boiling she stirred it 5 times counter clockwise and then 1 time clockwise, 5 times counter clockwise and then 1 time clockwise and did this until 5 minutes was up. She left the potion boil for another 5 minutes then took it off the fire.

Taylor got all of the ingredients that were on the board. He quietly began to brew his potion occasionally looking at other peoples potion make sure his looked the same.

Gaby gets out her cauldron, potion ingredients, etc. Since it doesn't take long for oil and water to boil, she decides to grind up the black pepper and sneezewart first. Gaby places about five pepper corns in her mortor and ginds the up. She measurs out .5 grams and places it in a bowl. She then adds about two sneezewort leaves, they tend to be big, and grinds them into a fine powder. Gaby then checks the recipe. Since the pepper and sneezewrt leaves can be added at the same time, she puts the powder in with the ground pepper. Gaby then goes and gets 500mL of water and 50mL of oil and puts them in her cauldron. She lights a fire under it and gets the process going.

Tina also wrote down the actual ingrediants and the procedure to make this potion. She then carefully put these notes away as to not get wet or damaged in any way. When she finished doing this, Tina grabbed the neccesary ingrediants and started to brew the potion.

Sarah was nearly finished her potion she added the feathers and followed the rest of the instructions and took her cauldron off the heat and looked at the ravenclaw that asked the question wondering what the answer could be

Linnea nodded and looked over the directions several times before she began.

She measured out 500mL of water and the mL of oil, put them into her cauldron together over the fire on her desk. As she waited for them to boil she measured out her other ingredients. When the water and oil started boiling she added in the 0.5g of black pepper and the 5g of sneezewort ground, dry leaves. She carefully stirred them 25 times counter-clockwise before allowing them to boil for 5 minutes. She added the 5 sneezewort blossoms stirring 10 times counterclockwise and then added in the chicken feathers and stirred 25 more times counter-clockwise. She allowed it to boil for five minuets and stirred 5 more times, counter-clockwise then 1 time clockwise and repeated the process. She took her stirring stick out and allowed the additives to boil for 5 minutes, untouched by her before removing it from the heat.

She looked into her cauldron and raised her hand, "Professor, does my....." she hunted for the word, "Suffusion look right?"

Taylor finally finished his potion...he looked over at Sarah's potion. His looked just like hers, so he thought that he did it right.

Sabrina removed her equipment from her bag and set out all of her ingredients in a row. She measured out the 500mL of water and 50mL of vegetable oil. She lit her flame after she poured the oil and water into the cauldron. As she waited for the mixture to boil, she began to measure out her other ingredients. She began to grind her sneezewort and black pepper. All of a sudden, she began sneezing. Oh, dear she thought as she leaned away from the ingredients. I didn’t think it would affect me. She quickly finished grinding her pepper and sneezewort, sneezing a few times in between.

She then added the ground sneezewort and black pepper to the now boiling mixture. She placed her ladle in the cauldron and began to stir 25 times moving in a counter-clockwise motion and then allowed it to boil for 5 minutes. While she was waiting she began to prepare the sneezewort blossoms. As she began counting, her hand brushed against one of the blossoms, causing it to fall off the edge of the table. She reached down quickly and caught it just before it hit the ground. “Whew” she whispered “They don’t call me Speedy for nothing.”

She dumped the blossoms into the cauldron and stirred it 10 times counter-clockwise. She then added the chicken feathers and stirred 25 times counter-clockwise. While allowing the potion to boil for another 5 minutes, she stirred 5 times counter clockwise and then 1 time clockwise, carefully counting the times that she stirred in each direction. After stirring it, she let it sit for another 5 minutes, turned off the heat, and removed it from the flame. After staring into the cauldron to see the finished product, she glanced around to see how her classmates’ potions had turned out.

Julie was awaken from her daydream by the heat that was emerging from the cauldron onto her face, remembring that she had to work on potion brewing she looked at the board and saw the next set of instructions.
She tied her long her up in a pony tail, the last thing she wanted was her hair in the potion. Then began preparing 0.5 g of ground black pepper, 5 g of ground dry sneezewort, 5 sneezewort blossoms, and 5 chicken feathers.
As she finished preparing the remaining ingredients, her cauldron came to boil, she add ground black pepper and ground sneezewort, and started stirring 25 times counter-clockwise, she concentrated hard to make sure its 25 times after what happened last time. Once she finished stirring she left the cauldron to boil for 5 minutes.

