Kate was looking at her mouse. She hoped the spell would not hurt the animal, but also she was so excited at finally being able to do something. She decided not to take the mouse out of the cage, she didn't want start thinking it was cute, plus she didn't think her cat, Julius, would let her keep a pet mouse. She practiced the swish and flick movement then picked up her wand "Transformigify Dividere" Kate said firmly. She mouse squealed as it was being transformed but to her amazement the mouse turned into two dice and the squealing stopped. She picked up the dice and examined them. They were quite normal. She did notice on one of them there were two five's on it, but she didn't think anyone else would look that closely. She placed the dice back in the cage and then pointed her wand at them and said "''Finite Incantatem." She watched as the dice turned back into a mouse. The mouse looked up at her making Kate feel guilty about what she had just done to it. She turned over to her friend Henry who was sitting next to her and was perfoming the spell for herself. Kate turned back to the mouse. "Well little fella, I'm sorry, but I have to practice more." Kate pointed her wand once more to the mouse who seemed to be trying to find a way out and called out the spell once more and continued to practice.

"Thanks, but your better." Laura took her mouse out of the cage, stunned it and said "Transformigify Dividere" It twitched but done nothing more. "Sometimes it works, but sometimes it doesn't" She added to Adz. "Transformigify Dividere" And it split into 2 and they turned to dice. Laura smiled.

"Thanks" Adz smiled and started to transform her mouse again. Ten times each way....only took 12 seconds so she decided to study the mouse for a while. This was too easy....

Lily left her mouse in the cage desidin she didn't want to chase it if it got loose.Holdin up her wand she concentraited and said the spell"Transformigify Dividere". The mouse split and turned into dice with tails.Undoin the spell she tried again,"Transformigify Dividere". This time it worked.Both mice were white cubes with black dots.No tails.
Desidin to make sure she had it right Lily did the spell a few more times.

Jenna took her mouse back off the table. "Transformigify Dividere..." She said, almost bored. Her familiar little brown mouse turned into dice for what was possibly the 22nd time. She muttered the countercurse, and the mouse was there once again.

"I can't wait to learn what we'll do next." She stroked the little mouse in her hands. "I hope we don't have to throw the dice. I won't be able to get the thought that we're throwing mice around out of my head." She looked down at the little thing and smiled. It yawned.

"Transformigify Dividere" The mouse divided into 2 and transformed into dice. Laura picked it up and looked at it. It still had whiskers. "Oops!" she muttered. "Finite Incantatem" 'Get it right this time' She thought to herself "Transformigify Dividere" The mouse turned into 2 dice again. "Perfect."

"I dunno" Adz laughed "They looked kinda cute with whiskers...!"

Laura laughed as well. "S'pose, what do you think about a tail?" Holding her dice up which had now grown whiskers and a tail to match.

Cherry was seriously getting throughly annoyed with all the talking going on. This was a class for peat's sake! Just because Professor McAiken was helping other students didn't give the opportunity to others to start chatting away as if they were in the hallways. She wanted to scream and shout for them to shut up, because unlike them, other students were trying very hard to concentrate and do the task which the Professor had given them, which was really the point of the lesson. But she didn't want to have the year starting really badly with Ravenclaw losing points. She had managed to win 5 so far, and she wanted them to stay there.

So she pushed the annoying drumming of the talking out of her mind and focused on the still stunned mouse in front of her. She had nearly managed the task the previous time, and she knew she could do it. She swished and flicked her wand again, and said "Transformigify Dividere!" This time the spell worked, and the mouse split into two pearly-white dice with black dots.

Quite satisfied with herself, Cherry took out some parchment and jotted down some notes regarding the new spell she had learnt, still with that annoyed blabber in the background.

Jenna had been talking earlier, but even she knew it was starting to get out of hand. That's why she had gone back to practicing.

She looked around and saw an annoyed looking Ravenclaw scribbling away furiously near her. She picked up her parchment, mouse, and wand, and walked over to her.

"The noise is getting a bit out of control even for me! Mind if I practice over here? It's a little quieter." She dropped her supplies on the table in front of the Ravenclaw girl. She held the mouse up and turned him into dice yet again.

Cherry had been so deeply immersed in her writing and her annoyed inside ranting about the consistent talking in classes that she hadn't noticed a Gryffindor girl making her way towards her.
As the girl spoke, she looked up, looking rather dazed.

