The DADA classroom was opened. The desks were pushed to the front of the room so that there was plenty of open space in the back of the room. Rae entered the room and eyed the open windows that were letting in plenty of air and sunlight. It was such a mild day, perfect for a walk by the lake after class. Alone for sure.

ooc:I see we've rediscovered DADA. Haha. We're done... how about some homework?

"Alright, that's enough practice for now. I hope you feel comfortable enough with these spells to continue to practice them in the comfort of the Duelling Arena. Your homework assignment is posted on the board behind me." She waved her wand.

DADA Homework Assignment 2:
Due January 21, 2006 by midnight EST.

Please list five non-defensive spells that can be used for defensive purposes. Points will be awarded for spelling the incantation and spell name correctly and for explaining how it could be used. Create a secondary list in which you list ways that you, as a defender, could counteract those same spells. If you include defensive spells in your first list, you will receive no points.

Ex: List 1:
1. Cast Silencio to prevent opponent from speaking, and thus from being able to cast a verbal spell.

List 2:
1. Cast nonverbally.

Fancy placed her wand in the pocket inside her black school robes. She hoisted her bag, which was bursting with books, onto her shoulder. Fancy almost lost of balance but she steadied herself in time so that she didn't fall flat on face. She walked slowly and somewhat painfully to the door, and called to Professor Rae.

"Goodbye Professor!" Fancy left the room and eagerly walked towards the Slytherin Common room.

Copying her homework into her planner as always, Eunice said, "Thanks for the great lesson, Professor!" She packed up her belongings and headed out of the class.

Ozzy put his wand away and made his way back over to his seat. He wrote out the homewok assignment in his DADA notebook and packed away his possesions into his backpack. He rose from his seat and made his way over to the Professor. "Thank you for the awesome lesson Professor!" He said, smiled and turned to go. He reached for door latch, opened the door and slipped behind it.