Adrienne put on her safety gear. She then measured out her ingredients. She brought her water ad oil to a boil and added the pepper and ground sneezewort and stirred it. She reread her instructions while it boiled. After five minutes, she added the sneezewort blossom and stirred it counter-clockwise ten times. She then added the chicken feathers and stirred it twenty-five times counter-clockwise. Adrienne let it boil while stirring it five times counter-clockwise, then one time clockwise, and repeated. She was happy when it came time to let it boil unstirred, because by this time her arm hurt from all that stirring. After five minutes she removed it from the heat source. She felt confident she had donr it right this time.

Before Rose does anything, she puts on her dragon-skinned gloves.
Rose lays all the ingredients on her desk making sure everything is proportioned correctly and gets started byt bringing the water and oil to a boil. She grounds the pepper and sneezewort while trying not to sneeze and adds them to the boiling water and oil. Stirring clockwise, Rose counts off,"3...4...5..." all the way to 25. She waits for it to boil for five minutes and then adds sneezewort blossoms and stirs 10 times counter-clockwise. She then adds the chicken feather and stirs it 25 times counter-clockwise. While the mixture is boiling, she stirs counter-clockwise for 5 times and then 1 clockwise stir for 5 minutes. Rose lets it boil for 5 minutes without stirring and then removes it from the heat. I hope I did it right.

Emma took out her ingredients, and carefully mixed them into the water. Making sure that in the end, the potion would not blow up, like she had foreseen in a dream the night before...

Exactly 5 minutes passed, Julie added the 5 sneezewort blossoms then stirred 10 times counter-clockwise, then she added 5 chicken feathers then stirred 25 times counter-clockwise, thinking why is chicken feathers part of this potion.
Once she finished stirring she kept the potion to boil for 5 minutes while stirring 5 times counter-clockwise then 1 time clockwise, then 5 minutes counter-clockwise then 1 time clockwise until the 5 minutes were complete. She then left the cauldron to boil for another 5 minutes. Which she though was sufficient to peaking at what other students are doing.

Fancy started gathering her ingredients together and laying them to the side. She set her pewter cauldron in front of her, determined to get the brew right. Glancing up at the blackboard, Fancy scanned the ingredients and instructions.

She poured the water and the oil in her cauldron and lit a fire so she could bring it to a boil. While waiting for the water and oil to boil, she began to ground her pepper and sneezewort, making sure that they were perfect. When Fancy noticed that bubbles were appearing in her cauldron and steam was rising above the rim, she added the freshly-ground pepper and sneezewort leaves.

"21...22...23...24...25." Fancy counted to herself as she stirred the brewing solution in her cauldron counterclockwise. She then glanced at her watch and began timing for five minutes for the potion to boil. While she was waiting for the five minutes to be up, Fancy counted out 5 sneezewort blossoms and 5 down chicken feathers.

Once the 5 mintues were up, Fancy added the 5 blossoms and stirred 10 times counterclockwise, then the 5 feathers and stirred the potion 25 times counterclockwise.

"There sure is a lot of stirring to this potion." Fancy thought to herself. She glanced at her watch periodically for the next 5 minutes, repeating the "5 times counterclockwise, 1 time clockwise" stirring pattern. She then had to wait another 5 minutes for the potion to boil, so she decided to take advantage of the waiting and decided to raise her hand and ask Professor Branxton a few questions about the Sneezing Suffusion.

"Professor, exactly how is this supposed to used if we're not supposed to ingest it or get it on our skin? And what color and texture should the completed suffusion have?"

As Fancy completed her question, she glanced into her steaming, boiling cauldron and examined the potion. Some of the fumes made their way into her nostrils and Fancy could feel a sneeze coming on.

Achoo! Fancy covered her mouth with her sleeve and sneezed as quietly as possible. "Well, at least the potion seems to be right." She thought to herself.

Rave sat back in her chair and looked around the room. Her gaze rested on her cousin Julie. She had been acting odd lately always glaring at Rave and telling her she was watching her. Rave couldnt understand why. She was acting as she always had and didnt know why the sudden change in her cousins action. O well Rave thought I'll get to the bottom of this before long

Once the last 5 minutes passed Julie removed the heat from under her cauldron, and left the potion to cool down to room temperature. She sat there in her stool peaking if her potion looks like everyone else's.
She grinned at sabrina, whom seems to have done a good job on her potion brewing.

