Professor Fox opened the Arithmancy classroom and stepped in. He conjured a large box to appear on the instructor's desk at the front of the room. He then removed a small, old wooden box and set it near the front of the desk. Fox wrote silently on the board at the front:

Applied Arithmancy: Spell numerization
We will be continuing using concepts covered in last year's courses. This term we will be applying the theory we learned last term directly to curse breaking.

New Students:
If you are unfamiliar with the matereial covered last term, simply try to keep up. This material will be new for everyone, so try your best to learn as we go and interject your ideas and opinions when asked. I will not deduct points for incorrect answers, and questions are always welcome. However, we stay on topic in my classroom, and I don't tolerate rule breakers or class clowns.

Having written that, he turned his attention to the now empty seats and waited for everyone to begin arriving.

Meghan set her notes down and said, "ok how does this sound for 52... being aware of the physical world around you as in reality and understanding the difference between the 2 dimendions of ...the universe i guess." She looked around and than shook her head. "I feel like im missing something."

37 "Sure, 37. Perhaps the mysteriousness of the nature of the process of intelligence, problem solving, magic, etc." "I'm not sure though, this is my first time doing this

080 "080, perhaps the fluidity from which thought changes from emptiness to complex thought in a matter of seconds." she said trying another.

28-having a wide awareness of existence in order to achieve complex thought/reasoning

Professor Fox raised an eyebrow at the over-eager students. They certainly were chatty and up-beat. Taking a breath, he addressed the class. "Okay everyone, I think each of you has the general idea. Now, I will need a volunteer for this next exercise. If you would like to volunteer, please raise a hand. If you do not want to volunteer, please don't do anything." He looked around the classroom as he walked to the front of the desk and leaned against it.

Alex gave the Professor a small smile before returning back to her piece of parchment. Frowning slightly and still staring at the notes from before, the girl bit her lip and started muttering to herself.

She scribbled down a few notes and crossed out sentences, not really paying attention to the girl she had sat down next to. Truth be told, Alex was more of a.. well, not loner, no, but she didn't open up to people very easily.

37 - representative of the solving of problems and of a supernatural world... it might be a spell for the supernatural, or a powerful spell to find solutions.

52 - to understand things from the psychical world.

080 - something which might be able to throw people off course and misguide them, since 0 stands for change and 8 stands for navignation.

28 - evolving magic or something that might help one understand maps better.

The girl's quill stoppped on the parchment when she heard the Professor talk. Debating whether she should volunteer or not, Alex frowned for a second before raising her hand.

yea i agree and i think 080 is change in movement/navigation towards emptiness/nothingness... what do you think?

Evy remained silent as the professor spoke and wasn't sure she wanted to volunteer for the next exercise. What were those boxes for anyways? She decided to wait for someone else to raise their hand, but she'd raise hers if no one else wanted to.

Mercurio mumbled words in a strange language at the back of the classroom. A note by the side of his desk read, Mercurio Rodriguez, Slytherin 4th year. He kicked the table and was ready to give up, changing from dictating to his quill in Spanish to the uttering of a couple of curses he had to erase later. In that he spotted another Slytherin student. He eyed her and then at the back trying to spot Adolph. Finally, he opted to push his untidy scrawed paper work towards the girl as a sign to ask her if she wanted to work together.

i agree with 28 but instead of achieve it could be awarenece of existence of movement of complex thoughts and as for
52 could be the reality of human magic and safety of it when understanding magic
as for 19 its the unity of power and strength

what do you thinkn sabrina?

Evy noticed a small hufflepuff standing by the door and looking very confused. She whispered to him "Stay in class and sit down, the teacher will start another exercice."
