Ready to check out? Then you've come to the right place!

Once you've finished your shopping, you need to escort yourself to the check out counter located on the right side of the store. The shopkeeper can usually be found sitting on the wooden stool just behind the counter, but, if he isn't there at the moment, you are more than welcome to ring the green bell and just wait for him to show up.

Please place your candy on the counter so that he can see what you got and give you the right price.

Also located on the counter is a scale to weigh your candy if needed. Do NOT mess with the scale because if you break it, you're in big trouble!

OOC: Remember, no excess chatting in this thread. There are other places in Sugarplum's to chat with your friends!
ALSO, please specify how much of each item you purchase. I can't charge you correctly unless I know.

Rae walks through the store grabbing all the candy she will need for the train ride and the first couple days maybe just the train ride. If there is some left it will be for as long as they last. She places her thirteen boxes of chocolate frogs, six boxes of drooble gum, and three boxes of Every Flavor Beans. Oh, and thirteen boxes of sugar quills onto the counter with a slight smirkish smile at the shopkeeper.

Arlo had something of a sweet tooth but hadn't heard very much about English sweets so he had decided therefore that he would buy some to eat while he was at school. Having wandered around the store for half an hour or so before he had decided what he wanted and taken all of his things to the counter.

What he had decided on was two packets of puckering sour swirls, two packets of bertie botts every flavour beans, four chocolate frogs, a box of pumpkin pasties, ten sugar quills, one box of lemon drops, one box of sherbet drops and a box of crystallised pineapple. He couldn't help being curious as to what half of these things were and therefore he wanted to try them all.

He walked over to the counter and smiled faintly at the shopekeeper while he waited his turn.

Anna and Emily Reese made their way to the counter. They had handfuls of chocolate frogs, (their favorite candy). They waited in line behind others waiting to purchase their sweet treats.

She wasn't sure why she was there .. For Merlin's sake, she didn't like sweets , now here she is .. Standing near the counter and uncertain if she was going to buy.. She moved her gaze from side to side , hoping to meet new friends ..

Once she took the shiny golden Galleon from the little girl, Letty eyed the next one who seemed to....WOW!!...have taken as many sweets as she was able to carry around. Or maybe she could carry even more, Letty was not sure as children in sugar rush did always surprise her.

Lots of sweets and sweet children too. After nodding a kind goodbye to the girl who bought lots of sweets, Leticia's dark brown gaze landed on the next little person. Ooooh. Looks like this one was in a sugar rush too. ''Welcome to Sugarplum's Sweet Shop sweetie'' she greeted the kid at first place, with a huge smile then she carefully eyed all the sweet stuff he had picked up.

Oooooooooh...okay... ''Aha!''

She was soooo lucky that her mind was a quick one when it came to calculating all the money that had to be exchanged for the sweets anyway. ''Your sweets, dear, are all 7 Galleons and 5 Sickles.''

More customers...yay! It was a busy day today! Letty liked busy days hopefully aaand it was actually pretty natural that these days were busy ones since it was the summer break, kids were not away at school, so they were practically attacking sweets. Hehehhe. She would have done the same after all, if she weren't already so close to all the sweets.

What did she expect anyway again? This was a sweets shop and she had been exchanging sweets with money since the moment she had started working here. So? That was something which was expected...seeing more and more children! Hehehehehehehe...

"Hello", said Stephen beaming at the lady,"yes, just these please", he said emptying his hand onto the counter. "So would I be right in thinking that's 4 galleons and 1 sickle in total? I'm sorry, I'm more used to using muggle money", he said blushing at his inexperience. He truly had never had much experience with wizard money as it was his mother who always dealt with magical purchases but she wasn't with him, as she was working.

Anna and his sister unfolded about 7 chocolate frogs each. It was their favorite treat. Anna always seems to have a chocolate frog on her no matter what. And she really wanted to stock up for Hogwarts. "Oh! and maybe two sugar quills." Anna's sister Emily said and placed on the counter. "Hey you aren't paying." Anna said to her. "I am now." Emily said and placed a galleon on the counter. Will this be good for the entire purchase if not I have another one and placed a second galleon next to the first one. "You like to show off don't you." Anna said to her younger sister as they waited for the shopkeeper's reply.

