Jenna stared at her twitching dice.

"Transformigify Dividere." She said half-heartedly this time. The dice stopped twitching. Inspecting them closely, she came to the conclusion that they were now dice, and nothing more. She smiled at her accomplishment and turned to the rest of the class. There was a Slytherin sitting with two dice in front of her as well.

Without trying to look too nervous Laura took the mouse out of the cage and stunned it. Putting it back on the table she muttered "Transformify Divideer .. oh .. er .. Transformigify Dividere" Nothing happened. "Transformigify Dividere" She said again but swished and flicked like McAiken had and she watched as the mouse duplicated itself and turned into dice. "I'm not that bad at this" Laura thought to herself.

Adz leant back and waited. Having already completed the spell, there wasn't really anything to do. Eventually, she got out her 'notes' parchment, and wrote the spell down, with a small definition. However, there really wasn't much need for it. She was very good at remembering things.

Grinning, Alex opened the cage and grabbed the mouse by its tail. Holding it in her left hand, and her wand still clutched in her right hand. She stopped and looked at the mouse for a second .. she felt bad for having to practice on the poor animals. On the other hand, they were's going to practice on students. No, that would not be very logical.

Taking a deep breath, she kept staring at the mouse. "Stupey!" she said, in a loud, but simple voice. The mouse instantly stopped squirming around in her hand and just remained there, still as a rock. She was proud of herself. After all, stunning was one of her specialties.

One more time, she practiced the wand motion. Her hand, once again, moved very fast and yet it was graceful at the smae time. She also practiced the incantation in her head. 'Transformigify Dividere. Transformigify Dividere.' She kept repeating it to herself. She placed the mouse on her desk and grabbed her wand.

"Transformigify Dividere!" she said, once again, in a loud and clear voice. The mouse almost instantly started chainging shapes. Alex kept staring at it, a bit amazed and curious at the same time. Fascinating. After a few seconds, the mouse had transfigured in a a normal, black and white dice. That wasn't going to work thogh. It was supossed to be split in two.

She raised her hand at the Professor. "Professor McAiken, I managed to tranform it, although, I only managed to get one dice, not two," she said pouting and frowning at the same time.

Christy open the mouse cage and took her mouse outside. That would be easier.

'Petrificus totalus!' and the mouse froze, paralized by the spell. 'Well..now is the spell'concentration and determination With a soft but firm flick of her wand she said 'Transformigify Dividere!' The mouse started to twist and then he divided himself in two. 'Great!' Christy thought.

Adz watched, disgusted as her fellow slytherin...Alex was it?....picked up the mouse by it's tail. She was an animal lover, so frowned madly at her. Mind you, she remembered after the mouse had been transformed, that it was better than how owls treated mice....maybe she should Raven on a non - animal - killing - diet...?

The mouse squeeked and ran to the other side of the cage. Iphigeneia blinked. The rodent's body had turned polkadotted white, and it had an odd boxy look about it.

"No wait!"

Iphigeneia raised her wand again. Swish, flick...Transformigify Dividere!

With a little pop, the mouse lost its legs, and its face was squashed into some invisible cubic box. It sat there, squealing helplessly, lashing its tail angrily against the bars of the cages.

"Okay, okay! One more!"

And the mouse was gone, and in its place was a slightly hairy item that looked like two dice glued together. Perhaps that will do, Iphigeneia thought, making a face. She would try again when there were more mice available...Or perhaps rats. She had seen rats around the castle.

She raised her hand.

"Professor, does this spell work on rats and other animals as well?"

Vicky noticed Christy sitting next to her and smiled

"Hi"she whispered to her and then stood up to take a cage with a mouse in it.She prefered it that way...
After taking it from proffessor McAiken's desk she placed it on her desk and looked at the mouse in it.

