Miss Deepwaters had just waved goodbye at a customer when her gray eyes caught sight of a child standing near. She tried to follow her gaze a saw the girl staring at another girl buying stuff. René tilted her head to the side and turned to the girl. "Hello there," she said with a smile on her lips. "May I help you with something?" Because maybe the child was lost or something?

Ronnie walked up to the counter, holing her basket that was full of candy. She bounced on her heels as she waited in line, eager to buy everything and then eat it all! She giggled with excitement at the thought of eating all the candy. She loved candy!

After tending to Mr. Romeo who had swallowed a favored bean and almost choked on it Miss Deepwaters turned to the excited looking kid at the counter. Oh boy, giddy kids. Lovely.

"Hello there! How may I help you?" she said, smiling.

He couldn't not go back to Hogwarts without his stash of candies! His arms were loaded with boxes and bags and containers full of candy. Who knew when the first Hogsmeade weekend would be! And he didn't want to be caught without. Waiting his turn at the counter, Isaac started counting out his items mentally in his head.

Let's see...
3 Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans packets
10 Chocolate Frogs
6 Sugar Quills
2 Drooble's Best Blowing Gum
1 packet of Jumping Gummy Bears
a pound of Chocolate dragon fudge for Amelia
and
a pound each of Hazelnut and Almond chocolates

Figuring it in his head he figured he'd need at about 8 galleons and 7 sickles. Not too bad for the amount of candies! He had put aside 10 galleons just for that so had more then enough. Maybe he'd head to another shop before being done for the day.

Andrew enters the store with a sickly face as he had just arrived from train. (Train sickness). He finds the pumpkin fizzes and quickly skids over to them.

After getting everything necessary to start hogwarts for the first time he waited patiently for his turn in line

Miss Deepwaters' eyes grew wide at her next customer, but so did her lips. She was happy to see someone FINALLY buy a large supply of sweets. It was about time, too!

"Hello, there," she greeted enthusiastically. She made her calculations and then said, "It'll be 9 Galleons, please."

Ooh! The next child seemed a bit sick. She wondered if he was okay, needed water or something. She smiled at him as he walked closer to the counted and asked, "How may I help you?" She was happy to see more kids coming into the store.

Merlin knew she needed a job that kept her busy.

Placing his items on the counter, Isaac looked up at her with a smile. Erm...9? Ok, with a mental shrug, he didn't question it. Maybe he'd figured the amount wrong... Reaching into his pocket he pulled out his galleons, counting out nine, and slid them across the counter.

"Could I have the dragon fudge wrapped nicely, please?" he asked quietly. He was awful about wrapping and wanted it to look nice for Amelia. 'Specially having forgotten her birthday!

"Thank you," René said taking the Galleons. She counted them and then stuffed them away. She looked up when he asked if she could wrap one of the sweets and smiled. "Sure," she nodded. If it was her friend Maxwell she would have teased him if it was for a girl, but since she didn't know the kid, then no. "Would you like a colored ribbon tied with it?" she asked, pulling out red, green, yellow, blue, purple and pink.

How cute, d'awww!

His face flushing slightly because he'd not actually gone to the store and bought something for Amelia yet. The necklace had been a mail order thing. Which was why it'd not been wrapped, just given to her from his pocket. Yeah, really slick Isaac...had been what he'd thought taking it from his pocket at Christmas.

"Uhh..." a ribbon? Was that what he should have on it? "Well, erm it's fer a birthday gift, so umm I think so. Which would ye choose?" he asked looking over at her.

Now wasn't that the CUTEST thing ever! René wanted to go around the counter and pinch his flushing cheeks but that would be weird and considered as harassment and she didn't want to end up in Azkaban.

"Hmm..." She examined the ribbons as she tapped her chin. "I would choose according to the person's taste. For example, I like blue-" Look at her hair. "- so I'd like that, but if the person is girly then pink. OR, if they go to Hogwarts you can choose a house color." She wasn't trying to give out a big explanation, she was just trying to be as helpful as a shopkeeper could be and bit more.

