Professor McAiken opens the door to the Transfiguration classroom. He hopes the students will enjoy the lesson today. He began to prepare the room. One the long side tables McAiken began to place the subjects for the lesson. On the first table went the non-living things, then on the second he stacked cages, and aquariums. At the head of room he placed a basket and a box. He went over in his mind exactly how the class would go. He finally had every set he took his seat and began to wait.

Ali walkes into the room and looks at the different tables.
He looks round and notices that Professor McAiken is sat at his seat. Ali walks passed him and says "Hello Professor".
Sitting down,Ali takes hit equipement out and waits for his classmates to arrive.

Rosa walked in and noticed the different tables. She sat down at the back of the class at the table with the cages and got out her transfiguration book and wand. Then she just looked at all the animals moving through their cages and aquariums waiting for class to start.

Alex walked in the Transfiguration classroom and looked around carefully. There were a few students there, but it looked like there were mostly Ravenclaws. ... where were all the Slytherins?

"Professor," she muttered with a polite nod and made her way to the back of the classroom. The girl placed her bag under her chair, but not before taking out a piece of parchment and a quill to write with.

Lee walked into the second Transfiguration lesson this term which was scheduled for the now. Hoping he wasn't late he walked in with hardly any presence of other students. Surveying the classroom he noticed some boxes and baskets at the other end which told him that they would be doing practical work today.

If there was anyone Lee could rely on for practical classwork it was definitely Professor McAiken. Lee took his usual seat in this classroom which was in the middle rows of the class where he emptied his necessary equipment onto the desk.

He sat on his chair with his wand behind his ear, as per usual. Drumming his fingers on the desk to a small tune which he had stuck in his head. Lee had been dying to ask Professor McAiken about the crush on Lainey rumour, but he kept it to himself. Last thing Lee needed was a detention for nosying into Professors personal lives.

Zekke settled into his usual chair and took out his writing supplies. He glanced around as he did so and realized that he was more than just a little early for once.

Noel entered the classroom and took a seat up front, she waved to Alex and nodded politel to the professor. Transfiguration was her best subject, also her favorite.

Terry walks into the classroom and notices all the items Professor McAiken has put out for class today. "Hellor, professor, it's nice to have you back at Hogwarts. If you need any help with class today, please let me know." Terry finds a seat next to Lee. She hasn't seen him in a while.

Lee turns to face Terry who had just taken a seat next to him. "Long time no see, I take it you got my message?" Lee asked referring to the one he had sent Zulu with to give to Terry. "Are you still up for investigating on his a bit more? I think we should ransack his office personally," Lee said whispering so that no one else could hear their conversation.

"Right now I'd like to turn the professor into a rat. I had another run in with him in his office. I don't know what it is about him, but he seems to know just how to push my buttons. I don't think we will be able to examine his office anytime soon. He has a special charm on the door. You can't open it. He's the only one who can. He's definitely up to something. It seems like everytime I go to his office I hear him talking to someone. I can't make out what they are saying, but he's usually in a bad mood when he get finished. I'm open to suggestions."

"hmm, he certainly HAS thought of everything to keep us unaware," Lee agreed. "Well if we do do anything with him we should involve Erica, she has problems with him too i'm sure, besides the more the merrier. If there could be a way to distract him so that one of us could sneak in with your invisibilty cloak or something and do a quick search without his knowledge."

"Maybe we could do what we did last year, set of fireworks. Surely he would open his office door for that? then one of us could get him into conversation while the other sneaks in quickly or something," Lee shrugged. The situation seemed difficult to overcome but knowing Terry they would find some way.

Jacques walked into the classroom and looked around for someone he knew. He spotted that Alex girl from Slytherin sitting in the back. He wandered over and took the seat next to her.

Not sure if she remembered him, he smiled and said "Allo Alex" as he was getting out his supplies.

Alex gave a small nod to Zekke and Noel before turning her attention on the Slytherin boy that was addressing her. She stared into his eyes for second before answering him. "Jacques," she said, with a small nod.

That boy was something.

Zekke nodded back at Alex in greeting and opened his book to review some notes for class. Thinking back to HoM class, he idly wondered what was up with Professor McAiken...

He glanced up at the professor, his green eyes pensive.

"Fireworks would be fun, but not near his office. How about we use the old classroom he has set up for students to work on his puzzles. We could set off fire works or dung bombs in there. Maybe feed that raven of his a canary cream. I'm sure he would come running if he thought his bird was ill. One of us be standing next to his office under the invisiblity cloak waiting for him to leave his office. That person would have to quickly use a charm on the door to make sure it won't shut completely. The third person would come and get him. That person would have to also keep him busy in the classroom for a while. If he's talking to someone when I hear voices in his office, he must be using something like the two way mirrors Jaren gave us last term. Professor Fox doesn't have a fireplace in his office, so he not using the floo network. Whoever searches his office better be careful. Gameymede has place something under the professor's desk. I'm not sure what it does." Terry looks around to see where Professor McAiken is. She doesn't want him listening in on their conversation.