"Ok my friend...lets turned your pretty face into dice."she said and took a deep breathe

"Transformigify Dividere!"she said with self-confidence performing (hopefully) the correct wand motions...nothing happened.The mouse was walking around the cage just like it did before.

"Oh my...it's gonna be a long class"she said and prepared herself for the second time.She took another deep breathe and...

"Transformigify Dividere!"she said loudly.This time, the mouse's legs and ears separated from it's body.Just like when some fulish people try to apparate and part themselves in two pieces

"Oh no!No,no,no!Proffessor look what I did!Poor little thing...are you ok?"she said looking at the poor animal

Alesha continued to try the spell, finally after several trys she managed to turn the mouse into dice.

"Alex, then picture in your mind the dividing of the mouse into. Think of it morphing into two separate dice. You can use "Finite Incantatem" but be careful, because you not only end the transfiguration but the stunning spell as well. Place it inside the cage before doing it." McAiken instructed.

Jenna took out her beat-up sketchpad and started sketching the dice. Except she added whiskers, ears, and a tail to the picture. The caption underneath read 'Transformigify Dividere.' She was glad her spell's effects had not actually left the dice with ears and a tail, but the picture was better off that way.

She looked nervously at the rat in the cage. Yes, so it was white and it twitched its nose in an odd and cute sort of way. But that didn't stop Cherry from wanting to shriek and run out of the classroom. So touching it was probably not the best option.

She decided to leave the mouse inside the cage and stun it with her wand through the bars. She pushed her wand through; as the mouse saw this, it clung to the tip of her wand. She started shaking it, muttering to the mouse to let go, but the stupid thing just didn't want to listen. Finally, she muttered the stunning spell and the mouse remained fixed to her wand, although its tail was no longer flicking to and fro.

"Who ever knew mice loved magic so much," she said under her breath. An idea of mice wanting to take wands sin their possession and taking over the world was already forming in her crazy mind, but she pushed it away. 'I have a task to do,' she thought.

She practised the swish and flick motion once more, like the Professor had instructed, saying the spell over and over in her heart. Since the mouse was still glued to her wand, she'd have an easy enough target.

She swished, flicked her wand and said, "Transformigify Dividere!" Nothing happened, although she thought she saw something twitch in front of her. With a little bit more of encouragement she sought to try again.

Adz, noticing that the professor was near, raised her hand, waited for him to come to her, an said politely "Excuse me, professor, but i was wondering if this spell only worked on mice, or if it had effect on other animals as well"

"Use the "Finite Incantatem" and the mouse will return to normal." McAiken suggested. "Keep practicing. Do the spell over and over. Remember every small thing you transfigure perpares you to transfigure larger items.

Laura looked at her dice and smiled. "Finite Incantatem" Off she went again. "Transformigify Dividere." She kept repeating the spell over and over again. Every now and again she glanced at the other students but returned to her work after a while.

Adz hastened to try this, eager to do well in the subjects she wqas good at at least....
"Finite Incantatem" she said as the mouse returned, then "Transformigify Dividere". This was too easy....

She did it faster and faster, they only appeared for the time it took to breathe, then they were transformed again....after about twenty times, she left them as dice for a few minutes as she was out of breath - then she started again....

Christy put the two mouses in the cage, but suddenly the "copy mouse" dissapeared. 'Oh, God... this one was really good' She practise the spell and the flick motion once more. Then she turned to the mouse concentration Christy!. 'Transformigify Dividere!' the mouse started twitching again. But nothing happened. She gave a quick look to her Transfiguration book and tried again:'Transformigify Dividere!' the mouse gave a soft twist and started changing into diferent shapes, until he divided himself in two.

ACK. She was ready to slap herself. Why didn't she think of that before? Giving a small sigh, she grabbed the dice and placed it back in the cage. Grabbing her wand once again, she muttered Finite Incantem under her breath and the dice had once again become a mouse. She looked at it intently, as it was running around the cage, following its every movement.

