- do we have a space limit for that site? how many GBs, pages et al.

- is there some kind of auto-cataloging/ indexing for the site? someone already mentioned using the search bar and not getting any results. is that something done automatically by Wikia or something the global editor/s need to do manually?

I don't know about size, but at this point, you shouldn't not create a page out of size concerns. IMO.

Cataloging is mostly done through the addition of categories when you create a new article, and the more specific tags you add, the better. Sme of us are going back in and cleaning up and adding tags to make more searches possible, but it is arduous work and would be easier if they were put in correctly on the front end. Although I'd be adding them anyway because we keep thinking of new ways info can be organized... By class, for example, so we add graduation year.

The search box is relatively limited in some ways, but it works. I haven't spent much time using it, but I can pull things up. Pages pull up if you search correctly, but you can't pull up a category that I can see. Something to work out as we roll along.

So, the charms/spells list in the first post of this thread is added! ^_^ Take a look if you want: Spell & Charms lists.

I have a question: Are you guys adding all the plants that are mentioned in The Ultimate Guide to Herbology? Or are you picking some? Because I think some of them exist in other encyclopedias. (Figured that while doing homeowork. :xd:)

I made a page for Cantra, school in Germany. That is where Wist Ebony used to be before coming to Hogwarts. I see that all the spells are done, so I doubt I can help there.

Thank you to everyone who has made a contribution. I can't believe we have over 260 pages total, 60 characters, 42 spells, 32 potions, 80 magical plants, and so on. :)

I am going to be editing the front page to make it a little easier to navigate. Meanwhile, keep those pages coming and make use of them! Have your character show off in a class by performing a different spell or something. I did it last term got 10 extra points!!! ;)

I've started working on the transfiguration stuff from the earlier terms. I figured most people would start from the beginning, but I think a lot of the recent transfiguration prof are using the old stuff anyways.

I'm definitely going to put in pages for a couple of my charries.

Do you mean in that table, format, template thing? You get the picture link from like Photobucket, and you have the [ IMG ] [/ IMG ] coding around it in the image part of the template. When it's just on the page though you upload it on the side with the 'add features and media part', you click photo, and follow the stuff from there such as upload and adding.

If that doesn't work I have no idea >_< Sorry if it's confusing, I'm horrible at explaining stuff.