Jacques met Alex's eyes as she greeted him. He smiled and turned his attention to the other people in the classroom. He didn't know that many f them yet, and that was a shame.

He thought to himself he should try to get to know Alex better, she seemed very interesting...

"I like that plan. Erica i'm sure could feed the canary and let the fireworks and dung bombs loose since she works in the empty classroom already. Your probably best to search the office, you have a wider knowledge of the wizard world than us so you know what to look for and watch out for. Also your charms may be stronger than mine or Erica's," Lee offered.

"I'm more than happy to do the distracting by talking to him. I could pretend that i'm stuck with one of his stupid puzzles or something," Lee explained. "Also about those two way mirrors, maybe we could get them again? But for us, to keep in contact in the duration of the plan. Like when he leaves the classroom i could call on you to hurry up and get out. If he gets back and your still in the office you might be stuck, if he is the only one able to open the door to the office it must have to work both ways also," Lee said using all his brain power to try and make this plan perfect.

Amaris sauntered into the classroom in her usual attire: the school robes and on her head a bright tall purple hat. Glancing above her book entitled: Little Women, Ama tried spotting an empty seat. She had borrowed the book from a muggle-born friend and it was incredibly enough. pretty interesting. Not wanting to put the book down, Amaris continued to walk, her nose between the book, and stumbled with Jacques desk.

"So very sorry," she muttered and patted his shoulder with one hand, the other still holding the book up to her face.

Amaris dropped into an empty seat and retreated behind her book. Her face hidden, only her hat visible to others.

Zekke craned his head around and caught sight of Jacques. He'd recognize the French-inflicted tone of voice anywhere. He grinned and said hello in his native French tongue.

Unless with his parents and when he was attending social functions at home, he didn't speak French, so now that there was another French student...

He couldn't resist saying hello in his native tongue.

Jacques looked up and smiled as Ama entered the room. She didn't appear to see him, or anything else for that matter, as her head was glued to a book.

It was at this moment the Slytherin prefect turned around and said hello to him in French. Jacques nodded and replied, also in French. He didn't know the prefect spoke French, he wasn't even sure what the boy's name was. He asked the prefect what his name was.


Ama was still meandering to a seat when she bumped into his desk, jamming his hand between the desk and his thigh. Jacques groaned in pain and started shaking his hand. She patted him on the shoulder and sat down behind her book, not even acknowledging him. Ashlie was right, she was acting strangely, even more so than usual.

He leaned over to her desk and pulled the book away from her eyes.

"Hello Ama" he said casually, staring into her eyes. "Vot are you reading zat is so fascinating?"

ooc: Fox had said that if you are not on the office, you can't hear anything, like the door is sound proof =S You sure you should have that info?


Nadia walked inside the classroom and looked for an empty place to sit down. Just days after Apparitions and Nadia still thought it was too soon to deal with Tranfiguration for her. As she walked to her chosen seat somewhere at the back, since most places were getting full, she noticed Terry and Lee talking all secretively and her ears perked up.

But just as she passed by. But enough to pick the lines "canary cream" and even something about Jaren. Then she moved to some seat not far from Zekke and stayed here.

Rave walked into the classroom and nodded hello to the slytherins in the room before sitting down in a seat towards the middle of the room.

Amaris gasped. The main character was so amazing. She had managed to suck her in like no other book had done before. Mind you, that Ama was quite a bookworm so this really wasn't strange. Amaris flipped the page and began reading again then...she was interrupted.

Someone had pulled the book away. Talk about rude. Ama was about to insult whomever had dared touched the book in her posession but found herself unable to let out such anger. It was just Jacques.

"Heeeeeey Jacques," she whispered, her face flushed.

What was reading? How as she going to explain that she was reading perhaps the most girliest book of all time, Pride and Prejudice followingly closely behind?

"Oh...nothing!" She chimed and chucked the book over her shoulder.

"I was thinking about us casing a disturbance in the classroom, and you go and get him. I have no objections to checking his office. I didn't think about him trying to seal the door. I'm not sure if I could open it on my own. That might be a problem. Not that I'm not willing to get detention, I just don't know how he would react if he caught me in his office. I wonder if there's a way we could substitute a mirror with one that we could hear what they're saying too. Oh, I don't know if this is such a good idea. If he is some kind of spy, we could find ourselves in alot of trouble. I can't imagine why he would be spying here at Hogwarts. Oh I hate it when I like a teacher even when he doesn't like me. Oh what the hey, lets give it a try. All he can do is have Professor Rae expell me."


OOC: He hasn't said anything about me hearing a raspy voice. Can't make out anything they're saying though.

Jacques raised an eyebrow. Obviously she didn't want him to know what she was reading. He wondered what sort of book it was, and if he was more motivated he would have picked it up from where she had flung it. As it was his hand still throbbed from the impact with the desk and he got the feeling the professor wouldn't appreciate him foraging around the back of the classroom when class was about to start.

He would have to try other means...

"But if you do not tell me, I shall 'ave to assume the worst" he said, trying to keep a straight face.