While still looking at everyone elses work from her seat, Julie caught raven's eyes and smiled at her. Raven gave julie a weird look, or maybe a look of confusion.
Julie understood why, it was because recently she kept telling her that she was keeping an eye on her. But julie had to, she considers raven as a sister and was worried about her, she seems to have a crush on the potion's professor which could end up hurting her.

Rose studied other students' potions and compared them to hers. No one was talking it seemed like everyone went mute. The silence annoyed Rose she started humming the school song.

Ozzy set up his cauldron and laid out all of the ingredients in their respectful order and prepared them. He filled the cauldron with the 500 mL of water and 50 mL of oil. He withdrew his wand and jabbed it at the burner beneath the cauldron "Incendio!" He murmered and stuffed his wand away.

He allowed the oil and water to boil before adding the finely ground balck pepper and sneezewart powder to the concotion. He stirred counter-clockwise twenty-five times. He allowed the potion to boil for the directed five minutes while reading up and double cheking the instructions.

Taylor sat there looking at other students potions waiting until everyone got done.

"That's an excellent question and one I was going to address as soon as we finished brewing our potions. I don't want you to lose your concentration while stirring. While we're waiting for our potions to cool, I will discuss the effects of this potion should it come in contact with skin or should you ingest it," he replied as he went around to check on the progress. He gave nods of approval to all who had finished so far.

After the 5 minutes were up, Fancy decided that she would simply have to wait until Professor Branxton described the potion in more detail before she would know if it was correct. He hadn't told her specifically that her's was wrong, and considering that the fumes had caused her to sneeze a few moments earlier, she was guessing that she was at least on the right track. If she had done something wrong, maybe there would be a possibility to rebrew it. With that determination, Fancy extinguished the fire underneath her cauldron and then placed the cauldron at another spot on her desk, waiting for it to cool. She stared attentively at Professor Branxton, awaiting to learn more about the potion she had just made.

OOC: Unfortunately, my bed is calling me. I have to go to work at 9 am. I will return tomorrow!

After the oil and water comes to a boil, Gaby adds the pepper and ground sneezewort and starts stirring. 23, 24, 25... Now it need to boil for 5 minutes. Gaby checks her watch and starts collecting the 5 sneezewort blossoms. She starts sneezing the pollen fills the air. With 5 mimutes up, Gaby adds the sneezewort blossoms and stirs 10 times clockwise. She then adds the chicken feathers and stirs 25 times counter-clockwise. After that she lets the mixture boil for 5 minutes then stirring counter-clockwise for 5 times and then clockwise one time for five minutes. Then you boil for another 5 minutes without stirring. "This potion sure is complicated. There must be an easier way to make someone sneeze." Gaby follows the recipe and looks at her potion. It's bright yellow. The professor said it should be a brownish yellow. "Professor Braxton, I'm having a problem with my potion. It doesn't seem to be the right color."

After the concoction was boiling nicely Ozzy added the sneezewart blossoms and stirred counter-clockwise . "...5....6.... 8... 10." He murmered as he counted down the times he stirred. He looked to his notes. "add 5 chicken feathers... and stir 25 times counter-clockwise..." He mumbled to himself and reached out for the feathers. He sunk the feathers into the simmering cauldron and stirred counter-clockwise for the directed ammount of time.

Ozzy looked at step 6 of the instructions. "Okay... for 5 mins stir five times counter-clockwise then one time clockwise... untill the five minutes are up..." He said quietly to himself and followed this step carefully. As he did this step he noticed that the potion began to turn a faint brownish yellow, shrugging his shoulders he placed his laddle onto the table and let the potion simmer for five mins without stirring, before extinguishing the flame as he followed the next step the potion began to turn a fadded brownish-yellow. "I think that's done it." He said and removed his gloves and goggles and wrote down some notes.

After finishing his potion, Taylor wrote down the ingredients for future refrence.

c00kie dotted down the notes and begin brewing the potion. " 15, 16 , 17..." she whispered to herself, praying that she wouldn't lose count.
