Shelby left the classroom to go to the lake.

"Thanks...yes, it's one of my fave subjects"

Vicky looked at the mouse

"Ahh, good I hope"she said

Laura looked up from her book. Everyone was crowding round Adz, no suprise there. Not wanting to join the conversation she turned the page and continued reading.

"Same here. It's my favorite subject." She glanced out the window. "It's such a lovely day."

"Yes, have you swam in the lake yet? It's wonderfully cool..."

"Can't wait to earn some points..." Christy said giving a deep breath "Don't you Vicky?"

"No, I haven't today. I did yesterday though. Maybe I'll go after classes let out." She looked back at her table. "I'll be right back. I think I'm going to put my mouse away. He seems rather fidgety." She smiled and waved.

Jenna got back to her table where her mouse was climbing the cage walls.

"Hey there, are trying to escape?" She smiled and stuck her hand in the cage, petting the mouse. "I never named you did I?"

Jen reached into her cage and took out the mouse. Before it had a chance to escape she said clearly, "Stupefy." It instantly froze and she set it down gently on her desk. "Sorry about that," she whispered quietly. It was irrational to think the creature could understand her but she couldn't help it. She looked up and watched her classmates for a minute. She closed her eyes for a second to help her concentrate before looking back down at the unmoving mouse. Pointing her wand at it, she said, "Transmorgify Dividere." Much to her surprise she saw the mouse morphing into two small black and white dice. She blinked in shock. This was the first time she had suceeded in transfiguring something on her first try. She smiled and thought I guess that's what a year does.

"Finite Incantatem", she said. She watched the dice turn back into the mouse. She quickly grabbed it to keep it from escaping and placed it gently back in the cage.

"OK," Adz laughed as she walked away with her mouse.

Kim came into class and sat down.She toke notes on , Transfiguration is the art of changing, something into something else, whether it is an,immobile or living creature or person."

Disillusion is complex but it isn't Vanishing magic as kim was was done writing she looked and her notes.Then begined to work on the saying Transformigify Dividere and doing the wonds movents.Then see looked at the mouse in the cage she didnt wont to hurt it.Kim loved animal even if it a mouse.She toke it out her cage sadly then said''Sorry''.Then did the wonder movement and said ''Transformigify Dividere''.Then kim looked a the mice as they turned into dice.''Cool i did it ''said kim happily.Then kim said ''Finite Incantatem '' the mice turned back to normal.Then kim put the mice back in it cage.Then waited for what we are going to next.

Laura put her book and wrote up some notes on a piece of parchment.

Terry leaves her mouse in the cage and prepares to do the spell. First she practices the swish and flick motion with her wand and repeats the spell, Transformigify Dividere over and over in her mind. She then tries to visualize the mouse spliting in two and turning into a pair of dice. After she has practiced this for a few moments she is ready to begin. Terry takes the mouse out of the cage, places a stunning spell on him, and she begins. Pointing her wand at him, she performs the swish and flick motion with her wand and repeats the spell over and over again in her mind. The mouse divides into two mice and changes into a white color with black spots all over his body, but no dice. Terry picks up the two mice, puts them back into the cage, and removes the stunning spell from them. She then starts the process over again.

Her second try goes a little better. The mouse divides and one of the mice turns into a white cube but no black spots on it. The other mouse turns out like before. She performs the finite incantatium spell and starts over again. After about four more tries, Terry is able to turn the mouse into a pair of dice. Pleased with her progress, she throws the dice on her desk and comes up with snake eyes. "Oh well, I need to practice my dice throwing too."

Adz looked around and saw a slytherin girl on her own.
"Heya, I'm Adz - i don't believe we've met...?" Adz exclaimed, smiling at the girl.

"Hi, I'm Laura, I've seen you around but I don't think we've ever met." She smiled back at Adz.

"Surprising really...same house....we sleep in the same dorm....same classes....and yet we've never truly met each other until today!"

After what seemed like hours, Alex finally took her gaze off the mouse and watched as the people were chatting. She shook her head and stared at the people, a bit disgusted. They seemed to have no respect for the teacher, whatsoever. Instead of practicing, they were all socializing. She was ready to snarl at them, but she controlled her temper just in time.

She grabbed her wand, yet again and sighed. Taking a quill out of her bag, she placed on her desk and thought for a second. What was she going to transfigure it into? After thinking for a few minutes, she frowned. Closing her eyes she imagined what she wanted to transfigure the quill into.

Opening her eyes, she stared at the quill. She took a long, deep breath. "Transformigify Dividere! "She watched as the quill transfigured almost instantly into a frog. Alex gave a squeak as the frog started giving small croaks and jumping around the room.

"Accio frog!" she said, in a low murmur. The frog zoomed back in her hand. She quickly picked it up and tucked it inside her bag. She tried acting as if nothing had ever happened and went back to staring around at all the students and praying that McAiken hadn't noticed anything.

The frog was not exactly what she had in mind.

"Yeah, it is quite suprising. So what's your fave subject?"

"Transfiguration and potions really. But i like most subjects." Adz smiled, guessing that she had a lot of work to do if she wanted to keep her 'bad girl' reputation

"I like Potions too, but I'm not a big fan of Transfiguration."

Noel decided to leave the mouse in the cage, she looked it over carefully before perfroming the correct motion with her wand. She had never attended Transfiguration before, she hoped something horrible wouldn't happen. Slowly and enunciating every syllable she said, "Transformigify Dividere," she closed her eyes, hoping it had worked. when she opened them she saw that it did, the mouse was now to small dice. The dice were a little pink like the mouses tail but she had done it! She smiled, feeling rather pleased with herself. She transfigured the dice back into a mouse successfully and practiced the charm over and over, trying to get white dice.

"Fair enough" Adz replied politely "You seem to be quite good at it though"

Jenna sat back down. She picked up her quill and inspected it closely. I wonder if I could change this into dice... She stared at it for a few more moments, then wondered what they were supposed to do until the end of class.

Rem ran in quickly and scaned the room to find Marvolo falling asleep. She walked over and sat down next to him. "Marvolo, wake up. how much trouble are you in?" When she noticed that he wasn't listening she poked him in the side gently but enough to jar him. "Wake up!" She whispered quietly
