Guys, you really shouldn't be editing the 'cosmetic' look of someone else's entry or the actual content without their express permission. Some people (like me, for example) have set ours up a little differently and prefer it as it is, although it may not look uniform with all the boxes. There are plenty of people asking for help, so you do not need to be editing the entries of those who are not. If you see something you think needs fixing, please leave them a message and ask for permission first.

I gave permission to my friends on Nero's to edit their bios.And was given Permission to Edit their Bio with her charries husbands family.

I agree. I, myself don't edit someone else's layout for their page. I merely check up on some misspelled words, wrong grammars, and a few informations (such as changing their charries current year levels based on the RP) .. :yes:

I assumed he was because Martel says:"Shanklish and Oleander will keep you informed during your absence in the usual way." But someone removed him. Can't find many more references to that character, except when he barged into the post office.

Well currently the RP is set in the year 2077 and it's July I think. So if your charrie is going to be a first year their birth year would be either 2066-ish.

It helps to remember that, aside from summer birthdays, students turn 12 during their first year. So if your student has a birthday from September to December, they're born in 2065, and if the birthday is from January to June, they're born in 2066.

Okay, so....I did some digging around on the HP canon wiki...and found that many leagues have been mentioned (canonwise, published in Quidditch Through the Ages; which, looool, it's been a while since I've looked at any of it because quidditch questions and everything, so I forgot how much base canon was already in place).

I updated everything and added what was already published in that book. Of course, my main thing - as it is whenever JKR introduced new material - is that we are almost 100 years into the future from today's canon. So, I feel as though we could pretty much do whatever we wanted teamwise? Like with sports teams in America, all an owner would really need is an obscene amount of money, the right sponsors, and good location. So, we could probably get with emjay and see what she thinks, too, because she might have some really good insight into whatever we want to try and introduce into canon.

If you're comfortable with some coding, the tabbers I first noticed in TDK I started implementing in Luc and other pages make the school years / exam results display cleaner. This page though without much coding required looks like a good template to start with.

Stuttgart's already been added, and I didn't even realize it, so crisis averted! Besides, I've been RPing this for three IC years. It wouldn't make any sense to just suddenly change schools, you know? Not when Gabriel's been working towards specific things (like his T.A. position with Magical snd Mundane Languages), and essentially building very important relationships with his professors, etc. People he can get references from later in life. Yes, sorry about that. I was getting very uncomfortable just because I hadn't touched based with the right people, and it's important for me to do that, because I don't want anyone to think I'm stepping on their toes! And who knows what canon stuff they've worked out, you know?

You mentioned a quiz, how will that work? Will those of us who have characters that fit that criteria be filling out this quiz to get our characters listed? Will it be ran similarly to how the Quidditch rosters are? First come, first listed? Sorry, I'm asking ALL THE THINGS!

XD I don't think we ever coded a quiz for the daycare. I know we talked about it at one point, but later decided it was simply too much hassle. Jenn (JennMarie) and I did these pages just to enrich the daycare experience. *nods* XD That was during the time when I was doing all this extra, unnecessary stuff for RP things. Yay! OCD.

Also, I inquired about it, and it was decided that this would be better left on SS (so it doesn't become a thing, and remains fair). This way, when people fill out the quiz for their charries, there won't be 10 French MoMs and however many duplicate DHs (for other countries). I do think that after Liz finishes the quiz and people start filling it out and are officially listed onsite, we could probably compile a list? If that's okay with Liz and everything.

This is the thing that has always given me anxieties about the whole thing, which is why I didn't have a charrie like this until Roxanne. I didn't want to run into a situation where someone else was like, "Wait, I had that as cannon for my character years ago." And that’s why I mention Roxanne's position now every time I get a chance, so that people know, you know what I mean?

I guess what I'm trying, but not doing a very good job, to say is that I agree with keeping this on SS. Then it's cannon for the whole site and everyone knows, etc. etc :xd:

I can completely understand this fear, as it's hard to know what headcanons others might have and with nothing officially listed, who's to know? But I love what Liz is doing as far as getting a quiz together and giving us the opportunities to be included in that particular world building....and for it to be made official onsite. I have a question: can we add our character for a position that has not been filled in the spreadsheets? For example, for a foreign Ministry position, would I be able to plop my character down?

Yup, that's pretty much how it works for right now, until an official onsite quiz can be formulated. Liz has something in the works! So, if you have a character that is in a position in a foreign Ministry, just list them. :loved: Granting that no one else is currently holding that position.

Absolutely! You can fill in any characters in those slots as long as it's not already taken as their current position. That spreadsheet is for our canon so if someone wants to claim it at MACUSA for example, they need to put there charrie in the list and position :)
