Meghan looked at the object on the professors desk. So that was a sneakoscope. She had always wanted to see one since she had read about one a few years ago. It was an interesting thing.

Rae smiled and lifted the sneakoscope, bringing it out into the center of the room so that everyone could look at it. She set it on a desk and tapped it with her wand. It seemed to do nothing for a moment and then immediately started to scream and spin. "I suppose it must be true, Eunice," she called over the noise.

Although, from the strength and speed of the reaction, I suppose more than one of you do?" She laughed at some of the uncomfortable looks. "Most of the devices we have like this, including the Secrecy Sensor, cannot determine the kind or severity of the secret being kept." She returned to her desk, leaving the noisy sneakoscope in place. From behind the desk, she pulled an intricate set of wires and antennae. It began to hum.

The Secrecy Sensor," she touched an antenna, "is very similar to a sneakoscope. A bit quieter, but not enough to try to go 'round with it in your pocket. If you could fit it in your pocket."
