I am not sure where to put this post.
I am working on a new character (Bettie). She is a pureblood her family thought she was going to be a squib.
I do not know if I should give her sign of power on her 11th birthday. I can not think of powers I would give her or should I have just received her expectance letter to Hogwarts. I could use some ideas.

Gives her sort of a similarity to what muggleborns go through (which sometimes is a good thing to see from that point of view) where she wasn't expecting going to Hogwarts and now she is.