This line was verry long as well, Maddy didn't think it would be such a bad idea to open up her package of Berty Botts Every Flavour's and snack while she was waiting. Once she got to the front she handed the shopkeeper the beans and the weird black package she had found behind the other candy. "Hello, how much will these cost?" she asked.

Startled by the voice of a boy coming from behind her, Beezus faced him. He was saying things about how you should try adventure and all . He kept talking about Chocolate Frogs and Bertie Bott's ever flavor beans . She felt awkward, hearing this stranger explaining a lot to her. Of course she was going to buy, but wasn't sure what to buy.
She then smiled when the boy introduced himself. "I'm Beatrice, Stephen." she said and accepted his hand rather hesitantly.

Arlo smiled at the lady at the counter, "I don't really know what all of these are," he admitted, his accent clearly not English so he thought that would explain his lack of knowledge about them. "But I like sweets," he laughed. He was feeling quite a bit more confident in this place now. It wasn't as bad as he had expected, that was for sure.

He watched her calculating and couldn't understand how she was doing it so fast. He wasn't very good at Maths at all. And a currency he had never really been allowed to handle before wasn't helping his Maths much. He nodded as she said how much it would be and took out some of his money, carefully separating the coins he needed and counting out the right amount (or at least he hoped so). He handed over 7 galleons and 5 sickles, "Is that right?" he asked, knowing he was horrendously bad at counting and often got it wrong.

Maddy reached into her pocket and fished out 8 sickles, she then handed them to the man. "I found it way at the back of the shelf behind the Berty Botts Every Flavour Beans, this was the only package like it. Must be very popular" Unless it wasn't candy at all, but Maddy figured that just because a candy store would be an innocent hiding place for dark objects diddn't mean that people would go hiding them there...It was probly just a new type of candy.

Evie made her way to the counter.

"Hellooo there!!, pleasure to meet you, my name is Evelyn or 'Evie' for short," Greeted Evie politely to the shopkeeper. She placed the packet of Bertie Botts Every Flavour beans on the counter along with her two chocolate frogs and licorice wand. "May I have these please sir??" she asked nicely, "and how much will that be then?" she asked as she pulled out her coin purse.....

Maddy was in a bit of a daydream while the shopkeeper was talking, at times she could be very nieve. " Yup I'll go put it back" she nonchalantly replied "thanks for the beans", still zoned out. She looked it over while she was on her way to the shelf, it diddn't have a price tag on it, and it diddn't look bright shiny and new. Maybe sombody forgot it here, she'd find the owner. 2 pounds of Milk Chocolate Fudge, Walnut Fudge, Maple Fudge, and Chocolate Dragon Fudge (each), 3 pounds of Milk, White, and Almond chocolate (each), 2 boxes of Toffee, Chocoballs, and White Chocolate Almond Truffle, 15 Chocolate Frogs, A box of Licorice Wands, 10 boxes of Pumpkin Pasties, 2 Sugar Quills, and a box of Lemondrops and Sherbertdrops.." She blushed, her hair falling in her face slightly as she thought of what the shopkeeper's mind was saying.

The last thing Sage needed before she went to Hogwarts was some sweets. Her mother had told her that she would give Sage money for some at Hogsmeade, but a few pieces of candy to get her through the train ride wouldn’t hurt, right? Sage quickly walked into the shop and started picking out her favorites.
“Drooble’s Best Blowing Gum (2 sickles),
1 packet of Bertie Bott’s Ever Flavour Beans (8 sickles),
and 1 Chocolate Frogs (5 sickles),” Sage muttered to herself before heading up to the counter.

Elle loves sweets and chocolates!that was why she decided to enter the shop...there were many customers in the shop as she looked around..she walked to the counter and greeted the shopkeeper, "hello..good afternoon!i was wondering if I could get combination flavours for the fudge,chocolate and candies?". Elle really hoped the shopkeeper would say yes.
