Today’s lesson taking place inside, you walk into a large stone classroom with high windows. The room is bright and airy and filled with sounds and smells. The side walls are lined with cages of all shapes and sizes, and up the middle of the room is two long rows of wooden desks with very comfy chairs. At the head of the classroom is a large mahogany desk; behind it is a large tank covered with a sheet to hide it’s content.

Sounds of various animals fill the room and give it a never-ending theme song. As you walk in, the first thing you notice is the beautiful song of a magnificent Phoenix that is sitting on the professor’s desk. Calming you and making you feel less nervous, you walk confidently to find a seat.

Hello! Welcome to Care of Magical Creatures. Please make yourself comfortable as you wait for the rest of the students to arrive. You may look around the room a bit if you wish.

Noel walked into the classroom and took a seat, she looked around the room, prefering not to look around. Being raised by muggles she found some magical creatures quite unnerving.

Christy entered the classroom. She could hear the beautiful phoenix song. 'She's very pretty Professor' Christy said, as she walked by Professors Dainsie desk. Christy sat in one comfy chair, she gave a look around her. I love this room.. she thought, while she scanned the high windows and cages of all shapes and sizes.

Martha enters the classroom, and finds a seat towards the front. She takes out a few pages of blank parchment, ink, and her favorite quill. She looks around the room to see if she recognizes some of the students, and realizes that she's one of the first students to arrive.

Sara walked in and took a seat. She loved animals. She had a feeling she was going to like this class. She then got up and walked over to a hufflepuff. "Hi!"

Selena entered the room. It reminded her of the Primate House at the muggle zoo back in Philadelphia. "Magical or not they all apparently smell the same" Selena thought to herself as she took a seat furtherest from any creature.

Anelreas entered the classroom and took a seat near the back of the class. It was her preferred spot. After the events of last year with Borr and his eating lobster, she knew it was safer in the back than in the front.

Tobias was not by her side. He had wanted to come, but there wasn't a chance Anelreas was letting him near the classroom. He just didn't seem to understand what magical and dangerous creatures meant.

Seeing Professor Dainsie in this room instead of her tower from previous years was a bit odd to Anelreas. She had loved Professor Dainsie when she taugth Astronomy and thought she was perfect for the job, what with her quiet nature. Even the thought of seeing the woman teach students about wild animals seemed unreal.

'Hello! Ready for the class? By the way I'm Christy' she said smiling

Laura walks into the classroom and looks around for her older sister. She sees her sitting in the front of the classroom and joins her, also taking out some parchment, ink, and a quill. She whispers a 'hi' and then remains quiet, waiting for the professor to begin class.

*Cari enters the class room and sits at a wooden table puts her bag down and gets her book out and then looks around in surprised at the smell and sounds she hears like she has never heard the sounds before then cari looks up at the professor as though she is about to speak*

Sunny enters the classroom, a little nervous because it was her first class at Hogwarts. She looks around for any Gryffindor students, and sees none. She decides to sit behind the two Ravenclaw girls sitting in the front. She takes out a few pages of parchment, some ink, and a quill and waits for the Professor to start class.

Christina walked into the room and took a seat. She looked around the classroom. Christina loved muggle animals like dogs and cats but she had never been around a creature from the magical world. She looked at them in awe. The creatures were so different and she couldn't wait to learn about each and every one of them.

Unsure of wat to expect, empty walks into the room, and examines everything in her path. She finds a seat near the window, but close to the front. She quietly sits in her desk and waits.

Karen practically races into the classroom and then slows to a stop, looking around for a place to sit. Thinking that the back was definitely a safe spot, she sits near the end of a row near some other Slytherin students. She takes out the necessary supplies for class and looks around the room, waiting for class to start.

Jen enters the room and smiles at Professor Dainsie. She takes a seat near the front of the room and quietly waits for the lesson to begin. She looked around at the seemingly odd assortment of objects and stared blankly at the walls.

Nadia walked up towards the grounds of the castle and then into the stone walls, rounding it and finally finding the entrance to the outside classroom and taking a seat in a random desk. She didn't feel talkative, but at least wasn't furious like previous class. More like, she was indifferently-blue but with a normal skin color. If that made any sense...

Mel rushed in, hoping she wasn't late. Looking around, she realized that she still had time. She sat down, with a sigh, ready to start.

Afton entered the room and waved madly at Professor Dainsie and went and sat in the very front of the room.

Roxanne walked into the classroom and sat on a free table. She took out her book, some parchment, and her favorite quill. While sitting on her seat and admiring the Phoenix on the professor's table, Roxanne was thinking if Kellie was going to be in the class. "I mean she's the only person that I know," she muttered to herself. Moments later, the Professor entered the classroom and Roxanne snapped out of her thoughts.

Linnea walked into the classroom, unsure of what to expect. She looked around at the other students and felt relaxed by the phoenix singing while sat on the professors desk. She smiled. Maybe this class wouldn't be so bad, and the professor good as well. She found a seat and sat down, waiting for class to begin.

Laurasia entered the classroom & smiled brightly at Professor Dainsie. "Hello Professor. It's good to see you again."

She turned & found a vacant seat. She quickly sat down & awaited the beginning of the lesson.

Hello everyone, its so good to see all your smiling beautiful faces again!

Just a few announcements while we wait for more student...

I would firstly like to make you aware of the Magical Creatures hospital that is located on the grounds. It's a great place to visit to just look around, or if you would like some more practical experience with some animals, I can always find something for you to do.

Secondly, I want to introduce to you my Phoenix. Her name is Artemis. Her name is from Greek mythology; Artemis is goddess of the moon and the hunt. She is known as "the lady of wild things." She is very intelligent and friendly if you would like to say hello.

And lastly, I have a large cage of baby Pygmy Puffs that I need to find homes for. They come in three colours: baby blue, pale pink, and pale lilac. If you would like one, they cost 5 sickles. You are most welcome to keep them on your desks during class, or on your shoulder if you wish, as they make no real noises other than light hums. They are great pets because they are very easy to look after, and you really can have them with you all the time.

Anelreas smiled at the Professor as she began addressing the class.

They had a hospital for creatures now? She'd have to send Tobias there sometime to check his sanity and stability in this world. Ever since Edgar took a few claw fulls of fur from Tobias, the creature had been more paranoid than ever and only let three pick him up. Anelreas wasn't one of them, which was a relief to her.

She smiled at the thought of having a baby Pygmy Puff. They were cute creatures, but Tobias would make a meal of it the first time he saw it, so the notion was out of the question.

"Yeah I'm ready! I Love Animals! And Hi Christy!

Shelby enters the classroom and sits in the front.She smiles her sweetest.