How in Merlin's name could he not know Amelia's favorite color??? AHHHH! This was a disaster! His eyes widened, at the thought of getting it wrong, what if she hated it?!?! Maybe he should just stick to Slytherin colors to keep from getting it completely wrong. He knew the first thing he was going to ask her next he saw her was what her favorite color was!

"I can always change the color..." he murmured. But then he'd have to be at the school. He couldn't wait that long! "Merlin..." he murmured again, the birthday had been almost 2 months ago! "I think I'll go with green." he replied eyeing the box, "Can't go wrong with her house color, right?"

Oh-oh!

Did she say something wrong? Maybe too much information? René smiled at the boy and said, "Don't worry, she'll like it either way." She was assuming this was for a girl because no boy would be nervous of giving something and making it perfect to just a friend. "It's the thought that counts," she said tying the green ribbon on the wrapped parcel. "Here you go and take this too." She handed him the package and an extra pink ribbon for if he changed his mind.

Ah, young romance.

Jen took her box of Licorice Wands and her packet of Every Falvour Beans and waited for her turn in the line to the counter.

Still a little worried of how Amelia would like the gift, Isaac gave a small smile at the shopkeepers comment, how she'd like it either way. It got a little bigger when she said it was the thought that counted. Nodding, he did agree with that. Ooo, even better! "Thank you!" he exclaimed as she added a pink ribbon just incase.

Opening his bag that had been charmed with an extension charm, he slipped his items he'd purchased inside, and carefully placed the wrapped box for Amelia inside as well with the pink ribbon laid on top. "Thanks again." he said flashing her a smile before turning to exit the shop.

D'aaaw! Double D'aaaw!

"You're welcome," she said, waving as the boy turned to leave. Now, how nice was that; getting a little something for a friend that was a girl. René grinned to herself for being of help and turned to the next person in line. She was in a much better mood.

"Hello, there," she said, flashing the child a smiled. René looked at the things the girl had in her arms and did a quick calculation of what her total would be in her head. "It will be 13 sickles, please," she grinned. Staring at all these sweets were making her hungry.

"Okay" jen says as she hands her 13 sickles
"Thankyou"

René took the sickles and put them away. "You're welcome!" she smiled and waved at the kid. Okay...so, some of them weren't as scary as she thought they'd be. Although there were some that...eh.

Serenity bustled up to the counter, her arms full. She piled each item on the counter carefully. Three packs of Pepper Imps, for her three brothers; Joey, Luke and Ryan, a pound of Walnut fudge, her father's favourite, as their parting gift, she wouldn't see him till Easter at least. A pound of Coconut Ice, a product she knew her mother had fond memories of, hopefully she still liked it, and finally, for herself, a pound of almond chocolate.

Xavier was sat at his stool, reading a comic book behind The Daily Prophet, using it as a disguise. He was so into it that he barely heard the shuffling at the counter. Placing both items down, he smiled at the girl.

"Hello and welcome to Sugarplums sweet shop, I hope you found everything fantastic!" And yes, he's been rehearsing that for quite a while now, hehe. He separated the items, doing mental math as he went. "Mmm, Pepper Imps, and walnut fudge, and coconut ice AND almond chocolate," he grinned. "Wonderful selection, you've got quite an eye there." M'hm, this girl knew how to choose her sweets.

"Alright," Xavier said. "That'll be three Galleons and three Sickles, please."

Serenity smiled back at the shopkeeper, who, up till a moment ago, had been completely engrossed in The Daily Prophet "Reading about that time thief?" It was a time thief right? She read that recently, and it almost scared her to think she'd be going to Hogwarts, the very place that woman had targeted.

"They're not all for me.." she chuckled. She looked at his grinning face, and an embarrassed blush spread across her cheeks "Sorry to trouble you, but, uh, could you get a paket of Jumping Gummy Bears, I couldn't reach the shelf.." Serenity explained, embarrased. While her brothers had her fathers height, she shared her mother's petite physique, at 5"0.