"Oh, no, no of course not. I don't mind," she said. "I'm Cherry by the way," she continued, feeling that she should at least introduce herself because it would be rude if she didn't. She let out a sigh; with it came out all the bottled up rage she was feeling inside, even though a feeling of quirkiness still tickled her insides.

She looked down at the parchment. She often resorted to drawing so she could understand better her work when she needed to student. Unfortunately, her artistic skills were no way near Martha's and the unrecognisable blob on her parchment was actually the mouse she had been trying to draw for the past 15 minutes. So she wrote 'Mouse' underneath, just for the sake of understanding.

Rosa pointed her wand at her mouse and muttered 'stupefy' but the mouse kept running through its cage. 'stupefy' she repeated. 'stupefy!' finally, the mouse stopped running through its cage. she got it out and put it on the middle of her desk. how was she going to do this? transfiguration was hard enough without dividing by two... 'transmorfigy dividere' she said, flicking her wand. but all that happened was the mouse suddenly starting to move again, walking over the edge of her desk, so she quickly had to duck over her desk to grab it before it hit the ground. she grabbed through the air and got hold of the mouse's tail. then she put it back in the cage and stunned it again, so she wouldn't have so much difficulty with aiming and raised her wand to try to transfigure it again.

Nadia, midly preoccupied since even though she had a fairly good level of tranfiguration magic still wasn't that sure about her abilities to 'split' beings, would have wished they had spiders for practicing so she wouldn't feel that guilty if she chopped the their leg. While looking at the mouse run uneasily into their cage, she performed the wand movement without incantation and incantation without wand movement to be surer as possible. But then again, what did she know?

"Transformigify Dividere!" she finally performed and watched with her stomach hard and yet a bit amused as the mouse separated itself like gum into two things that were pretty much square with dots, but still lacked the proper number on each side. Her nerves always did that to her.

"Transformigify Dividere!" she performed the incantation again, with a pretty much correct wand movement and a better mental image of what she wanted to achieve, thought she didn't play that much with dices.

"I'm Jenna. Thanks! And sorry to interrupt you." She smiled and turned back to her mouse. She rummaged through her bags for her sketchbook again. She flipped passed her mouse-dice drawing and started sketching her mouse in its original form.

"You're so cute!" She said. The mouse stared at her with those little, black eyes.

Adz started to laugh at what Laura had said, but noticing that the prefects were getting angry, continued to flick her wand lazily at the mouse. Even without trying she was finding it easy

"They don't look happy do they?" Noticing where Adz was looking. "Have to admit it is a bit loud in here."Trying to speak a little quieter. Laura pointed her wand back at her mouse and it turned back to normal. "Transformigify Dividere" She watched as it turned into 2 dice.

"No" muttered Adz quietly.
She brought out a piece of parchment and started to write down some notes again.

Laura was getting bored again so pulled her Transfiguration book towards her and started reading again.

"Want me to test you on this subject....?" Adz asked.

"Yeah alright, but I'm not very good."

Astoria had been extremely quiet during this class period, which was normal of her if she wasn't around a person she knew well. She had been trying to concentrate so she could do the spell, but there were so many people talking that every time she was ready to do the spell, her concentration broke. She glared at the people who were having a conversation during class.

She took a deep breath and spoke the incantation "Transmorgify Dividere" in a medium loud voice. She watched as the little mouse split into two white dice with little black dots. She smiled to herself because she had actually done it right for once. She then spoke the incantation "Finite Incantatem" and watched as the dice went back into being a little mouse. She looked at the mouse and let out a chuckle. The thought of Amaris being in this room brought a smirk to her face.

"I'll ask easy ones then! What do you have to do to return an object/animal to it's original state?"

Kellie first said the spell before she decided to actually try it. Transformigify Dividere. After a couple of times we went to the mouse cage.

Kellie slowly took her mouse out of the cage. She was having a hard time keeping control on the mouse from running. She put the mouse down, "Petrificus Totalus!" the mouse stopped dead in its tracks. She picked up the mouse and put it next to her.

She breathed in deeply, "Transformigify Dividere!" She looked at the mouse. Nothing happened. She said to herself, "consentrate!" She took another deep breathe and said again, "Transformigify Dividere!" The mouse turned white with dots. "Oh darn, Finite Incantatem!" The mouse went back to normal.
