Today’s lesson taking place inside, you walk into a large stone classroom with high windows. The room is bright and airy and filled with sounds and smells. The side walls are lined with cages of all shapes and sizes, and up the middle of the room is two long rows of wooden desks with very comfy chairs. At the head of the classroom is a large mahogany desk; behind it is a large tank covered with a sheet to hide it’s content.
Sounds of various animals fill the room and give it a never-ending theme song. As you walk in, the first thing you notice is the beautiful song of a magnificent Phoenix that is sitting on the professor’s desk. Calming you and making you feel less nervous, you walk confidently to find a seat.
Hello! Welcome to Care of Magical Creatures. Please make yourself comfortable as you wait for the rest of the students to arrive. You may look around the room a bit if you wish. | |

Taylor walked into the classroom and saw a very high ceiling with cages hung all around. He set down his bag at an empty desk and began to walk around the classroom looking inside all the cages. Taylor eventually wondered over to the teachers desk, where a pheonix was perched, singing. He went back to his seat and got out his blue quill and a few peices of parchment and waited for class to begin.

Christy entered the room, she could hear her own footsteps the room was nearly empty. She walked to one of the tables and sat down. She took all her supplies out, trying to be as silent as she could be and examined the head of the classroom where a large tank covered with a sheet was hiding it’s content.

Athena walked in and took a seat by Amanda. She took out her books and set them up so that they could be easily reached, if needed. She then sorted other papers from other classes and put them into her bag. Seeing that she still had time to relax, she turned to the girl. "Hi!" she said with a smile. "My name's Athena."

Taylor noticed that another first year Ravenclaw girl sit beside him. Taylor acknowledged her smile by nodding his head. He didnt want to loose house points for talking.

Julie walked into care of magical class, and sat quietly she didn't pay attention to where she sat. She hoped romey will show up soon with sabrina.
She turned around to see who sat next to her, then she realised Mithos was next to her. Uncontrollably she smiled at him, she then blushed and faced the front of the class awaiting the professor to start

Taylor raised his hand..."My favourite creature would have to be the Thestral. I think they are intresting creatures. I find it highly fascinating that only people who have seen death are able to see them. I also find it odd that they are attracted to the scent of blood, but wont attack a human-sized target without provocation."

Chris walks into the class room, looks around and smiles. He sits down near the front of his desk and eagerly gets out some parchmetn, ink and quills. Its easy to say Professor Dainsie is Chris's favorite teacher at Hogwarts so far. (sorry this was late, computer lagged)
Chris raised his hand. "My favorite magical creture is a Nuffler!" he exclaimed happily. "Just because they are small, fury, and can find almost anything gold!!"

Emma let her attention wander to the singing phoenix.. so beautiful...
When the teachers voice sounded through the room Emma almost autmatically said "Phoenix! Pretty!" but then thought. Eventually she said. "Probably merpeople, professor. Their culture and customs and launguage are so weirdly intriguing!"

With a pleasant smile she raised her hand "My favourite creature is the phoenix because of it's red and gold plumage, golden beak, golden talons and beautiful song, which gives strength and hope to those it sings for" she said.

Erin raised her hand again. "I changed my mind" she said witha smile. "I like jarveys. They look like ferrets and they can talk. I love animals that can talk. Oh! And jobberknolls." She said. "It fascinates me that through their whole lifetime, they don't make any sounds at all, until they die and they let out a long shriek filled with all of the sounds they have ever heard backwards. If I had one of those as a pet, it's shriek would be really, really long, because I talk so much,,,,, sorry." Erin apoligized, noticing she was starting to ramble.
