| | |  Bulletin Board: Special HoH Announcement
As a means to promote house unity and pride as well as have a bit of fun, I am hosting a "Slytherin House Motto" contest. Mottos should be concise and to the point, preferably a simple phrase, something catchy. Owl (ooc: PM) me your motto(s) proposal by January 16th at 11:29pm GMT. I will chose ten mottos (or less, depending upon the number of submissions) which I feel imbibe the Slytherin House spirit and create a poll where Slytherins can vote for their favorite. The winner will be our motto for the term and perhaps even future terms. This motto can then be used in signatures, Slytherin Superbia badges and banners, etc.

EDIT: ooc: Let's try and come up with some more that don't have 'evil' as the focus. The books never called Slytherin house evil (maybe the characters think so but, JK has never said so). It just happens to be the house that has turned out more dark wizards than the others (implying that the other houses have turned out their fair share of dark wizards, as well and Slytherin has produced some perfectly non-evil wizards such as Slughorn). Slytherin has always gotten a bad rap in our school RP so, why don't we try and focus on our strengths rather than pandering to the bad press our house gets.  | |