Thief?

WHEEERE?!

Oh, wait... It took Xavier a quick second to realize that the girl was talking about The Daily Prophet. Haha. That's what he gets for not actually reading it. "Can you believe she got away?" he said, shaking his head. "Good thing she's not at Hogwarts anymore, eh?" Yep, that meant his godson was safe, as well as the rest of the population.

Xavier then looked down at the girl's stash of sweets and chuckled softly. Of course, they weren't all for her. Oh, she needed assistance? "No trouble at all, that's why I'm here," he grinned, standing from his stool and walking over to the Jumping Gummy Bears.

When he came back, Xavier placed the pack of gummy bears on top of her pile. "So, your total comes out to be three Galleons and nine Sickles, please."

For a moment, she looked at his puzzled expression and wondered if she'd been reading the same newspaper? "It's terrible," she agreed."Well, she might come back." Serenity answered uncertainly. No she wouldn't come back, and Serenity would be just fine at Hogwarts. He grinmed at reached for the gummy bears, they were her fovourite, of course.

She reache into her bag and retrieved her purse. She clicked the fastenings and opened it, staring for a moment at the coins. She tried to remember which ones were which- she knew the big ones were galleons, but which were the sickles and knuts? She eventually handed him four galleons, deciding that was best, but also slightly upset at loosing yet more galleons from her purse.

Bae wandered into the sweet shop, ignoring the fact that he shouldn't really have been in there. His father had specifically told him to only go in there if he had money left over but he could always just accidentally-on-purpose forget something. He loved sweets but his father never let him have them, and as he was there alone that day, he didn't want to listen to his father. Instead, he would listen to what he wanted instead.

He walked around the room picking up various items and then headed to the counter, taking his place in the line. He had collected about a pound of maple fudge, half a pound of milk chocolate and half a pound of dark chocolate fudge, a pound of white chocolate, a pound of nougat (and he fully planned on eating all of that in the next half an hour; he absolutely adored nougat), two giant gumballs, two packs of invisible gum, four packets of bertie botts every flavour beans, two chocolate frogs and three acid pops. And nobody was going to take it away from him. For once, his dad had no say in what he bought, and he was enjoying himself rather a lot.

After dropping off her more delicate items with her father, Kana headed to Sugarplum's, entering the shop and clearly meaning business. This would be her last stop before Everlasting Inks, and she had more money to spend than she had originally thought. She was going to do quite the number on the sweets shop, and immediately headed for the shelves.

Kana had cut her hair over the summer, so it was no longer a fluffy mane of koolaid-red hair. Now it was chin-length and smoother. She was wearing a thin, longsleeved grey shirt that had the Ravenclaw crest on it. In one hand, she carried a canvas bag that contained items she had already purchased. She moved it to the bend of her elbow so that she could better carry all the... all the candy.

After a good ten or fifteen minutes of deciding, picking, and choosing, she approached the counter and set everything down. She had two packs of invisible gum, three packets of sour swirls, two boxes of licorice wands, five sugar quills (her favorite), four cockroach clusters, five fudge flies, and two jelly slugs.

Kana might've been thin, but she loved her sugar.

"Good afternoon," she nodded to the shopkeeper. Wait. He looked familliar. Kana tried not to stare as she reached for her back pocket to get her money. He just looked really, really familliar. And handsome. But mostly familliar.

After practically begging her dad for a little extra money, and after he grudgingly agreed, Ariella had happily skipped all the way to the front door of Sugarplum's Sweet Shop. As she entered the shop the smile on her face had grown even larger, if that was eaven possible. Candy was her weakness, and her only effective way to bribe her brother and sister.

Ari continued to skip around the shop as she snatched her favorites off of the shelves. She licked her lips in anticipation as she grabbed a Box of Cherry-center Truffles, some of Drooble's Best Blowing Gum, two packets of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Bean, three Chocolate Frogs, and a box of Pumpkin Pasties. With her arms full, Ariella made her way towards the front counter to pay. She could practically taste the surgary sweets already...