She opened the cage and grabbed the mouse by its tail, yet again. "Stupefy!" she muttered in a lower voice than usual. The mouse stopped squirming in her hand, almost instantly. She placed it on her desk and started studying it once again. Mice really were not as frightful as they looked. They were actually pretty .. cute. No time to think about that now that.

Closing her eyes for a few seconds, she tried to picture as clearly as she could how the mouse would transfigure into two dice. After she had a very clear picture in her mind, she tried to keep in there long enough so she could perform the actual spell. She raised her hand, and once again, in a fast and graceful motion did the swish and flick. "Transformigify Dividere!" she said, or rather yelled. She gave a small cough afterwards, maybe her classmates hadn't noticed her yelling so loud.

She wtached, fascinated as the mouse suddenly starting shifting shapes and after what seemed like minutes, it has split into two perfect dice, both the same size. They were identical. Grinning to herself, she raised her hand. "Professor McAiken, is this good?" she asked, with a satisfying smile on her face. "What next?" she asked, simply.

As she was waiting for an answer from the Professor, she sneaked a look around the room at how everyone else was doing. A Hufflepuff student seemed to have two mice now? What in the world ... ? She blinked at her, and then turned her gaze back on the Professor.

Iphigeneia nodded. She pointed the wand at her pseudodice. With a Finite Incantatem!, it turned once more into a mouse. It stayed in place, unmoving excepting for its quivering watery eyes.

Best stun you then, Iphigeneia muttered, and shot a thin red spark at the mouse, which proceeded to keel over stiffly.

And so on, until, at last, she had turned the mouse into two lovely white dice.

Accio Dice! And the dice fell nicely into her hands. She grinned and looked around for Professor McAiken.

"Do we get to keep these, Professor?"

ali kept practising until he was pretty confident with his progress

Alesha pointed her wand at the dice saying "Finite Incantatem" she then watched as the dice turned back to a mouse. She then said "Transformigify Dividere" turning the mouse back into dice. She continued to practice the spell.

Jenna finished shading her picture, then took out her wand again.

"Finite Incantatem!" With a little pop, the little brown mouse was back on her desk. It stared at her for a moment with watery eyes, then made a run for it.

"Petrificus Totalus/" Jenna murmered, and the mouse froze in mid leap. "It's for the best, you know. Who knows what might have happened to you had you run off here." She stared sadly at the poor thing. Then sighed. "Transformigify Dividere!" There were the two dice again, but they weren't twitching this time. Holding them close to her, she turned them back into the mouse. Before it could go anywhere, she closed her hand softly, preventing it's escape. "Petrificus Totalus." She said, prying open her hands just enough to fit her wand. Again, the mouse froze. She repeated these steps over and over, until the mouse hardly attempted to run away again.

Before returning the mouse to its origianl form for the 11th time, she was startled by a yell behind her. She turned around and saw a Slytherin attempting the spell again.

Ginn says "Finite Incantatem" and the dice turn back into a mouse.

She practices saying "Transformigify Dividere" a few times before attempting the change the mouse again. She wants to be able to get it on the first shot from now on.

"Swish and flick" she says as she practices the motion with her wand a few times, again and again.

"Ok, lets give it another shot, shall we?" She says to the mouse.

"Transformigify Dividere!" The mouse seperates into two and becomes white with black spots.

"Transformigify Dividere!" Now the mice turn into dice. "Getting closer" she thinks to herself.

"Finite Incantatem!" The mice again return to one normal.

Ginn does the spell once more and gets it on the first try. Please with herself she puts her wand down, makes a few notes on her parchment and does this spell again.

McAiken watched as Alex succeeded in performing the spell. "Well done, Alex," he offered. He was proud of the students. They were working hard and doing very well overall. He continued to move about the room."

OOC: I need to leave for a bit but continue practice. I'll come back later today and continue the class. There is a bit of fun to be had at the end of class so do drop back by for it and to get your homework.
