Laurasia wrote down notes on the spell & looked around for a partner. Spotting Nadia, Zekke & Jaren in a group she decided...why not. He did say partners & there was only 3 of them over there. She walked over to them.

"Hi guys. Care if I partner up with one of you for this?"

She was just Accio-ing the last object back to the desk when addressed. Nadia nodded and beamed, "My pleasure," she mocked bowed. Not only her good results on the vanishing spells were acting on her mood, she was also remembering with some humor the results of the Apparition Practice at some point.

"I take it we are to get on different spots in the room, each of us. Then we can start the vanishing - ah, thanks Lee," she said, taking a deck of cards offered. "Now, how far should we get from each other?"

She pondered this as Larausia came forwards. She smiled at the smaller girl, "Of course, the more the merrier!" She laughed and looked around, then raised herself from her seat and moved to the other side of the room, where she waved though the crowd of moving students to let them know she was ready. Now let them spread and she could vanish the first card.

Ginny aimed her wand at the bit of parchment. With all her concentration, she said quietly, "Evanesco." Ginny saw that it had landed in the basket. She had gained some confidence and so she moved towards each object successfully vanishing each object.

Noel looked around, Nadia was with Zekke and Jaren and Laurasia had just went over to join them. She bit her lip, practicing her wand movements skillfully as she searched for a partner. She collected a text book, parchment and a deck of cards. Now all she needed was another person.....

"Nice to meet you as well," she said to Jenna. Athena smiled at her partner and got ready. "Here I go!" she said quietly. She pointed her wand at her own piece of parchment and said the spell, "Evanesco".

She smiled as her parchment appeared, and landed neatly on top of Jenna's head. "Sorry!" she said. "I guess I need to work on my aim as well!" Then, she laughed. "Well, at least nothing of ours has exploded...yet" she said with a grin.

"Okay, your turn again!" Athena said. She couldn't stop smiling. This was a lot of fun so far, and she was kind-of getting the hand of it.

At the mention of working in pairs Ozzy sighed inwardly. "Here we go again with the pairing up thing, I hate it when we have to work together!" He thought to himself. "Its to blasted hard to find a partner... especially when your an ani-social person like me, and don't know anyone on top of it all... I'm a solo type... I don't like to mingle with everyone else..." He continued on with his thoughts as he looked around for someone to pair up with. When he didn't see anyone, he took a few deep breaths. "Would someone like to pair up with me?" He called out in a calm voice, once he had relaxed, and rid himself of his negative thoughts.

Ginny was waiting for someone to ask her if she could be their partner.

Peony grinned, and took a piece. "Are we allowed to eat in class?" It was a rhetorical question. Even if she hadn't been allowed to, there was nothing to be done about the subsequent punishment. The candy was in her mouth.

She had been waiting, a little nervously, for her turn, but then Professor McAiken advised them to pair up. Peony gave a little groan, she had actually been hoping that the slow process might give her a few pointers.

"You want to pair up, Ash?" she asked, turning to her friend. A Slytherin boy that she had seen around was also looking about for a partner. Impulsively, Peony called him over. "Do you mind being in a threesome?"

Ginny was now angry. She felt like an outsider since nobody was talking to her.

Violet started looking for a partner. "Doesn anybody want to be with me?"

Ginny spotted Violet.

"Do you want to be my partner?" she asked.

"Sure! Nice to meet you by the way... Do you want to go first or should I go?"

"You can go first," Ginny replied.

"ok..." Violet said nervously "Here I go!" she concentrated on the three D's and pointed her wand at the parchment. She finally said "Evanesco!" then the parchment suddenly disappeared and then reappeared inside her cloaks hood. She said "Oops... at least I got the thing moving! I should concentrate more on where I want to put it! Now you can go Ginny!"

Ginny concentrated hard on the spell. Aiming her wand at the parchment, she said "Evanesco!" Ginny managed to make it reappear near a basket.

"WOw! that was great! Let me try again.... " She concentrate very hard aiming her wand at the parchment and said "Evanesco!" The parchment dissappeared and reappeared, now on the table just where she wanted it to be. "yay! it worked!!"

"Thanks and well done on your next effort. What happens now?" Ginny replied.

Patrick stood behind the desk and perform the first spell on the parchment. It gave a slight pop then was gone. Patrick looked accross the room to his partner's desk and there it set. "Cool" thought Patrick. He contince on the the deck of cards.

Jaren nodded silently. "You start."

Jenna smiled as the parchement floated onto her head. "What do you mean yet?" She laughed. It was her turn again.

"I'll try with the deck of cards this time." She stood in position and concentrated on the three D's. Raising her wand, Jenna tried another non-verbal spell.

Evanseco! She said silently. The cards dissappeared and reappeared by Athena's feet. She smiled, but when she looked back at the table, two cards were still sitting there.

"Oh no!" She frowned and waved her wand. The cards flew back into the pile with the others. "Alright, your turn again!"

Nadia watched around though the mess of students. Larausia was the most nearby, while Jaren and Zekke wouldn't split. She was very tempted to mirror-calling them to get a move on. Ozzy seemed partnerless for a bit before Peony called him, and others were slowly finding their place. Sighing and since it looked she will have to start this anyways, she took the deck of cards and started--

Quite fast, faster than you could say Wizengamot, she had used Evanesco in the cards one by one, each to a different location. Though, a couple of people got two; Laurasia and Jaren and only with Zekke she correctly sent only one. Now they had what to vanish towards one another.

Kalaya was dissapointed when she heard they had to work in partners.

No one ever asks if they want to partner with me, and my 2 friends seemed to have dissappeared off the face of...this school!

Kalaya looked around for the girl who had asked to sit with her earlier (harry_potter_13) but had trouble spotting her. Sighing she looked for someone to partner with.

Laurasia watched as Nadia made all of the cards disappear & reappear in different locations with wide eyes. "Oh wow, I've never tried this type of spell before. No laughing, Nadia." She said this last bit with a twinkle in her eye.

She focused her attention on the card in front of her. She saw clearly in her mind that the card was going to re-appear in a basket next to Nadia once she had cast her spell. Quickly she stated the incantation "Evanesco!".

To her dismay the card remained right where it was. She cleared her throat & tried again. Nothing. She frowned slightly & looked up at Nadia with a pitiful expression. "Am I saying the incantation right, Nadia?"

Heshasa looked around for a partener seeing a nice looking Hufflepuff girl who didn't seem to have a partener. Walking over to her she said hi my name is Heshasa, do you want to be my partener?

Realizing, with some surprise, that some one was addressing her Kalaya shook her head. Realizing what she had just done she quickly tried to fix it.
"Hi Heshasa, I'm Kalaya. Sure I'll be your partner."
