The Defense classroom was looking clean and bright, and Rae smiled at the obvious effort of the house elves. She settled behind her desk with a quill and parchment, prepared for her first lesson of the term.

Astoria's eyes widened and she started to chuckle at the story Professor Rae told. It was hard to believe that her and Professor Lainey used to be screw ups at one point in history. It was a story that was hard to believe, but it was funny.
