Welcome to Charms! You enter the old classroom to find it looking very different from usual. There are still desks for all the students to sit in, but standing on every desk is a miniture door, about a foot tall. As always, take a seat and wait patiently for the professor to show up.
OOC: Feel free to RP yourself into the classroom, but try to keep chatting to a minimum. I'll be back in about half an hour to begin the lesson.

Sirien watched as several other students, including Sabrina and Jacob, also received their 'squelching' noises. "Well, one things for sure. No rat will dare enter here!" she said staring at the miniature door.

Taking out her wand, Jessica positioned herself to face the door perfectly. "Colloportus," she said clearly, her wand aloft. A soft but squelching noise assured her it had worked. Wow! Just in the first try! She always had to practice much before success, but fo the first tim ever, it had worked on the first try. This was amazing! She nearly squealed in delight.

Haefalaswen scribbled everything that has been said. She knew the answers of course, but she just wasnt quick enough.
"Ok... Here we go..." she thought to herself. She glanced at Sebastian, who really seemed to know what he was doing... Well, he did answer all the questions right, DUH...
She raised her wand, took a deep breath and pointed it at the door saying "Co...Colloportus". The door seemed to shake a little but then nothing else happened. She glanced nervously at Sebastian to see what he was doing... "Hmmmm... That's not right" she thought looking at the stream of light.

brenda took out her wand and pointed at the little door and yelled "Colloportus." At first nothin happened and she had wonder if she did it right. then she tried again and she had finally heard a squelching noise. she was very pleased and now looked around to see how the other students were doing.

Deciding that a locked miniature door wasn't exactly useful, Sirien took the professor's advice and tried the other spell. "Alohamora!" She said flicking her wand at the door. Uncertain if it worked, she tried to open it. "Ah, success!"

Once she locked the little door, Emma concentrated as hard as she could "Alohamora" she yelled a little to loudly, she was surprised that not everyone was looking at her, and a little embarassed too. But nonetheless, the door opened with a quiet little click. She smiled as she succeded one of her first magical tricks!

Evy pointed her wand at the door, concentrated and said "Alohomora!" The door made a distinctive noise, and the girl was able to open it. Fairly easy for a fourth year, she thought. She smiled as she saw other students succeeding.
She opened and locked her door a few more times before putting her wand down and taking a few notes.

Erin picked up her wand and said "Alohamora" very forcefully. The door unlocked and opened. Erin smiled at her success. She tried to lock the door again. "Colloportus" she said in a comanding tone. The squelching noise was loud and made her very proud. She unlocked the door again with "Alohamora" Erin kept locking and unlocking the door until she barely had to think about what she was saying. She realized that when her voice was loud and commanding, her spells and charms seemed to work better.

Talons raised her wand again "Alohomora," she said quietly. Nothing happened. Confidence!! she reminded herself mentally. "Alohomora!" she said again, and the door clicked open. Charms was by far her favorite class. Talons locked and unlocked the small door several more times until she was sure she had mastered the spell. She then tucked her wand away and wrote down the spells' names and functions so she couldn't forget them. Then in large letters across the top of the archment, she wrote 'CONFIDENCE.' That seemed to be the key to everything.

Alright, unlocking shouldn't be hard.
Jacob then pointed his wand at the door. ALOHAMORA!
The spell effected the door greatly, for the handle came right off. Then it flew right into Jacob's face. Ow. Jacob then checked to see if he was bleeding, but thankfully, he wasn't.
I got to check if there is actually a need for overdoing it. | |

Hmm, locking wasn't hard, so unlocking it shouldn't be that hard either
Sabrina closed her eyes again, cleared her mind and then pointed the wand at the door. "Alohomora" she said clearly. She heard the click of the door and she reached forward, swinging it open.
